This is a great series. I love the protagonist and her outlook on life!

Marley and the Strongman book 1
For everyone who has missed the witches of Hillcrest, rejoice and enjoy the first of a new series. Get a better understanding of the remarkable Marley. She’s a nature loving, green living witch in her own right rather than the sidekick she was in the last series,

Marley is finally opening her retreat center, the Greene Center for Magical Living. It is opening weekend, the first retreat, and it is fully booked. Twenty-five guests from the four magical realms, one critic and a guest speaker have Marley hopping from task to task trying to make everything go smoothly. Fortunately her witch sisters are there to help.

This weekend could make or break the center. If Marley can just impress the critic, the center will never lack for guests. But he seems to be awfully hard to please. When Marley discovers the man dead in his room even before the first event, things take a turn she could never have foreseen.

Now his ghost has charged Marley with finding his killer. Marley is no investigator! Will she be able to unravel this mystery? Will it herald the end of Marley’s dream of creating a more magical world?

The Artists Alchemy book 2
Marley and her owl Skili are my favorite Amorette Anderson characters! I totally relate to Marley’s spirituality, independence, and willingness to explore her place in the world.

It is almost time for the second retreat at Marley’s center. But there’s already a problem. When Turkey was too booked up to prepare the advertising for this retreat, Penny took it upon herself, saw the word alchemy and advertised it as a weekend dedicated to science! Half of the registered visitors are scientists, the other half artists, two groups that absolutely don’t get along.

The only solution is to go on hoping the groups can somehow blend together to see the world in a more magical way. There is more trouble on the horizon. The guest speaker and one of the scientists suffered through a bitter break up. Marley’s boyfriend is acting strangely, and before the weekend gets really going Marley is faced with doubts about some of those closest to her.

What else could go wrong? Throw in a murder, an angry ghost and what should be a relaxing event is really just one stress after another!

King Midas’ Magic book 3
Taxes are overdue and Marley’s in trouble. Have you ever thought inheriting a lot of money would solve your problems? For Marley it took her from a simple happy life to being bogged down with responsibility!

The temptation for Marley to move to Sarin’s inn on Cloud 9 has never looked better. She loved the idea of her Center for Magical Living but it has come with much more work than she ever considered. She found the financial side of her dream too confusing and stopped opening mail. Now she owes two years back taxes.

No problem one would think. Marley also inherited millions in addition to the land. But for Marley the money was just a way to support environmental causes. So now she’s broke.

This week she is hosting a workshop on finances with King Midas as the guest speaker. However with a murder the first night of the retreat, Marley is too busy with the investigation to get much benefit from the workshops.

Will Marley catch the murderer? Can she find a way to save the center from the tax collector? Or will she finally give in and move to Cloud 9?

This is a set of the first three books in the Marley Collection. I love each one.

A Strongman’s Spell
We’re back in Hillcrest along with their coven of witches. But it’s not Penny’s story, it’s Marley’s!! Marley is ready to open her magical wellness center. It’s her grandmother’s dream for her. The building is lovely created to her specifications and dreams. The opening is this weekend with a well-known speaker. It’s sold out with 25 people. Before the cocktail hour is halfway through, there’s been a murder. Marley is tasked with finding the murderer by the victim.

The Artist's Alchemy
Marley is ready to have her second workshop with an art theme. However, due to a marketing conflict, the workshop will have a mix of scientists and artists. Will conflict arise or will the healing ability of the center bring the group together. Unfortunately, the weekend gets off to a bad start with a murder. Join Marley in solving yet another murder.

King Midas's Magic
King Midas has come to give financial seminars at Marley’s retreat. His brother The Miser is the other half of the seminar. Marley and several guests go into town to watch the reenactment of a historic event. When the Miser and a local exchange hats, the local is shot during a botched reenactment. Now Marley has to discover who killed the local and how this will be explained without magic.

If you’ve read The Hillcrest Witch Mysteries series then you’ve met all these witches through that series with the stories being told through the eyes of Penny.

Well this series is told by her best friend Marley who wanted to build a health and wellness center to help magical beings.

This is a delightful series as well and I urge those of you who have read previous books by Amorette to read this series as well because she shares those delightful “nuggets” of wisdom in these books as she has in her other books and it’s so nice to read them again and think; “Yes. I remember that!”

If you haven’t read any of Amorette’s books yet well what are you waiting for? She has a magical way of writing that you will be sure to love! Her stories are page turners because they are so interesting! Along with her witch sisters we have all known and loved in the previous series new characters are introduced in each book which you will enjoy.

These cozies are just right for you to turn off the tv and get comfortable and escape to a world with your friends as they solve the mysteries associated with the Greene Wellness Center.

I recommend this collection to young adult and adult readers alike for you will all enjoy these stories! In fact, I would encourage you to pick up her other series’s and continue to enjoy Amorette’s magical world you are transported to!

A Marley the Witch Cozy Mystery Collection : Books 1-3” by Amorette Anderson is a boxset of tales of one Marley Greene an amateur witch ...who is also the owner of The Greene Center for Magical Living ...in Hillcrest, Colorado....and In The Boxset ...Marley and her familiar Skili ...a great horned owl and the Center’s staff ..A fairy godmother named Margie and a Golem named Geoff....host three separate retreats at the center...each of which manifests a unexpected murder/mystery which Marley and her friends unravel with unexpected twists & turns ...utilizing magic...dedication ...and often laughter and surprises along the way.
❤️ I can’t STRESS how EXCELLENT these tales are! I have read Ms.Anderson’s books for years...and even reread them...a rarity for me! And each time ...I gain needed wisdom and insights & delights. And this new series ...Marley grows in her Witchcraft and skills as an investigator! Read and see. Much enjoyed and Highly Recommended. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Copy of this book.

Marley decided what to do with some of the land and the mine that was left to her by her grandfather in his will. She, along with her other witch sisters help, build a new Wellness Center for everyone, magical or not in the five realms. She invites different speakers to come and give a workshop for a weekend or a week at a time on their speciality. Unfortunately, in each book someone ends up dead leaving Marley to solve the mystery. This books are so good that once you start one, you will really hate to have to put it down. I find myself reading half the night to find out what happened and who did it and why. I am only one for three in getting the right person for the demise but not right on the reason why lol. I love playing detective along with Marley and Skili her owl famaliar. Come and join the fun and pit your wits against Marley. This is a wonderful series and I always am looking for the next book to come out.

I am thoroughly enjoying this newest series by Amorette Anderson. Marley has come into her own and mysteries abound as she opens her new healing facility. There are old characters from the prior series, but plenty of new ones to keep the reader engaged. The quirky personalities of the prior coven are only added on with some "cute" new additions! The mysteries involved in each book are unique with no repetition. Marley's love life takes some new twists along with her growth in her witchy "gifts"! I have read each of these books individually and left a review with each book. I am a fan of this author's work and do recommend her books if you enjoy paranormal cozy mystery. Good, clean, enjoyable and fun reading. A great buy for all 3 books in the set!

The mysteries were good

Huh, I never thought I'd say this, but both Penny and Marley were a bit disappointing. Penny comes across as really childlike ditzy and Marley as someone who is two steps from giving in to being totally lazy. With her abandonment issues, part of that was understandable. At least until you learned she stayed at the Lazy S Inn, and Marley also wants to. Really? Marley may not have children, but she seems to be more like her mother than she thought. Sorry, I get dreamers, but she didn't come across as a dreamer. I'm glad she did not give in to the temptation of going to the inn and sit around doing nothing for years, but seriously, that was her answer to life's challenges?

A great set of cozy mysteries. If you love magic, mystery and creative personable characters, then you are sure to love this box set. Each mystery is completely unique but do progress in time as the main character grows and develops. It is a great value for you money and will provide hours of entertaining reading. Anderson is a highly creative and talented writer and this box set is a great way to get to know her work.

I had previously received all three books for free and have an honest review.

The Healing Begins

Marley is now opening her healing spa. Things like usual do not go well for the local witches of Hillcrest. She is always second guessing her abilities and needs encouragement from friends and familiars. Her Achilles heel is her fear of conflict. Each book has different problems arise to help her grow more aware of how capable she is with healing and easing conflict in others.
