In the year 2054, earth has become an inter-galactic outpost for trade among friendly planets.

The potential rewards in this new era are great, but so are the risks. An alien drug called Fellirex has recently saturated the black market. It's cheap and highly addictive, and in few weeks, half the world's population could become addicts.

From across the globe, the world's finest are gathered to end the smuggling of this drug. Lieutenant Wolfe, a young and attractive special operations officer, seems completely out of place among the heroes and decorated veterans.

Much to the frustration of her commanding officer, she is given an assignment, and her teammate is almost immediately, critically wounded. A detective takes a chance and volunteers to team up with the seemly erratic young woman. However, it is not long before he questions that decision.

Trapped on a wild and hazardous journey across the globe and into space itself, the detective realizes Grace may not be who he thought she was. In fact, Grace herself appears to question her true intentions and motives.

Oliver served as a Paratrooper in the United States Army and studied at MSC. In the late 1980s through mid 90s Oliver pursued his love of music. He enjoyed traveling, playing percussion and writing lyrics for popular bands. During this time Oliver also began writing short stories and articles.

After playing for thousands through the fall and winter of 1996 Oliver's band abruptly disbanded. In early spring of 1997 Oliver along with a good friend who was a guitarist got together with the intention to form a new group. But rather than form a new band the two put together an expedition plan for traveling to Northern Canada and Alaska in order to prospect for gold.

Leaving in April of 1997 Oliver and company traveled up the historic AL-CAN highway. After exploring the Yukon and Northwest territories of Canada as well as the Arctic Circle the team traveled over the Top of the World highway to Alaska.

1999-2000 Oliver traveled through Asia, visiting Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan among other countries.

In 2004 Oliver published his first book and continues to write books, articles and short stories. Currently Oliver and family reside happily in the U.S.

I started reading this book thinking I might read a chapter or two, but, wow, I just could not put it down. It's an easy read, full of action and is also fast paced. Oh and did I mention a lot of laughs along the way? Great story and writing. I'm looking forward to reading more from Mr. Phipps.

I’m probably one of the big fans of Oliver’s works! I mean how can you not be? When he brings you something incredible every time he publishes a new book? And let’s be honest, every time he tries to go into a new direction, and every time it’s something marvelous!

But let’s move to the books itself, shall we? If you’re a fan of sci-fi buckle up, and let’s get this show rolling! You’re in it for some amazing characters! Especially lieutenant Wolfe! She was my soul mate! (No exaggeration here!) she screamed a fantastic character right from the beginning, and she never disappointed me, okay, wrong, the story ended, and i was disappointed, (so i shout out to my fellow fans and Oliver, let’s give our favourite character another scene to shine!!!) (i think i’m getting off track here...)

So in short, (because if in long, it’s better i make a video review, so you can hear me rant for hours) Sane Grace is a phenomenal book, full of amazing humor, amazing writing and plot twists (i still hate how someone became such a wuzz (no spoilers, so i’m not saying any names)), character development and a story that captivates you from the first page and never lets you go!

Ready for a journey of your life? In this COVID filled world where you can’t travel? Then this book is what you need! Get transported through space and time to solve a mystery and a case, which may not be as straightforward as it seems!

P.S. fellow fans, let’s make a group and chat about our favoruite parts! I’m serious here! 😸

I love this author's work and this has to be the best yet. Great story with a great protagonist. Grace is sassy and super cool! Love how she goes from one situation to the next, all by the seat of her pants... so it seems. I'm looking forward to the next book by Oliver Phipps.

Recommended a 100%

Sane Grace is one exciting sci-fi with lots of twists and humor in the right places. If you like a strong female lead with high intelligence and a whole lot of skills, this is the book for you.

I liked everything about Sane Grace - the characters, the plot, and the cover. It was one exciting read and I will surely read more books from Oliver Phipps.

But be warned, the story will glue you to the book! When you start reading, you won't be able to put it down!

I really enjoyed reading and visualizing the organic beauty of nature and other forms of life in this book. Even though life started lifin, the ease felt from God creations is real and was noticed. The resilience of the main character is inspiring. I really enjoyed the ending. Thanks for a good read.

I really enjoyed this book. Not your typical murder mystery. The alternate history was very interesting and I'd love to read more like it.
