Project do my £0.00 eBook purchases deserve space on my kindle? That'd be a nope on this count.
First of Kat Obie books, poorly written, characters made no sense, also plenty of ick factor. This is 1/4 "purchased" by the author, I wont be touching the other 3.
Please stop writing mutual pining that has been going on for years, there previously being a babysitting element, there being a 6 year age difference AND the youngest is still only 18. That all adds to the nah.

Short and Sweet next generation of the Sound team. It's nice to see what happened to the old Characters (Scotty, Alice, Lager and more!) If you haven't Read the Sound Series first you may want to on order to live this book on a deeper level.

Loved this story. Klaus and Alex have always been close. Their families are close. With a slight age difference and K getting drafted, they didn't see each other as often, but it didn't stop the feelings these two had for each other. I loved how Alex's dad forbid her from dating anyone on the team yet pushed them together. A sweet read.

This about the kids we read about in Loving the Sound. Their Dads were part of the Cleveland Sound pro hockey team.
Klaus is Andreas Lagerfield's son and has followed in his dad's footsteps playing pro hockey and he's now back in Cleveland playing for the Sound and being coached by his dad's best friend Scott Wheiland aka Uncle Scotty. Klaus has always loved Scotty's daughter Alexandra better known as Lexi even though there is a 6 yr age difference. Lexi is a figure skater and Klaus has followed her career for years. Scott wants Klaus to train with his daughter to help her out. He is thrilled but Lexi has always seen Klaus as a big brother or has she?
I love seeing the interaction between these two. I would have loved a longer story line for them. I'm laughing at the interactions with the parents and how "forward" they are.

Fun, quick read
I love really quick reads. This book is a perfect introduction to a novella series. Each book tells one story. Technically they are in a series but it doesn't appear like they have to be read in order although it's likely best if you do simply because of the number of characters that will weave in and out of the stories.

I barely know what I just read. I had to force myself to finish this. I thought the main characters were both high schoolers by the way they interacted at first until I learned their true ages. The parents felt immature, teenager-like.

Cute, but definitely an example of why literature teachers tell you to SHOW the reader. Some of the descriptions were very flat and felt like something a teenager would write. Would’ve DNF’d if it hadn’t been so short.

This was a quick read, and I was able to get into it pretty quickly. I feel like it just ended, but I saw we have a short story that finishes Alex and K's story. I get Alex's dad is protective of her, but some of the scenes were a little awkward. Im glad she was able to talk him down when he got mad at K for asking her out. Especially since her dad pushed for it.

Cute story. Klause is a hockey player, playing professional under coach Scotty, who also happens to be his dads best friend from their hockey days. But the worst being he is the daughter of his long time friend and secret crush. Although not so secret as he learned. Alex has loved K forever and is so happy that he is back in the fold. They are adorable together. Loved how she set her dad straight. Too funny.

Not what i was expecting, "Hockey Hottie" ? not so sure about that. The novel i feel lost the point, and seemed to revolve more around the fathers of the pair. As they were bank on getting them together, but then the father struggled with letting some one date his daughter... Love the 80s movies reference with regards to Halloween costumes. Labyrinth is always a great choice!

It's a short, quick read.
I love the writing style and easily fell into the story.
But there are a couple things I hated.
The sex scenes use terms that just make me cringe. It's the kind of scene where they want to be detailed, but using the more discreet terms. Yuck. Just yuck.
Second, omg, there's an incident that happens, but in this book, it's completely just a background event, only to move the story ahead. And for me that just doesn't make sense. I needed more details. It's crazy that even coach didn't talk about it more.
Third, there is a major time line issue for me.
How can they be woken up, go where they go, and still have time to come back and sleep more? That makes no sense and distracted me completely.

Communication Is Important -
Alex and Klaus had been crushing on each other for a while, but it took their parents acting as matchmakers to get them to do anything. However, just as they acknowledged their feelings for each other, they found themselves drawn into a chaotic situation and Alex’s dad wasn’t happy with them. Luckily, they were able resolve the issue and get on with their relationship happily. This short story was a fun read, that I enjoyed reading. This author is new to me, but I will definitely be reading more of her books.

Yikes this was bad. The characters were flat and cheesy with male characters that read like female characters, and I thought the main characters were high school age until we learn otherwise. The age part adds a yuck element and so do parents who are entirely too invested and involved in their offspring's sex lives. This will be the one and only book from this author that I will read, her style doesn't mix well with my taste.

I felt that this was an amazing friends to lovers short read. I loved how Klaus was worried about Alex’s dad at the beginning just to realize that he wanted them together all along. One of the parts that made me laugh the most in the book though was when Klaus told his father that he and Alex’s dad gossip more than their wives. Overall I loved this short read it was adorable, slightly spicy, funny, had no second act break up (which I was very happy about), and it was friends to lovers one of my favorite tropes.

Cute
This story is a cute, quick, fun read. The FMC and MMC clearly love each other and are supportive of each other. That said, the writing is very basic and the way they react very casually to a horrible event that happens to one of his teammates isn't relatable at all. Steam is minimal.

A quick read. Friends for a long time, Klaus was pushed to help Alex train by her father, his coach. Sparks flared between them, one date a test, and now they were more. I enjoyed this story, though I would have loved to spend more time getting to know this couple. It was definitely a fun story.

I liked catching up with the Sound kids. I liked K and Alex. I thought the dads machinations to get the together were a bit weird. But it was entertaining nonetheless. I'd have liked it more if it was longer and had more in it.
