Wendy Smith published as Ariadne Wayne for three years before deciding she didn’t want to be someone else all the time. She’s an Apple Books and Nook bestselling author, whose book In the End, written as Ariadne Wayne, was named one of Apple’s best books of 2017. All her stories come with a quirky sense of humour, and she cries over everything.
No my fav troupe. Friends with benefits premise but that doesn't last long. Heroine is pushing away for a time but due to feeling her life is on hold while business issues are sorted which is fair enough as they live a aeroplane ride away from each other.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine. Neither are virgins no detail about previous partners.
Small other women drama. The Hero owns a bar and a woman comes in for a drink, batting her eyelashes at him and an estate agent tries to find ways to spend time with him but he shuts both down.
Heroine has possibility of interest from other man but she committed to trying with the Hero so it never goes anywhere.
Previous couples from earlier books in series appear at times, small possible spoilers to their plots in this book.
Lots of secondary characters that could have future books in series.
HEA.

Bar None is the 3rd book in author Wendy Smith’s Aeon series. This story is about Jackson and Miranda. Jackson is this longtime resident of the Nettle Downs and Miranda is COO of of Mollab. Miranda is this strong and very talented woman who doesn't necessarily need/want a man yet when she gets a look at Jackson and all his sweet personality and his sexy profile. Miranda was interested while Jackson was just instantly attracted. I loved the fake date start to their relationship/romance. Book 3 continues the theme of strong heroines and great heroes. There isn't ,per say, any conflicts in this story yet this still is a deliciously sweet and beautiful story with great characters, awesome plot and great romance read.
Bar None is the third book in Wendy Smith’s Aeon series. This one is about Jackson, long time Nettle Downs resident, and Miranda, Chief Operating Officer of Mollab. The thing I like about this series is the strong women in all of the books. This is the third book with a strong female lead with Miranda. She doesn’t need a man in her life but it doesn’t hurt to find one as sweet, respectful, and hot as Jackson! The one thing that was missing from this book was conflict. I was waiting for more depth to the story and that never happened. That’s why I gave this 3 stars. I really enjoy Wendy Smith’s writing overall and will continue to read this series (if there is more!) and anything else she releases!
I really enjoyed reading this third instalment in the Aeon series. This time it’s bar owner Jackson who takes one look at Miranda at their friends bachelorette party at his bar in Nettle Downs and wants to get to know her better. Miranda is a successful COO working in Dan Diego, who is facing a hard time at work (she trying to find a corporate spy) and coping with the changes both personal and professional brought about by Mollab’s relocation to Nettle Downs. Miranda is initially reluctant to add more complications to her life, but after he acts her date to her sister’s wedding she can’t see letting home go. Long distance is always tough.....
I expected this book to be like every other romance novel but my god it's not! It enticed me from the beginning, had me laughing and in tears! All I can say is everyone needs a Jackson and a Mr. Snuggles ;)
