The Way My Heart Is Built
Life for Sayora Mayhew was simple. Do what you love while loving what you do, with the support of your loved ones around you. She was on top of the world, her dancing career was taking off and life was grand, until it wasn’t. A revelation about the two people she held closest to her heart, sends Sayora into an emotional downward spiral, ending on the wrong side of the law. Omega True grew up with nothing but a crackhead for a mother. However, he never let that get in the way of him being the man he felt he was destined to be. He never used his environment as an excuse to stay stagnant but instead as motivation to do better, be better. Mega Money Records was his better, and he was on the brink of greatness, but something was missing. It’s not until he meets the beautiful Sayora did he finally realize what that was. It was her, but they both were carrying some heavy baggage. Baggage that neither are prepared to carry for the other. The way Sayora’s heart was built, she couldn’t afford the risks that love brought along but Omega made it hard to keep him at arm’s length. The connection he felt to her was unmatched and he was unwilling to let it go. Things were starting to look up until the past came whisking in, disheveling what they’re trying to build. Will Omega be as relentless in his pursuit or will the drama from both of their storms be too much for them to bare?

Great Read
This book was so good from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Held my attention and I couldn't put it down....a page-turner. Sayora, endured so much and they're still coming for her, but lookout she's ready to fight back. I really like her and Omega together, they need each other. I can't wait for Monster and Missy to get exactly what they deserve. Anell and Rochelle are going to big a problem. Hopefully, Nikki and Saint get it together. After that ending, I can't wait for the next installment. Great job Nikki Brown.

I have to say, this book touched me on a personal level. Sayora’s downfall after betrayal was so human. We all like to think we’ll handle pain with grace, but Nikki Brown shows how easy it is to let grief and anger steer us toward the wrong path. Sayora isn’t a saint, and that’s what made me relate to her. Then there’s Omega True, a man who had every excuse to give up on life, but instead built something powerful. His work with Mega Money Records showed that success isn’t just about money, it’s about rising from the ashes. The chemistry between Sayora and Omega wasn’t just physical; it was spiritual. I loved the way Nikki described their connection, it felt inevitable, like two souls recognizing each other. The ending left me thinking about whether love is strong enough to overcome generational pain and personal demons. A moving and realistic read.

Sayora is trying to be nice and not let her father handle Monster, but that's exactly what he deserves! Especially after allowing her baby to hear all of the horrible things he has done in the past. If her father doesn't get rid of him, Omega will. Omega and Sayora are trying to take things slow, but the women from his past don't seem to want to let go. Nikki will have to give Saint time to see that she's completely over Brandon. Can't wait to read part two to see what happens with the Mayhew sisters because they all have plenty of drama going on. Great read!

This book was very engaging and provoking. Sayora has endured quite a bit of heart break and as she tries to
reclaim some normalcy in her life. But jealousy creeps its ugly head and awakens a beast in her. This book is well written, detailed and relatable. It held my attention from the beginning to the end. Now I wait for Part 2 to watch the drama unfold as Sayora gains peace. I recommend this book. You will not regret reading it.

This was a very good read. Sayora didn't deserve what happened to her and I can't wait until part two to see her get some type of revenge on Monster and Missy. Omega seems like a good dude he just get a lot of stuff going on too. I think they can make it work though once they get rid of all the obstacles they have on their way. I hope Nikki and Saint get it together. She deserve her happiness and I think he will give that to her.

Fighting against all odds
I dislike this disloyal from monster and missy it it’s expected from a female who’s jealous of the only person who truly meant her some good ! I definitely can’t stand monster because he is so full of himself! I don’t like how saint did all that with Nikki and didn’t keep it 💯. I like omega!! As for Anell I don’t care for her either ! It’s females like her make that really don’t understand their position

Quintrell is the devil and I pray Sayora wins this battle
I really like how Sayora came home and handled her business. I really like her and Omega but thats a battle, I really hope thigs work out for them. Anell is supposed to be older than Omega but shes a hood rat trying to hold on to a good thing, however she killed it not knowing how to handle it or herself. 😣 lets see how this works out for her and Monster

I was on pins and needles after the sneak peak and I am still pins and needles after part 1😩 I love these 3 sisters and want to see them come out on top. What’s the point of coming from a no nonsense family if they can’t move on your behalf. Hopefully, all gloves are off for Sayora and Omega. Who has time to play when kids are at stake?

Nikki Brown always delivers a fire read. She never disappoints and I am loving this 5 star read. The drama,secrets and lies will have you hooked and never wanting it to end. They have so many obstacles in there way trying to go by the books. Ones needs to stop mixing business and pleasure. Sayora just keep get the bad hand. Monster has alot of nerves you chose her friend leave her alone. I hate when people use their child as a pawns. Can't wait to see how the second installment turns out. A MUST READ!!!!
Nikki you never cease to amaze me. You get better and better with each book/series that you write. I love Omega and Say together. I hate Monster and can't wait for him to get what he deserves...Rochelle is pissing me off. This is most definitely a must read. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to read part 2..

I gave 4 stars because Omega needs to handle his business. For him to be a boss too many people are playing reckless with him. I’d like to see him Boss up...put the women in their place and her BD. I can understand disrespect once but over and over, I’m beginning to doubt your gangsta!

What the hell????? The ending , Why??? I need more of the book asap!!!! I love this story and I want Monster to suffer the worst way!!! Damn that was good
I didn’t expect to get ingot to this one so quickly built the beginning intro to the story had me hooked. I love to see the underdog come out on top and this girl Sayora has been dealt a shorty hand she’s now trying to get back to herself and custody of her son and the struggle she’s encountering is bananas. I hope she get a break.
