Sanguinary Song pulled me out of a total reading slump. Between school and work, I just couldn’t find myself pulled into a story the way that I used to. This book was the one that pulled me back in! From the moment I started reading it, I was hooked. There’s a little bit of something in there for everyone between the mythology, the supernatural, the suspense, and even a bit of romance! This book leaves you wanting more and I cannot wait for the rest of the series!! The world that Andrew has created in this book is fantastic. I also now want to own a sword…

Great World/Story Building

I thoroughly enjoyed the world and story building in this novel, though it needs a bit of cleaning up (grammar/copy editing). The unique take on supernatural mythologies was intriguing. I'm looking forward to the next novel in this series.

I went back and fourth on if I should do this. I see authors comment a lot on their good reads pages and interact with their readers. After careful consideration I wanted to do the same. As I mentioned above am the author of the Sanguinary Series so I do have some bias in the rating for this review.

First off to the reader, thank you so much for reading my book and taking the time to rate it. You are the real heroes and the time you spent to rate the book means a lot to me. Sanguinary Song was a book that originally was based on a spin off my first written series that I created in High School. It transformed into something else entirely into finished product you see today. I was always a fan of the genre and ancient history and mythology. I spent five years researching all of the historical myths, monsters, and entities in order to shape the series into something that seemed familiar but original. The result I hope was a refreshing take on your favorite supernatural creatures while also introducing you to lesser known creatures and new monsters. I also hope that you enjoyed character relationships in the story. I spent a great deal of time trying create relatable and interesting characters that form meaningful relationships.
