For readers contemplating the purchase of this "Summary of Apeirogon" DON'T!!! On the other hand, the novel "Apeirogon" was one of the best works of literature I have ever read. McCann beautifully in words, context, and how he presented his work using cantons rather than chapters was genius...modeled on 1001 Nights Also, the way he metaphorically presented his story with birds, water, and the use of an apeirogon were creative and well used. I also loved that McCann used the character from his earlier novel, Philippe Petit, in the book, "Let the Great World Spin". It was a gripping presentation as Petit walked between the Jewish and Arab Section and released a dove that continued to come back to him as he walked the 1000 ft tightrope. It made me think, did McCann write this novel after reading about Petit again, or was it serendipitous that this event occurred as McCann contemplated and wrote this masterpiece.
This Summary was poorly written and questions were redundant. I would have been embarrassed to have used this Summary as a Book Club aid. Don't waist the $2.99!!!
I did not expect just a list of questions! This did include information about the author which I appreciated but I definitely expected more. Among many other things I was hoping for insight as to where the story was fictional vs factual, important things that others may believe were left out in order to sway the readers to a particular point of view.I was just hoping for much more than several pages with one question per page. This was a ripoff.
