Vengeance in the Highlands

This was a great hero. He was captured by his enemies and tortured and almost killed . The healer came and saved him twice but she could tolerate any more cruelty. She is disguised since her Brother tried to kill her years before. The hero escapes with her and she is forced to stay with him. He was so good. I loved their story. I read this author before and I am impressed that this book is so much better than the one I read . I will go download more. I loved this story.

I also got this ebook with KU.

I liked the book a lot, but the was a plot hole that was incongruous to reality but necessary for The plot.

Where can I find a Highlander🔥🔥🔥

Preview of: Highlander Game of Shadows has an Uncle Fergus is this the same Uncle Fergus as in Highlander's Unchained Heart? Wanted to mention that before I forgot.😉😉. I really enjoyed this book, when the hero was captured by his enemy I could feel his pain. His physical pain and his anguish over the lost of his comrades. The heroine who was a healer was hiding in fear of that same enemy. This story has torture, attempted murder, but it ends in love.

I really wanted to love it

Either I have been very tired or this book was too much like every other book. I fell asleep every time I tried to read it. Didn't really care for the ending and felt the author had many options and choose the easiest way to bring it to the end. It left me blah.... and to be clear I have stayed up all night to read a book I couldn't put down and did not fall asleep. This book fell way short of its mark in my opinion.

I really enjoy historical romance, first time reading this author and I enjoyed this story. The characters were good both main and supporting especially Ainslee I always love strong women in any genre. So I did enjoy this story, but what happen with the brother and his wife also the cousin? they were important characters in the story I thought, anyway enjoyed the read.

Enjoyed

An enjoyable story with enough action to keep your interest. The characters are believable but I would have liked to see a little more depth to fill out the story.

Unchained Heart

Even though this was a short novel, it was still entertaining and the chemistry between the two main characters were explosive.
