ASHES

Rate this book
Ashes, is a poetical journey taking a glimpse into suicide, depression, abuse and love. Most people end up losing hope in this game called life. We fall in love, we break down, and we wither away. Sometimes we fall into an abyss so dark it is almost impossible to escape from. This is not a story about giving hope or telling you to be a different person, but rather the thoughts of someone unable to express how she feels while lost in this oblivion. This is the thoughts of a lost soul trapped in a maladaptive world of day dreaming. This is the thoughts of someone who knows the darkness is there and rather than trying to turn it into light, she communicates with in as if it were just another person like the rest of the world. When your voice has been silenced for so long you know nothing else other than what you have been shown. And even if you do try to move on from the darkness it is futile to leave it behind because it is that darkness that will show us the light.
