Hectic

I understand the themes the author was trying to bring out as many as they were, but in the end, it was all mixed up, the storyline of it plus the grammatic errors as well🤦🏾‍♀️

The book had me gasping for air, crying my eyes out of their sockets and questioning my faith.

After losing his prayerful wife to cancer, Wandile is angry at God. He questions Him everytime something bad happens to him. Just when he's starting to work on his relationship with God, tragedy strikes sending him further away from God.

After facing the darkest time of her life, Wendy seems to be recovering with the help of Anele, the therapist, but sometimes what we need is more than words of encouragement. Anele comes as a strong and firm believer of God and how He does everything for a reason. But for what greater good would it be to allow a 12-year-old to be raped not by one but three guys while her father watches helplessly? What kind of test of faith is this?

In my eyes, Wendy will always be a hero. Sometimes all we need is an easy passage to the other world because some wounds are too deep for doctors or therapists to try and heal.

I understood Wandile's anger, the pain he had gone through clouded everything good in his life and he lost all hope and faith. Sometimes we pray hoping for a certain outcome but God has other plans for us.

Except for typos, reccuring grammatical errors and loose ends, a touching read it was.
