Had potential but bad editing and constant recapping spoilt it.

I struggled with the previous book Wulf (mainly the editing, or lack of it) but despite that there was enough to make me want to continue on.

The editing continued to be a problem and made reading difficult at times and I must admit I resorted to skimming at times.

“He told me that Vercin had found Brandr’s mate and somehow that had something with what was on the dart....”

I’m not usually that picky with editing but constant missing words, wrong words and stilted conversations got to me after a while.

I suspect this is a new author and so I don’t want to be too critical especially since the idea is good and this series has potential but it wasn’t just the editing I had another huge problem.

The constant recapping.
This drove me nuts if a reader wants to know what happened in the previous book they can read it don’t spoil this one.

This book is more of the same this time it’s Bjarni that finds his mate right under his nose, we also have the Keres MC plus the human stalker we also meet who I assume will be Draco’s mate as well plus Brandr’s, these guys are dropping like flies.

For all their skills and technology they seem to be constantly outmanoeuvred which gets annoying after a while. There’s also a huge TSTL moment from Jas and Gabriela which didn’t help yet still I’m still in two minds about continuing on but ultimately it’s the thought of the recapping that’s making this a no.

I really hate giving this only 2* but in all honesty I can’t give more.

Loved the second book of the Elementals MC but it's better if you read the first book beforehand. The suspense kept me interested the whole entire book and the romance was fantastic. I am really looking forward to the third book.

I wasn’t very pleased with this book. I am not a fan of Bjarni, since he sort just assumes that Gabriela, his old lady/ girlfriend/ wife is going to give up all other dreams, aspirations, job or career options in order to be their devoted lover. I am all for falling in love, but not about being replaced by a pod person that only thinks about the significant other and loses all drive that made them who they were before. The possessiveness, the trying to make decisions for the other person without 1st asking if it’s okay. Okay and what is up with the Jezebels? Like why name them Jezebels? Hey it’s totally okay for a modern woman to like sex and not be labeled a Jezebel. They all live together. Bjarni has slept with a lot of Jezebels then brings his old Lady to live with him and all the Jezebels. And then Gabriela's the one who apologizes, when it’s his freaking fault. WTF!!!

Between Gabriela's gift, and the fact that these men has magical powers over the elements and have lived for centuries I think that it could have been way better. It fell short.

Thanks to netgalley.com for the ARC of this book.
This is a new author and genre of book for me to read and I can say that I enjoyed it very much. The possessive, have to always have my girl sit on my lap, or hold on to her throughout the book was great. It really showed how much he wanted to be around her and it didn't matter who was around. He really just wanted to show her affection all the time. I love that aspect of this book. The closeness and bond between the members of the MC was so good, like these guys really did have each other backs and it wasn't just for show. What happen to the bakery? What happen to her house where she lived before she met Bjarni? There are a few loose ends but otherwise this was a really easy book to get lost in and caught up in all the drama going on with the club.

Yes to Bjarni!!!

Bjarni book two of Ferreira's Elementals Series. Its oh so good. Bjarni is the SOA of the MC, he is as big as a bear and loves his food. Gabriella is his mate she owns a bakery, her and Jasmine become friends which will bring Gabriella into MC life. Her life will change in every way but Bjarni has her in his sites and he will not let her go. Bjarni is more in depth than Wulf book one was. Wulf's book introduces the reader to the MC and what the Elementals stand for who they are. Bjarni's story gives us more information into this world Ferreira has created. This story has suspense, humor and sexy time between the sheets that will make your toes curl. This series needs to be read in order , it's a paranormal MC romance and I highly recommend it. Happy Reading!!

I swear to all that is Holy,if I had to see “Baby girl” just one more time....

Dear lord, why does any one think calling a grown woman,” baby girl,” ad nauseam ,is cute much less sexy ?
Seriously the H calls Gabriela “baby girl” soo often I think if you made it a drinking game and had a shot every time you’d be beyond drunk in less than two chapters!
Call her Gabi if you must but dear god, stop calling her baby girl!!!!!!
Ok, honestly as bad as Wulf was w/the overly macho displays,Bjarni felt worse .... much worse all the idiots seem to do is have sex, freak the hell out if any male touches “their woman” ( Me,Hulk SMASH!!!!) every time any male touches me “their women” no matter how innocent it is or how needed it might be.....
Dear lord it was stupid, these men acted like hot heads just waiting for an excuse to blow up and still there is little to no backstory or world building ....
I thought maybe I was learning where maybe were in the world or at least what continent they were on when someone mentioned they had lived in “Cape Town” soo I thought South Africa ? But then someone thought about how one of the guys looked like he was of Apache decent and I saw the F. B. I. mentioned all the time like suddenly had remembered they had in the last book, soo I thought as old as these guys tend to be Apache dissent or not he couldn’t move to South Africa but the FBI ? No, that has to be in America....
Nature Valley ?
What ? do they live in a town where granola is made ?
Seriously all the guys seem to do is F, fight, and constantly lose their stuff over someone daring to touch or look crossed at their women ...
Now come on I want a warm, loving, and strong alpha type myself, I really do but these men are over protective to the point where I think even a Jewish “smother mother” like I’ve seen on the “Goldberg’s” would be like “damn, your smothering her” !
These women despite in past troubles or ills should be allowed to be strong and stretch their wings not wrapped up in cotton wool and set off and protect like a cross between veal and a brood mare or one those women in proper Victorian historical romances where the woman is sent off to rest out in the country the whole time she’s pregnant.....
The term “clean romance” will have me running from a book in a heart beat but I don’t just want a series of sex scenes either and that’s all you have with these couples soo far,the men are either over reacting, over protecting m or over sexing and dear lord it got to be soo damn boring I was skimming the sex scenes and trying to scream when that idiot Bjarni was calling Gabriela “baby girl” for what felt like the hundred millionth time, I almost started to throw up,a little after a while ;(

If they tried to develop a relationship and do some world building instead of his uga uga, caveman, drag her to my cave , while we guess at what all being an Elemental means etc. this might be good but there is too much left unknown and what is , is sickeningly redundant.....
I recommend only if you want sex over plot and you have Kindle unlimited....

Yet another wonderful piece to the Elemental MC series

Just as I was expecting, the follow-up to Wulf had everything I was expecting and more. I can relate to Bjarni in that he's big in size and width but as scary as he may seem, he's a big teddy bear, like me! The story revolves around Bjarni as he discovers his mate Gabriella in Jasmine's favorite bakery. She has a gift that causes her not to want physical touch from others and has a obsessed, rich ex-boss stalking her. Add this in with the passion and possessive nature that mates have, it causes more tension for everyone as the rival MC Keres are playing cat and mouse with them. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series and can't wait for the next book, even though I know I will have trouble with it because I can see it becoming one of the more emotional and heart-retching of this magnificent series. I highly recommend this one, so why are you still reading this? Buy it already! Great job Alexi Ferreira!

This is the second book in the Elementals MC series by Alexi Ferreira, and just like the first I didn't love it, but I did like it.

Slight pushing away from the H in the beginning, as he wasn't sure he was ready for a mate, but it didn't last long.

Like the first, minus a few hiccups this was a good read.

I will continue onto the next in the series.

3 big stars!

BJARNI by Alexi Ferreira is Book Two in the Elementals MC series. This is the story of Bjarni and Gabriele. I haven't yet read the previous book but really feel that I should have...don't get me wrong this can be a standalone book. But I just felt that I would have liked to get into this series from the beginning so I will be going back to try and find the first book.
Bjarni is apart of the Elementals MC group who aren't quite human where Gabriele is a human. But Gabi has the ability to touch people and see there future.
Gabi has return to her father's bakery now that he has past to try and make a go of it there. She meets a women named Jas and they become friends. Jas is always escorted by some hot guys when she comes into the bakery one sometimes is Bjarmi but he is never friendly. But when Jas ask her to attend a party that they are having this opens up more than just enjoying the party with Jas.

👍👍👍👍👍

Okay I couldn't stop reading this book the second I start after I finished Wulf's story. I love everything about these guys, the way they love their mate, the possessiveness they have, the way they are there for each other. I'm about to start the 3rd book and I already know I'm hook on these guys.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bjarni and Gabriele are mates, soulmates...she just doesn't know it yet...

Gabriele has returned home and after the death of her father is running the family bakery. She is a fantastic baker and is building the business up nicely, enough where she can hire other's to help. She meets Jasmine when a pregnant Jasmine starts coming to her bakery almost daily to get the brownies she loves. Jas always comes in "protected" with some of the most gorgeous men Gabi has ever seen! One in particular, Bjarni, always grabs her attention but he barely speaks to her.

One day Jas invites Gabi to a party the MC is having. Jas is as close to a friend Gabi has so she decides to go. This day will change her life...

Can she and Bjarni make it? Will they survive the turmoil the Keres MC creates?

I really liked the premise of this book, Paranormal and MC meet. Gabi is psychic and can "see" parts of peoples lives when she touches them. This can be very unpleasant so she avoids touching people. Bjarni and the rest of the MC are Elementals, centuries old and have the powers of one of the Earth's elements.

While they do mate...Bjarni doesn't really explain it all to Gabi so of course this causes dissention between the two of them. Gabi is also pretty feisty and doesn't really have a problem expressing her opinions. Gabi also doesn't always think about what she is saying, it just comes out of her mouth, and it was pretty comical.

The story is set in S. Africa and the difference in the way the author phrased some words/sentences really got to me. Example, although not verbatim from the book... Bjarni says "I must go and stop...." where an American biker would say "I gotta go stop". I mean really, when I read the sentence I felt like he was holding a tiny tea cup...

There was also a good amount of repetition. There was a sentence or two that I felt I saw every couple of pages...

As I said, I love the concept and the story was good but couldn't get past these other things.

This is my second book with this author and this doesn't detract too much from the prior book in the series. We have Bjarni who meets his mate at a bakery that Jasmine (from the previous book) has been going to because she is craving brownies. This is where Bjarni meets his mate. Again, once they meet their mate, it is instantaneous and they have to claim them right away. Each mate has a special gift that makes them unique to one of the Elemental MC's. Bjarni's element is Earth and Gabriela, his mate, can see past or future events, when she touches someone. I thought I would have liked Bjarni's book better but those Jezebels, (human women that are in the MC club for the Elementals to pleasure, even in public sometimes) are about the only angst that happens between H and h, and they drive me insane. I mean I know why they have to be on the book, because of this MC theme, but I do not like them at all. Yuck! They are still warring with the Keres MC's and there is a spy in their midst that they still cannot ferret out. I have figured out who the real traitor is, by the way.
I really wished I could have liked Bjarni's book better but I didn't. I liked it enough that I am going to read Brandr's book next, even though the writing isn't that much better. Too many repetitions and the storyline is all over the place. For some reason, I am drawn to keep reading them, Lol. I do love the guys, because once they meet their mates, they are all in and I guess that's why I keep reading. The love they have for their mate is EXCEPTIONAL and NO ONE gets in between that!

This is a fantasy book about a group of men in an MC who are ‘elements’ and can control elements within the world. Gabriela is a human who happens to see people’s futures when she touches them. Because of this, she avoids touching people. She is a baker and quickly becomes friends with Jasmine (from the first book) whenever she comes into her bakery for her daily brownie. Jasmine is always guarded and this is how she meets Bjarni. Long story short, Gabriela is Bjarni’s mate. He is extremely protective of her and is the ultimate alpha male. The love story between the two characters was sweet and sincere and was written well. I enjoyed reading when it was a scene with them together.
This is my first book from this author and this is book 2 in the series. Without reading the first book, it was easy to understand the story. I do think if I had read book 1 first I would have known a little more useful information to the story line. Since I didn’t read the first book, I had a hard time getting into this book - it actually took me a few chapters for me to start enjoying it. Maybe this book needs a quick summary (more then what is already there) in the first few chapters. I would still recommend this story to someone who enjoy paranormal books.

Good try but needs work

I struggled to read this book. I powered through Wulf's story, even with the editing and writing mistakes. I personally love to read paranormal romances. This author has tried to write a paranormal MC romance. But sadly, the author seems to be in way over their head. The MC is tossed into the sub-par plot line, to snag the reader's attention. I liked the characters, but not enough to choke down another book by this author.

How can these so called elementals, with some freaking awesome powers, be outwitted by criminal humans? Especially, when it's done the same way each time?

The story as a whole was a great thought however the deliverance was not. I found it lacking in character development and was confused some of the time.
I loved the idea of an MC filled with paranormal manly specimans and mates who are their forever.
I found the characters quite stark and uninteresting.
The mc as a whole seemed to be added as a hook but delivered poorly, no research just the basics from every other mc book out there.
The recapping of events that would have been better to be left out..
The editing needs some work also.
I will not be continuing on with this series.

Brilliant MC paranormal crossover

Second book in the elementals MC series and I just cannot stop reading! Each character is well written and developed throughout the story with a plot line that keeps you guessing. I love the MC cross paranormal element to this series it is so fresh and interesting. Bjarni and Gabriela are so incredible and their journey is wonderful to read full of heartfelt emotions, spicy heat and dangerous action. Delighted to find this gem of a series!

Each Story Blends Into The Next

Each story leads to the other. You get to see how these big alpha warriors have each other's back and turn into over protective teddy bears with their women. Their women in the other hand take care of their men and put them in their place ( sometimes a lot depending on their mate😋).I want to read Draco's story.

Bjarni is a big teddy bear. He is unsure he is ready for a mate at first. Gabriela is not use to people touching her. Then she finds a whole group of people she can touch without drawbacks to herself. They both have explosive anger so it’s a good thing they love each other.

This is the second book in the series and I received a ton of laughs. Another series to enjoy with these bad bikers who are possessive and protective. Gabriela and Bjarni were an awesome pair to put together for a guy who rarely laughed in the first book.
