The Tape

Rate this book
Ronnie Hadleigh is a washed-up bent ex-copper with a prison record. Now a private detective two years out of prison, he makes a living from getting evidence of infidelity on husbands and wives. Then an old video tape is handed to him by a burglar with a conscience. The video shows a young girl being raped and murdered. But how do you find those responsible for a snuff film made over twenty years ago? Ronnie's investigation takes him through London's seedy underworld and even the seat of government itself. But nobody wants to put their hand up for involvement for either producing or procuring a film which graphically shows a young girl's degradation and brutal murder. Certain people will go to any lengths to prevent the truth coming out. So what hopes does an alcoholic ex-copper have with the stink of HM Belmarsh still sticking to him?
