See, Zack is also the owner of a private club, Club Silken, where guests are guaranteed not only the ultimate in privacy but also their sexual fantasies. He’s a Dom and he just found his ultimate submissive.
This story is first and foremost erotica with romantic elements. The devotion to the sexual relationship between Zack and Morgan is outstanding, presented through the lens of Club Silken. It’s sensual and erotic, told in graphic detail with skill and attention to the smallest detail. Yes, Zack and Morgan have an instant attraction but it fits very well in the context of the story. His dominant nature allows his more inexperienced partner to explore her sexuality without fear or inhibition.
I’m a fan of the genre and thought the erotica exceptional. Zack as a Dom was less overbearing than most and Morgan’s willingness to enter into the relationship made the romance more believable. I loved the notion of a Club Silken, especially the care and attention given to ensure exclusivity, privacy and safety. It allowed my imagination to envision the reality of this type of club. I also liked the world designed for the series, which includes Zack’s co-owners and Morgan’s friends. The next story is set up nicely with a little bit of mystery so I'm in for the next book.

Great book. Loved Zack and Morgan plus all their friends. I enjoyed how she was new to BDSM, but there weren't any long drawn out explanations about everything. It also didn't hurt that Zack was HAWT and sweet and perfect for Morgan. I thought the drama with the ex was lacking. There could have been more there.

Well, I have to admit that rarely do I read books that are fully centered on the carnal desires, but the title and the cover were simply too compelling to be ignored. This instant story that transports you to the erotic world and hold you captivated between the pages seemed so alluring…
Morgan, a girl, marked by her hard childhood and the biggest desire of the sexy club owner Zack Pierce. Leaving her wallet leads to one encounter that ignites their passion and the desire to touch, to explore, to h=get to know the other. To give and to take, to discover every wish, every secret, every desire… The sexual innuendos, the light touches, the dirty flirting lead to scenes where raw passion and lust simply burns the pages and forces readers to turn the pages.
This book definitely checks all the boxes for an erotica novel, a sex-centered book. I honestly liked the premise and the beginning was really nice, but I cannot help feeling slight disappointment regarding the plot and the storyline. There were too many plot holes that simply could not be ignored and the sub-plot was way too predictable and didn’t go anywhere. The instant connection was a bit far-fetched, but the lack of drama and angst in their relationship can be really relaxing and comfortable. I honestly would have loved to see a deeper emotional connection and greater development of the characters. At least, the hot scenes didn’t disappoint in any way…. It was scorching hot from beginning to the end.
If you would like to engage in a short, sensual story… a quick and sexy escape into the silken world, than this is one great choice for you.

this book is full-on erotica! it wastes no time in making up characters or story, if you are looking to read something hot and quick, this is the book for you.
I would not say this is good writing, the book, the characters are full of genre cliches. every dialogue is expected so it does get a bit boring after a dozen pages. Zack felt really mechanical, robotic, everything he said felt devoid of emotions. I could not relate to any of the characters or how quick everything was happening but I guess that was the point of the book. it's not a story but basic porn. Nick's character did intrigue me, I would have enjoyed reading about him. I liked Kayla and Chelsea better than morgan as well.it eventually became a bit repetitive. I think nick and Kayla are going to have a book of their own, that could be interesting.

Jeri Alexander's Come Hard is the first offering in her Silken series. The story of three friends managing to find love, lots of sex, and one would assume, some form of "happily...". While running an exclusive " sex club" bearing the same name.
The first.story of the three. (Yes. this is a trilogy.)
Is that of Morgan and Zack. Who meet after Morgan is called to hos more mainstream night spot Gloss. To retrieve her lost wallet after hours.
Of course, there is the instant "Oh my gawd, I just want to rip off his/her clothes and..." reaction being played out in the minds of both parties. But being demonstrated through innuendo, light touches, and flirting; on his part.
And hyper awareness and nonverbal cues on hers.
Then we proceed to the "let me introduce you to my world" phase of the game.
Where a date for dinner turns into a stop at "the club".
She's intrigued and " hot and bothered."
And the story of Morgan's introduction to "life as the submissive of a billionaire lite" begins.
The term "lite" is used here because a great deal of the sex in this book while frenzied. Is simple girl on guy fare. He even lets her get away with "topping from below" more than a few times.
And while his tone and general demeanor can be quite commanding at times. This is at its.heart a very sweet "billionaire meets his match" romance. That just happens to involve a sex club, mild spanking, beginner anal training, and very good straight heterosexual sex.
In short...
While it may not be the most original idea floating in the literary ether. Silken does offer readers a very well articulated "romantic but fast and flirty" intro to BDSM lite/billionaire meets his match fantasy.

I this new book which is a start of a new series, it is steamy, has romance with a hint of suspense as well. I’m so looking forward to the next book in the series.

Well what can i say this is a short story where Megan and Zack come together. For a BDSM book I would have liked more. I liked the story and the romance but the kink did nothing for me and it was all quite fast paced which it had to be because of the page count. there was some good banter throughout.

Their chemistry is instant, and he offers to take her to Club Silken, another club he owns. Club Silken is a membership only club that allows members to explore their deepest fantasies. Morgan is intrigued with exploring her fantasies and more importantly with Zack.
What I liked:
•I loved the idea of focusing on a place like Club Silken.
•This book has a lot of steam and hawtness!
•The length of the book was perfect and made it a quick read with excellent pacing.
What I did not like:
•The lack of character development of either Morgan or Zack. As a reader, we were presented with stereotypes – like the closed off billionaire.
•The book had a great angle to explore fantasies at Club Silken but then Morgan and Zack never talk about what those fantasies are. It appears to the reader that Morgan’s fantasies are whatever Zack wants her to do – which is disappointing.
•Morgan and Zack engage in a power dynamic with no discussion about this new relationship aside from her filling out some paperwork for Club Silken. Power dynamic relationships are intense emotional relationships and require significant trust which wasn’t explored in this novel.
•As an RN, I always focus in on medical discussions such as STI discussions. I was excited to see this discussion included and then disappointed to watch the characters proceed to engage in acts that contradict everything they said about STI prevention. STI spread through multiple routes not just through the “standard” way and it really disappointed me to see the lack of medical accuracy about the risk of STI transmission.
I enjoyed several parts of this book such as the steamy scenes and the pacing. However, I feel like this novel was lacking in character development especially when it concerns the character’s fantasies and didn’t authentically develop the relationship between Morgan and Zack.

Well, he is also part owner of Club Silken, a members only high end BDSM fantasy sex club. Morgan has never dabbled in this world but oh man she’s about too!

A new genre for one of my favorite romantic suspense authors! I love it when an author delves into uncharted territory--it's good for the author, the genre, and the reader. Come Hard is a fabulous debut novel in Contemporary Romance for Ms. Alexander as she leads her heroine, Morgan and the reader in a new world of awe and excitement at Club Silken. Don't worry though, her drool-worthy heroes with abs-to-die-for still dominate the room--just in a whole new way! I love that I now have a new series to dive into with gusto! Be prepared to get your panties knocked off!

Come Hard?! Yes, please!
This book was quickly hot! When Morgan Kimball accidentally leaves her billfold at a club owned by Mr. Zackary Pierce, she begins a whole new adventure. The instant chemistry these two exude gives you all the feels. Not to mention the scenes that are painted for you are hot and definitely make this a page turner! I love that at the very beginning, Jerrie Alexander, writing as Kenzie Stone, tells you it’s a HEA and will not end on a cliffhanger! This was my first book of Jerrie Alexander’s provided as an ARC from the publisher and now I can’t wait to read more of her books!

It was a fine read but does not enticing me to read the next book in the series.
This is instalust, don't buy that from one day to the next they are inseparable and feeling things they've never felt before. The conflict was nonexistent. The dialogue between between characters is either juvenile or overdone, understandably they are setting up and explaining the Silken world but it didn't flow naturally.
There were a few spelling errors and glaringly Zach says he joined the Marines but Morgan calls him an Army Ranger later.
This is erotica. Just someone writing out their fantasy and their idea, wishes of BDSM.

The cover of this Jerrie Alexander caught my eye. And because every now and then I like to try new authors with just out of my comfortzone stories, I requested the arcs for Club Silken part 1 and 2. I would call myself a shade of vanilla, just like Morgan. And although I admire Morgan's faith to try some bdsm stuff and it really got my panties in a twist, I don't think it is really 'my thing'. I did enjoy the story though and the tension between Zack and Morgan. So, in all three out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I received a complimentary copy of Come Hard in exchange for an honest review. This was a quick, fast paced, BDSM novel, and it checked all the boxes for the erotica genre. Having read several similar novels in this genre, there was nothing that made this book special or stand out. There was very little character development, and the main focus was on Zack's members only club, and a BDSM exclusive relationship. Still a worthwhile read if you enjoy erotica.

After his divorce, he swore he'd never get involved in a committed relationship again. That is until he meets Morgan, after he finds her wallet in his club one night.
Morgan has had a hard childhood. Her parents were killed in a car accident when she was only 10, as she was raised by her grandmother afterwards. Her 2 best friends are her only family she has. Meeting Zack was an experience, the chemistry between them was off the charts. They were sitting at a closed bar at 4 a.m. just talking and having a drink. She was in pajamas and him in jeans. The way she felt around him was like nothing she's ever felt with another man. When he asks her out to dinner the following night, she accepts and they go to Club Silken afterwards. She was curious about the club and was excited by the possibilities that could happen.
But Morgan knows that Zack isn't a relationship type of man; he told her so. But neither of them can deny that there's something bigger growing between them. He loves being the first man that she submits to, and wants to be with her all the time. Morgan is trying to protect her heart from when he's had enough of her. But she starts to realize that it's impossible to do so.

The book title includes “Club Silken #1”, which means Alexander will make this into a series. This is my first book from the author and I’m glad because now I am very curious as to what #2 will bring. I’m sure it’ll be just as juicy and delicious as this was.

An amazing read!!!! Jerrie Alexander knocked this book out of the park. A very well written and balanced BDSM romance will have you falling in love with Zach and Morgan and begging for the next book in the Club Silken series.
Instant attraction grows into love in this fast paced but ultimately sweet and SEXY book. Neither Zach, nor Morgan are looking for a commitment, let alone a long-term relationship. But when Morgan loses her billfold and finds it in the hands of a sexy club owner, her world begins to shift and Zach is helpless to fight his attraction.
I love how Zach is always there for Morgan. Never pushing more than Morgan is willing to go, he keeps her front and center when it comes to anything and everything in his life.

It’s abundantly clear from the outset that this is going to be a sex-centred book. Plot comes second. Nevertheless, this book was short, steamy and enjoyable. While I think the plot had room for improvement and there were a lot of loose ends, anyone looking for an easy read with a lot of kink will surely enjoy this book. Great for fans of 50 Shades style reads

3.5 stars really. I like this storyline I thought it was good. The romance part was sweet the scenes were sexy.
Then I had issues.
1. This was soooooo instant everything. Instant attraction, instant let’s go to the sex club, instant I want to try everything, instant I trust you, instant nothing offends me, and instant love
2. Plot holes from everywhere. Ex is a jerk he threatens her, goes nowhere. Apartment gets broken into and messed up, goes nowhere and we never find out what happens. If her friend is such a great friend, why wouldn’t she know where she went when she ran and wouldn’t talk to her?
3. More realistic reactions. She like everything. She followed all commands. She was sooo compliant and trusted him completely. So unrealistic.
I know it’s called fiction for a reason, but this was like too much.

Come Hard is the first book in the Club Silken Series. It is a fantastic book and extremely H.O.T.!!! Zack Pierce is co-owner of three nightclubs, Gloss, Gallants, and Club Silken with two of his close friends. He manages Club Silken an alternate lifestyle club in Chicago. He’s covering for one of them at Gloss when he meets Morgan Kimball to return the billfold she lost at the club and the attraction he feels is mutual. He ask her out and invites her to visit his club. This is an exciting story as Zack introduces Morgan to new experiences. Did I say it was H.O.T? Well it bears repeating lol. This is a great start to the series and I look forward to more Club Silken books from Jerrie Alexander.

Enthralling novel on the aspects on finding love within the crevices of BDSM.
Jerrie Alexander is a new author for me, and one I will look out for. Especially knowing that a second Club Silken novel is in the works. Jerrie wrote this silky romance with a equal balance of the beginner knowledge of the lifestyle but not so in-depth to which an avid reader (like myself), would become bored with the material.
One star is left off only to which I wish that more of a suspense was added of her ex-boyfriend. But truly, Come Hard was an enjoyable, sexy romance to dive into.

I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and flowed great. Morgan receives a call at 3 am after parting all night. She left her wallet at the night club she had attended, so she hops in her car in her pj’s to go retrieve it. This is where she meets Zack, a drop dead hot hunk. He convinces her to dinner, and tells her about the other clubs he is co-owner of, including Silken. This is her journey of learning of a whole new world.
I am looking forward to the rest of this series.

Easy to read story. Zack meets Morgan at one of his clubs one night. He’s intrigued by her and asks her out for the next night. A lot happens that first weekend together. They start laying a foundation of a Dom/sub relationship and maybe a real relationship too. I’m interested in learning more about their friends in the coming stories.
There wasn’t much angst or issues keeping them apart, which wasn’t so bad. It’s nice to have a story just evolve from real feelings and not based on trying to be what the other wants.

This story is the perfect start to a new series, with interesting characters, great world-building, and lots of hot and steamy scenes that will leave you wanting more. Zack is a self-made man who admits hes a Dom and owns a very exclusive members-only club named Club Silken. He meets Morgan at a bar after she loses her wallet and things quickly heat up. Neither is looking for a permanent relationship but fate has other ideas. A fun and fast-paced novel that will definitely have you wanting more

One hell of a read. I received an ARC copy and my honest review SCORCHING. This author has set the bar at what characters are suppose to behave or misbehave in an erotic book. I could not put it down, lost some serious sleep and call center customers could not tear me away from this book. Cannot wait for #2 to hit my inbox.

Thoroughly enjoyed the layout of this erotica novel. It followed a storyline that I quite like, and thankfully held minimal conflict, which can at times detract from the overall plot. These members-only club style settings have been part of my recent reads, and it's been very interesting. The relationship between Nick and Morgan was sweet (even in their dom/sub personas), even if it did feel like their feelings were developed a little rushed in the beginning. The friendship with Chelsea and Kayla was nice to see, since a support network is important. I'm looking forward to Come Hot to see where Kayla and Nick's relationship goes.

I really like this book. It is usually not the genre I would read. But it was written in good taste. Plus Zack is not hard to read. I love the chemistry between Zack and Morgan. Ms Alexander is one of my favorite author and has never disappointed me. Great job can't wait to read more!

Zack meets Morgan and sparks fly, but Zack isn’t into relationships. He just wants to enjoy Morgan and show her some new experiences at his club. What will happen when he wants more? Fast-paced, sizzling read with loads of drama, suspense and intense chemistry. Great characters and one steamy read. I really liked it.
