For hundreds of years, there have been rumors of a mysterious family that once dominated England. Some say that the Langfords were the power behind the thrones of some of the country's greatest monarchs. But if they really existed, what was their secret? And why did they suddenly vanish? Setting out to track down her long-lost family, Chrissy Langford has no idea that she's about to be plunged into a nightmare. Far out in the English countryside, Langford Hall stands remote and ignored, yet four Langfords still live there. These four survivors guard many secrets, but how will they react when they discover that another member of their family is coming to find them? The Curse of the Langfords is a horror story about a hidden dynasty, a tragic curse, and a family doomed by the strength of its own blood.

I like this idea, it actually made me feel sick as I imagined certain scenes. However I'm only half way through and seriously irritated with the lack of concentration to whoever proof read this. Names constantly in the wrong chapters. So much left unsaid , whereas in any kind of real life there would have been so much more skepticism. But mainly just the name mess ups....change your editor? Get a couple of GOOD proof readers? I don't know, but it's so distracting from the story
I really am at a loss as to how I can accurately summarise my feelings about this book. Weird doesn't even come close. Was there some hidden meaning to the story or was Amy Cross playing a practical joke on her readers? This highly improbable tale had me hooked from start to finish but, it really was bonkers.
I found the book intriguing when I started to read. After getting over the two heads drama the book became a little repitive until the last few chapters when Rebecca turned up at the house.then it got interesting. I'd like a follow-up to see how Chrissie handles the future? Any chance??
I have to say I was really disappointed by this book The story started off so very well and hooked me. Once the main family were brought into the story The whole book fell away. I read Amy Cross stories All the time. This is the worst I have read
I just finished this book and it really wasn't that great of a book to begin with. The plot of the story was at most not believe able since people with 2 heads do not exist. Not really my cup of tea. Would not recommend this book to anyone.
Wow. I’m gobsmacked that this book was ever published. I’ve never read a book so ridiculous and far fetched before. I kept reading because it’s very short, but my god, don’t bother! It’s also in need of an editor and copy checker. Desperate!
