Omar: If that joker doesn’t stop annoying me, I’m going to give that mouth of his something better to do.

The first time I saw Anders F***ing Bash, he was shirtless, armed, and simultaneously the most beautiful and frustrating man I’ve ever met.

He has not gotten any uglier. Or any less frustrating. And today I finally took a swing at him.

Our boss thinks a simple op in East Texas is exactly the thing we need to mend our relationship and restore the team dynamic.

I think two men are driving to the Pineywoods and only one is coming back.

Anders: Look y’all—sane isn’t really where I shine.

Does it make sense to mess with the Guardians’ new hired gun every chance I get? No. Does it mean I’m going to stop? Also no.

Honestly, there’s nothing more fun than irritating a sexy grump who can’t stand how pretty I am.

That said...the more I get to know him, the more I realize how much he's hiding behind those walls of his. And this little road trip is the perfect opportunity to thoroughly explore the real Omar.

I just hope I haven’t pushed him too far this time.

Full Contact is a mercenary MM romance set in Austin and the Pineywoods of East Texas. It features smoking hot mortal enemies, a small vehicle fire, inappropriate bumper stickers, and a couple of alligators named Millie and Dave.

This is the second book in the Wrecked: Guardians Series. Several characters from the Wrecked series make an appearance, but you don’t need to read the Wrecked series to enjoy the slightly more nefarious Guardians.

He’s not my enemy, he never was. He’s not the opposite of me, he’s the pieces of me I didn’t know were missing.

ALWAYS SUCH A PLEASURE to come back to these guys. And the gray sweatpants season!! 😭😭😭 Best idea Parker ever had.

I did exactly what Parker suggested—a couple of weeks ago, I threw on a pair of gray sweatpants and showed up at the gym everyone goes to. I even did jumping jacks. He was so distracted, he ran into the old guy everyone is afraid of. […]

[…] The following week I went back, at Parker’s insistence, still in the gray sweatpants. He nearly dropped a barbell on his toe. When he later walked into the communal showers and saw me in all my glory, he almost ate it right then and there. I caught him, and thinking I was smart, gave him another wink.

And people, I can’t stress enough how good Zane Daniels’ (aka Zachary Johnson) performance for the audio was. Highly recommended, this guy —in general!

Look, I get that for normal people, a morning of hand jobs and murder can be…off-putting. Thank god we’re not normal.

Because all other audiobooks seem to suck right now I went back to these two and shit, it was as good as the first time (which was only two weeks ago *lolll)! ♡

So good, this book was equally hot as it was funny. Anders & Omar, people. The pranks and their animosities with each other at the beginning while their sexual tension went all over the place was just everything. I was laughing my ass off while simultaneously fanning myself. It was awesome!

And then. Almost half way into the book. A memory that almost made me stop breathing. This hurt really fucking bad and broke my heart to pieces for Omar. It gave a glimpse into his past he never showed anyone before -- with the exception of Anders, now. ♡

After that I went right back to laughing and fanning myself. Anders is not only the funny boy in the team that annoys the crap out of everybody on a daily basis, he is also cute as hell, tender and caring and an absolute sweetheart (I may have developed a crush on him). Only that Omar hadn’t had a chance to see that before now. He’s stoic and closed-off with his no-bullshit attitude but Anders gets under his skin and cracking open his hard shell little by little until Omar is left open and vulnerable for Anders to take care of him and to heal. - Even though Anders is supposed to be a sociopath with a love for murder.

I’ve really fallen head over heels for all these characters and this series.

side note: In this book we meet sassy little twink Sam and I feel a strong urge to abandon this series for now to get his story in Goodnight. There seemed to be a lot he is hiding and I can’t wait to find out!

Yeah, no. I'm officially breaking up with this author.

I can't with how immature the MCs are. They are adults and trained assassins, yet act like overgrown frat boys, what with the constant pranks and bickering.

The tone of the book (light, silly, jovial) doesn't match the subject matter (murdering sex traffickers and other terrible humans).

Sloane Kennedy does a far better job dealing with the same theme in her The Protectors series.

Minority Opinion Ahead....

I was excited for this alot. Like... ALOT.
I was looking forward to Omar's book because of all the baggage he had. I'm always excited to read about Musrab characters, though I also dread it. That and the fact that it would be a Grumpy-sunshine book... I had high expectations.

However...

Things started good enough. The Halloween encounter was sexy and fun.

And then... the pranks started. The pranks that were fun in the beginning and progressively started getting more and more uncomfortable. You see, putting a "Fuck The Police" bumper sticker on an Musrab's car is just too much. Anders is an educated, worldly doctor. He should know better. And when he was called out on it, he was surprised and clueless.

As a result, I never warmed up to Anders.

Second. Omar.
Omar is a Muslim Iraqi gay man. He's secular (which is almost always the case when authors write a Muslim character. You can be religious and gay you know.) He's got baggage upon baggage of what he endured because of his terrorist of a father. He was a child soldier, someone who murdered and tortured and did unspeakable things.
Ask me how much of that was addressed?
Very very little. All that backstory was just background noise. Omar could have been an amazing character, multi-layered and deep. His backstory had the potential to be quite sincerely great. But it all fizzled out in 1 breakdown. After which Omar turned into a sappy horndog. One breakdown and one day later, Omar transforms into a whole new man. Tell me how this is authentic and respectful of Omar's past?

Moving on...

The Arabic. The Arabic words were both written wrong and used in the wrong context. I'm Lebanese i.e. an Arab. So reading the Arabic phrases was frankly too much.
It's Iraqi not Earaqi. Arabi not Earabi.
The cuss words were too vulgar and nothing that an Arab would use in the context they were put in.

The stereotyping.
“Holy shit, you are one hairy motherfucker.” Yeah, that’s what I figured. I lower my legs and shift away from him, explaining, “I’m Earaqi and Earabi, Anders. And there’s no way in hell I’m waxing, which is why nobody goes down there.”

What? Seriously?
Spoiler Alert, not all Arabs are hairy. Just like not all of us are brown or have dark eyes. Can we not with the stereotypes.

Also... Omar is secular, so that would mean that he wouldn't actually have a problem waxing. If he were religious, it would make sense. But he's not. Again... inconsistency.

Oh and also he's been living in the US for 10+ years and uses many phrases and terms that are distinctly American, which makes sense. And then out of nowhere, uses "cousin" instead of "uncle". Ummm... what?

There is more, but I'm gonna stop here.

I'm so disappointed and quite frankly offended.

New rating 3-3.5 stars (can be read as a standalone, I have forgotten all about the other books/series that connect with this one)

Zane Daniels (aka Zachary Johnson) did a good job with the narrations, but I have come to learn that Kelly Fox isn't for me. She does have some books I really enjoy, but most of the time they are just mid... If I wanted a book that I knew was entertaining, and had men who cried (constantly) I will pick up a Kelly Fox book. I saw someone read this recently and wanted to pick it back up and I didn't love it, so I am lowering the rating, to a 3.

Original Read/Listen: August 2022
4 stars

After reading “Goodnight” with Sam and Trip I wanted to know where Sam’s backstory started as well as for some of the guys he had by his side.

I am glad I decided to give this series another chance. Book one didn’t love but book two, with these two enemies to lovers was a yes please haha

I am excited for the rest of the series!!

Really enjoyed the dynamic between Omar and Anders! There were definitely times when I too would have happily strangled Anders, but he was weirdly charming and vulnerable once their relationship got going, which was really sweet.

Insecure, anxious Anders was maybe my favourite of his personalities and his boy scout preparedness was really funny.

I also liked the OTT murder squad plot a lot more in this book and the side characters felt more balanced with the story.

Omar's past was so fucking sad which made him getting his HEA even better 😍

MM Romance
Enemies To Lovers Hurt/Comfort
3.5 Stars ⭐️

I’ve been trying to figure out how to review this for days and it’s going to be a bit of a clusterfuck trying to express my feelings on this one. If the shitty pranks were removed from this book along with some other tweaks, I’d have found it almost perfect because the enemies to lovers part worked for me. The pranks could have gotten Omar in serious trouble or killed and Anders should have known better considering he’s a doctor and has been a part of some top secret missions in the Middle East. He should especially understand how dangerous some of his “pranks” were to Omar seeing as though they are in East fucking Texas. I loved Anders in “Sworn Enemy” but he was a bit hard to warm up to in this one and had this been my first time meeting him, I dont know if I would have overlooked some of what he did. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The enemies to lovers set up was perfect though and nothing happened until 51% in making the unresolved sexual tension just shine and the sex scenes were hot. These are two big, fit men and the primal play between them while throwing each other against the walls and trying to overpower the other for the top was fucking scorching 🥵 It’s fitting I chose to read this on a day it was 108*F because wooo boy this one was making me burn up. However, this author really likes to make her characters cry before, during or after sex and while I love me some hurt/comfort, I’m not into the whole sex crying thing. It’s one thing to have an orgasm so powerful it brings tears to your eyes but when your partner has tears streaming down their face while crying into your chest afterwards? That’s where I draw the line especially since I’ve unfortunately had sex with that guy and it’s super fucking creepy in real life. 😬

This book had so much nonstop action it was hard for me to put it down at times and even though some of it was OTT, I ate that shit up because these guys take out the most evil people ever. (Sex traffickers, serial killers etc) I LOVED what they do with the bodies because it’s like karma on top of karma 😂😂 🐊 Millie & Dave 🐊 💗 I love thee.

The pacing felt off at times though which took me out of the book. The enemies part I loved so much from the first half turned into instalove the first time they fucked and I wasn’t expecting that, nor, was I expecting for Omar to break down over his past right before that sex scene and for it to never be brought up again. Once again I felt like this was not truly a stand-alone as the author claimed because it had so many overlapping characters from her first series and some of the things that happened had obviously been mentioned in prior books and it left me constantly feeling like I was missing something important. It looks like all of books this author writes overlap in some way and that sucks for people like me who don’t want to read 10 other books just to understand the basics of the book I’m reading.

Overall though, I liked Omar and Anders as a couple and I absolutely adored Anders’ family. I liked the hurt/comfort vibe although I felt like this was kind of a missed opportunity when it wasn’t mentioned again. I guess Anders had a magical dick or something to just cure Omar. I hated Anders pranks but he did grow a lot as a character which I appreciated. While there were other characters in this group I would like to read about, I don’t trust this author to deliver books that will satisfy me. This is the 3rd book I’ve read by this author but the only one I’ve actually liked whereas the other two I wanted to or did DNF at the 68% mark. It’s majorly disappointing to lose interest that late into a book and puts me off wanting to invest my time in any more of this author’s books no matter how interesting the characters seem to me right now.

I really hate that I can’t give this 3.5 stars as it’s almost impossible for me to give this 3 or 4 as they feel way too far apart. I originally gave this 4 stars but I legit hated the first part of this book and still can’t get over some of the shit done to Omar so I’m going to change this to 3 instead.

”Hate sex has always been on the table for us, so don’t even try to lie about that. Also, grief sex is totally a thing. There’s a reason why I bring condoms with me to every funeral.
Oh my god.“

Such a fun, goofy enemies-to-lovers romance with great UST and hot smut. I liked the contrast of Omar’s sexy grumpiness to Anders’s Norwegian himbo antics.

Audiobook Review

I cannot believe I was hesitant about getting this series in audio as I had not listened to them before but wow. This is my second book in a row reading and I think Zane Daniels may become a favorite.

Anyways in here we have Omar, the brother-in-law to Rafi from book one and Anders Bash, one of the sexy twins from every book related to this world.

After months of teasing and pranks they finally hook up and realize that they love each other. The scene after Omar's night terrors was so sweet.

We also meet Rohan, one of the mcs from the next book, which I will start immediately.

Y'all, I loved this one

There was a heck of a lot less crying in this and a lot more sexing with the murder. I think that this may have been the most perfect couple.

I just can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this book. I discovered Kelly Fox after the release of Hard Target, and I was really excited for the new one in the series. Omar and Anders are quite something, and I knew from the beginning I was going to love them. They are not exactly enemies, but not friends either: is somewhere in the middle, in a place full of jokes, banter and snark. Some pranks too. And a lot of sexual tension. And when I say a lot, it really is A LOT. With that said, their bedtimes are as steamy as we can get, and the author does an amazing job balancing the snark and the dirty talk. The story unfolds on a normal pace - not too fast nor too slow, and it is the perfect time for Omar and Anders to work on their relationship - as co-workers and then something more. The side characters - the Guardian team - are an important part of the story, and the more we get to know them, the more the story connects and involves the reader.
I really can’t wait for the rest of the books, I have a feeling a lot of people we meet on this book will get their HEA in the near future.

I didn’t know…

I really didn’t know I was going to love Omar and Anders as much as I did. Had I known, I would not have waited so long to read their story.

Anders annoyed me greatly in the other books because of his apparent lack of ability to be serious. This book made me see him in a whole new light. He had so many hidden layers. And his sincerity? Ugh. Slay me now. Omar was this calm lake, placid on the surface, but with so much going on underneath. Learning what his true story is was heartbreaking in so many ways. I loved them together. They just worked so well.

Their efforts to dominate one another were just *chefs kiss* so hot. Fox knows how to write a scene, let me tell you. Beyond that, Omar opens up to Anders and shows a vulnerability that just makes the sweet moments that much sweeter.

I loved this book and it makes me itch go back and re-read the others. A very easy to give 5 stars.

I had no idea this book had been released till I chanced upon it in my KU recommendations. Thank you KU recommendations!! Lol!

I really enjoyed this. It had a great balance of action, humour and heart.

Anders was a perennial kid. He was annoying at first, but his sunny disposition won Omar over eventually. After that, these two were just great together and I loved their relationship.

Thane and Ronan are next!! Can't wait!!

I'm giving this book 4.5⭐, but I'll round it up, because it's turning out to be the best in the series and well, I feel generous today, this was definitely a really good book, much, much better than the previous installment , it's like night and day, really.

🟡 Both MMCs are gay, around 30 years old
🟠 Slower burn, but well paced
🌶️ Really good spice, both vers
🔴 One MMC is a sociopath and a doctor
🔵 Other MMC was a child soldier in Iraq
🟣 Both trained and very professional
🟢 Great, funny banter, good dialogues
❗ Murder, some homophobia

First of all, let me give you my Omar, the character I absolutely loved. Omar is one sexy, fine ass man and everything about him is a fucking delight.

Omar joins the team of Guardians after Rafi, his ex brother-in-law, gets together with Everett in the first book and they both get pulled into the business.
Omar is from Iraq, where he was a child soldier. He comes from a very harsh muslim background, having been in a military household and gay, and then fleeing the country at 18.

Omar and Anders - one of the mercenary twins in this group - have a love-hate relationship since the very beginning. No, scratch that, it's only hate , but I wouldn't call this an enemies-to-lovers book, because they work in the same environment and nothing drastically hostile really happens between them, it's just pranking and banter - but it's very good.

In the first installment Anders saw Omar for the first time and I feel like he was gone in that very second, and in this book he's acting like a 10 year old boy with a big crush, so he's constantly pranking and ribbing Omar and eventually Omar starts to retaliate, but in the form of wearing gray sweatpants, which...yeah, doesn't really have the effect Omar was going for, because now, Anders is acting even more crazy . 😄

"I want his hands around my neck, I want him to wrestle me for top, I want him to force me against the nearest flat surface and take all his carefully hidden rage out on me."

Oh, damn. 😏

When they go on a mission together, they have to spend quite a bit of time together alone, so they talk, they get closer and Anders turns out to be not only a jokester, but a really sensitive, emotional guy, which surprised even me; he's a sociopath (we're told in the 3rd installment), but that doesn't get really explored here, so the reader can't know Anders actually is a completely different story and has these jobs for an outlet of an otherwise mental illlnes that would definitely take him on a terrible life path, so here he's a doctor, he works on two ends in covert ops and is basically a really decent guy.

Omar starts opening up to Anders and they start hooking up, but again - not really just hooking up, because they both sense from the very start that this isn't just that, yet they don't talk about it, especially since Omar is very closed off and has a terrible past behind him.

"I can't believe I held him. I can't believe I kissed him. I can't believe I fucked him. It wasn't fucking, though, was it? When I fuck someone, I don't wake up the next day with a whole new outlook on life."

The way they come together though, is an absolute delish. So good to read about it. They're very attracted to each other, the spice was really good, so were the kissing scenes, sensual, sexy, passionate and a bit combative - the perfect mix.

Both characters were amazing, especially Omar for me. They had great chemistry and the emotional connection was there, although it wasn't much talked about between them, it just happened with them spending time together alone and that put both characters in a position to be very vulnerable with each other.
Anders was such a sweetheart and held that emotional space for Omar beautifully.

"It strikes me as curious, and slightly magical, that his warmth feels protective."

Their banter was good, dialogues well written, it's really like the whole book was written by a different author, so well done . 👏

The story has the same plot, it's always killing the bad guys, so nothing that drastic or dramatic. There's no angst, it's funny, it's sexy, it runs deeper than the previous installment and both characters really clicked, so did all the side characters, I loved the dynamic and yeah, I think I also loved the aligators 😆, so I definitely recommed this book.

As far as other series go, the characters are all connected; it's the Wrecked series (that didn't really work for me and you don't have to read it first); after this one you'll want to go to Rebel Sky Ranch series (Samuel, who's rescued in this book, is Trip Goodnight's Sam) and after that one go to Wild Heart Ranch series.

All good series that have 1 book amongst them that was a 5* book for me, low angst stories with similar developments and pretty awesome characters.

I fell in love with Kelly Fox's writing within the first few pages of Sanctuary and each of her books is better than the previous one. Full Contact is the follow-up to Hard Target in the Wrecked: Guardians series. Rafi and Everett's story is one one of the best books I've read this year so the bar was set pretty high, but Anders and Omar met the challenge.

Two dominant, strong-willed men with opposite personalities clash in the sexiest of ways. Imagine Toni Mahfud (Omar) and Brock O'Hurn (Anders). Yes. That kind of sexy. This book is a thrill ride, too, just slightly a slightly different kind than Hard Target. There's plenty of witty banter, but there are also plenty of tender moments along with the laughs, the thrills, and of course, the sizzling-hot sex. Kelly deftly balances conversational style with lovely prose, and is as good at couching gut-wrenching emotion with humor as Lily Morton is, just with a different accent.

As a Texan, I love that much of the book is set in the East Texas Piney Woods. Many people may be surprised to discover that Texas has pine forests and wetlands, but we do. I also love the mention of Buc-ee's and Beaver Nuggets.

Mostly, though, I love the Guardians crew, and the Bash family, and Dave and Millie (you'll see!)
I would totally read Parker's book whether it's FF or FM (the M wouldn't come first with Parker.) I laughed, I shed a few tears, my heart raced, and I got lost in the story in the very best way. You could read this as a standalone but you'd miss the nuances. If you've not read any of Kelly's books, I recommend starting at the beginning, but to get to this series faster, start with Shameless, then Hard Target, before Full Contact.

I can't wait for the next one!

Another winner by the wonderful Kelly Fox - not surprising at all, honestly. The banter, the humor, the sexy times, the action, the conversational writing style, it's all here in spades. Somehow, Kelly continues to make me fall even more in love with this group of characters with every book she writes.

I was expecting a lot of snarky Anders and a lot of irritated Omar in this book. I was not expecting the depth of emotion we got to see from both of them. These are two men who feel things so very deeply, and it was beautiful to experience. I've always been a sucker for the damaged man, and boy did Omar hit all my buttons. But then Anders allows him to be vulnerable and he just cracks open to this incredibly deep, beautiful man that I was not anticipating we would ever see from him. And Anders might be a goof, but he has the ability to be so sincere, and when he loves, he loves hard.

Full Contact was slightly more technical and suspenseful than Hard Target, but that certainly didn't take away from my enjoyment of it. And Kelly's use of Arabic in the sexy times, the sincere times, and the frustrated times really made Omar's personality shine. He easily slides right up to the top of my favorites list of Kelly's characters.

I can't say it enough - if you're not reading Kelly Fox's books, you are missing out. They get better with every release, and are easily my favorites of 2020.

I have been looking forward to this since I finished book one of this series.

Again, like the first book, I was drawn right into this story. I found the writing to be witty, fun and highly entertaining.

I was fully invested in the story and the relationship between Omar and Anders. I loved how they teased and pushed each other. Their one uping each other was hilarious.

Together they have smokin hot chemistry. This story brings all the feels with plenty of action and emotion. I loved and highly recommend this series.

I really hope Thane and Ronan are next. I can't wait to read their story..

Brilliant!

Annoyance, frustration and lust in one sexy Ander's package was no match for Omar's stoic, robotic resistance.
Great back and forth. Lots of tension and steam and heaps of humour. I really liked these two and I think crazy Ander's is my favourite character now.
Just so much fun!!!

This book gives me a big old dilemma. I received an advanced reader copy as a courtesy from the author for my honest opinion, and my honest opinion is that if I had borrowed this from Kindle Unlimited, I would have DNFd it well before I started to enjoy it around the 50% mark. I sincerely disliked the character of Anders and all of the stuff that he did to Omar and his general behavior overall did not sit right with me. So I just would have given up because there was nothing likeable about him whatsoever in the first 50% of the book. The other problem is an ongoing one with this author, which is that she doesn't set up her individual books at all with any world building whatsoever. I'm not asking for a major recap but I would like main character descriptions and maybe a little background because I read over 200 books a year and the world is not fresh for me with every new book. But in this book there was very little characterization and I couldn't really picture the characters that well besides the generic description that one was Norwegian and one was Iraqi. So that's the bad.

The good part is that I did eventually end up enjoying the book, but the first 50% left a really bad taste in my mouth. I would really have liked it better if the first 50% had been condensed to maybe 10 to 20% of the book as a whole and then have the Anders character grow up a little bit and stop being a frat boy idiot. Some people may find him endearing, but his behavior was not my cup of tea. The trend that I do like with this author is that she consistently draws out emotional stories without getting melodramatic and that she writes some pretty happy fun times between the characters. I do think that people will enjoy this book, and I think especially people who are fans of this author will enjoy the book. But if you are like me and you are looking for a review that tells you why you should keep reading, go ahead and keep reading. It does get better.

Bottom line: 1 star for the first half of the book, 5 stars for the back half. We're going to call it even at three stars.

Such a good book. I didn’t read the first book in this series, nor all the books in the Wrecked series, but that didn’t impact my enjoyment or understanding in this book. You might want to understand a little background into Rafi’s story, which I discovered a little from Heath and Roly’s book, but it’s not the end of the world if you aren’t familiar with that tragedy.

Omar is this no nonsense kind of guy & rightly so. He’s still waiting on his opportunity to take the citizenship test. Also, his upbringing makes him a very private.

Anders is a complete goof who’s crushing on Omar hard. Unfortunately, Anders’ form of flirting is annoying school yard pranks that literal go up in flames. FYI, poppers are highly flammable in extreme heat.

The forced proximity of these two should have resulted in a total disaster. Instead they let the chemistry that’s simmering just below the surface to ignite. Blossoming into some really hot scenes and a relationship.

I really enjoyed this book & totally recommend it.

Definitely my favourite couple.

Anders is a viking looking man with the mind of a 12 year old. He’s the doctor for his black ops team but also helps the Guardians with their vigilante business. The second he meets Omar, he wants him. The way to show him that is to prank him and annoy him all the time.

Omar escaped a very dangerous life from Iraq. He’s been living in the states for years but still isn’t comfortable to be openly gay. Anders irritates the living hell out of him but also entices him in all his Viking glory.

After they’re forced to work an op together so they can sort their issues out, they start getting to know each other a little better. Anders realises that Omar has been through more than he lets on and Omar realises that Anders has way more depth!

I love them separately. I love them together. They were perfect. Their little back and forth was everything.

Omar’s backstory broke me, but Anders being there for him put me back together!

Mixed feelings on this book. I enjoyed the overall world building, and find the missions and all the characters intriguing that I will read the next in series.

The concept of Full Contract was good but I can't help feeling the author missed one important step. If writing a character from a culture or ethnicity you're not part of then a sensitivity reader/s is a must.

Loved the back story of Omar but found that the conflict between Omar and Anders turned into insta-love after they had sex for the first time. Not necessary a bad thing, just not my thing.

A lot of good still, and while this book will not make my top read list, I will read more from this author.

Full Contact is book two in the Wrecked: Guardians series

After starting one of Kelly’s other series and meeting these characters I had to come to the beginning and it was so worth it to get Anders story with Omar.

Their banter and shenanigans were great. And while some of the content does involve past trauma it’s very much a low angst vibe read.

Looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

Another fun, hot and polished read from the author. I enjoyed the Wrecked series and had high hopes for this new one featuring Omar and Anders. I wasn't disappointed, these two were so different and I adored watching their relationship change and grow. As usual, there's a lot happening with a host of unique and loveable characters which grabbed your attention from the off. I really enjoy the authors writing because it sucks you into another world where you're guaranteed a good time with a lot of laughs, tons of snark and banter, and plenty of heat.

Anders is over the top in everything he does, witty repartee, practical jokes, getting rid of bodies. One of his colleagues says, “He’s the smartest dumbass I’ve ever met.”

Omar, quiet, unassuming, trying so hard to not kill Anders.

Action packed, lots of dangerous eye candy, a few little explosions, and tough guys who get mushy for the men they love made this a very nice story.

I like the authors style of writing so I’ll definitely recommend this book.

I fell in love with the Wrecked series by Kelly Fox but the spin off Wrecked: Guardians is just so so good. I couldn't wait for Omar and Anders book because you just knew these two were going to be so much fun to watch while they tried to find their way around each other, because you knew that the spark they were fighting was going to because a raging forest fire of the very best kind.

Not annoying as I thought it would be

Even though I enjoyed the first book, I knew Anders was going to be annoying… and he was. HOWEVER it turned into something likable.

Book was full of laughable and emotional moments with action mixed in. Looking forward to the next one in the series.

Omar and Anders are as described in the book like kids in the school yard lol this was a great read in this series.

It has laughter love, drama, family with quirks and the grittiness we expect from the Guardians.

Anders f***ing Bash - that is all

No but seriously I love a good himbo/would be sociopath who doesn't seem to get social cues and Ander was great.

This book is full of action, steam and snark which is a winning combination for me
