For the lovers of ABDL kink this will be an ultimate treat. Light-hearted, very steamy, sweet and mildly angsty short story happening in England that features a caring Daddy and a mistreated Little who learns to trust again. There are s*exy times and Daddy/Little times in equal measure. And in the end the nasty abuser swine get carted away in the back of the police cruiser! Nice! I recommend it!

Still cute.

-------------------------

Cute short about a boy who just left his abusive Dom, and the daddy who will show him what a real daddy looks like.

Felix thought he found himself a real daddy, but he just found someone who liked to abuse his submissives.

When Felix finally finds the courage to leave he doesn’t know where to go. He ends up in front of Warwick’s house, the daddy who gave him his cards months ago and told him to contact him if he needed help.

When Warwick finds a soaked Felix on his doorstep, he immediately takes him in. Felix can stay as long as he wants.

When Felix finally feels better, he knows Warwick isn’t like Martin, but he’s still afraid to show what he really wants. But of course Warwick already guessed that Felix wants to be little and have a real daddy. Now he just needs to show Felix he can trust him.

This was cute but I do have to admit that the romance could have used some work. I know this is a short, but still, the I love yous came out of nowhere. And even when they started their relationship I wasn’t quite there yet.

But this was still a sweet short and I liked it.

Warwick can’t get his eyes off the young man, his body language shows he’s unhappy. Warwick wished this was his boy instead of Martin Fulbrook’s. Warwick watched them for weeks now at the club, and he doesn’t like what he sees.

After the last abuse, Felix packs his bag and runs from the man who promised to be his Daddy but only hurt him on and on.
After months being away from his abuser, he’s broke, he ends up skinny, hungry, and drenched on Warwick’s doorstep.

Warwick’s wishes come true, not in the way he expected.
He shelters and nurtures Felix and shows him what having a Daddy really means. Felix can’t believe his luck. He finally can be the boy and little he yearns to be.

It seems Martin isn’t finished doing business.

This was a sweet story, the progress of Felix was wonderfully written. Warwick as Daddy was everything, I loved him. I was so happy for him he finally got his boy/little.
All quite attractively written. Some small side stories made it even more complete.
The hurt comfort parts were palpable, for my pleasure it could even be more hurtful, but that’s on me. The story has some appealing sexual encounters.
This narrative was all about and focused on the blooming relationship between Felix and Warwick. Mission accomplished! I love the meaning behind the title!
Overall an enough developed, comfortable paced, sweet abdl Daddy/boy/little hurt comfort story.

I wasn’t impressed. It was too short, therefore, a little too fast paced for me. We got the physical descriptions of the MCs, but something was still lacking. I wasn’t happy with the descriptions we were given. It wasn’t very detailed. For me, I find it hard to connect when that happens.

We are told Felix’s age, but we’re never given Warwick’s age. Umm...why??

Warwick mentions (to himself) a few times his previous boy. His name was Malik (did I spell it right?) . Apparently it’s been a few years since he’s had his boy. They were together like ten years (if I understood that part right). Okay, that’s a significant relationship. What happen to Malik? Did he leave? I’m assuming he died, because Warwick mentions to himself how all of malik’s favorite toys are in the loft. He also thinks to himself that he’ll tell Felix about Malik “sometime.”

Well, my interest was piqued. I wanted to know who this Malik was and what happened to him. Has Warwick experienced heartbreak?

Yet, we’re never told about Malik or what happened to him. There’s no mention of Warwick telling Felix either.

You can’t do that to a reader (at least not a reader like me). Get their interest piqued and then leave them hanging.

I didn’t connect with the book or characters at all. I most likely will not be reading another of JJ Harper’s books.

I was looking for something quick to read and choose this MM Erotic Romance. I went blind with this book. Unfortunately It wasn't the one for me. I loved Warwick and Felix together. But the Daddy/Adult Little Boy play thing turned me off. I felt very uncomfortable reading it. That's why dnf at 40%. I really tryed but I couldn't.

Dark Clouds, Sometimes a Silver Lining!

“Daddy” Warwick offers help to distressed “Boy” Felix, who eventually accepts and a relationship begins. No surprises, the usual tropes, an interesting enough quick read.

I liked it. I love the daddy/little dynamics and the way Warwick cares for Felix. Felix has escaped an abusive relationship and spent three months trying to gain his life back on his own. When that doesn't work he ends up at Warwick's door step. Warwick is a daddy and a nurturer, who lost his boy ages ago. Now he has the chance to build a life with a new little.
While the topic of physical and psychological abuse is there, this a little bit too short story tells how Felix and Warwick meet with charm and fun. It's a joy to watch Felix gain confidence and grow into the person he wants to be. And I really loved that the villain got what he deserved. Karma can be a b*tch sometimes.

***Won an ARC, enjoyed reading it.***

Felix is so damn sweet. What an adorable character. All he wants is a Daddy who will love nurture and care for him.
Warwick is the sexy older Daddy who wants nothing more than to take love and take care of Felix.

This book was super cute and super sweet. I hated what Felix went through with his ex. But, it led him directly to who he should have been with. I loved how patient and caring Warwick was, letting Felix take his time to figure out what he actually wanted and to let Felix take his time to figure out who Warwick really was as a person and that he wasn't in fact horrible like Felix's ex was. We also get the perfect amount of sexy Daddy/boy time in this book making the story flow pretty perfectly. Cute book, just wish it was longer cause I really liked these guys.

I’ve read this author before. This is a mm contemporary novella with a dash of Daddy kink. Main characters are Félix (little) and Warwick (Daddy). Loved the journey these guys made to be together. Still need to know what happened with Melik! I’ll read more from this author.

A good start to the book but not so good for Warwick as he watches Felix with his Dom feeling things ain't right. Written in both POVs with a HEA ending. The protective nature of Warrick kicks in as he helps to care for Felix. A fluffy story of the characters with a kink thrown in for a fast short novella. I didn't connect to the MCs but it was a good Daddy/ Little story.

Warwick has always wanted a certain boy but he belongs to another Dom.
Felix 24 runs from his abusive Dom to the streets but 3 months later he remembers Anything, Anytime.

TENDER LOVING CARE

Daddy Warrick and Little Felix are a study in tender loving care. Felix is in a horrible situation with an abusive man. Warrick has had his eye on Felix with the concern that things were off. Reaching out, he's worried but not surprised when he finds Felix on his porch. The healing process starts immediately. Understanding what they both need is a priority. Sharing this special way of life is what dreams are made of for both of them. This is a BEAUTIFUL story of deep sharing and doing the best to deeply commit to what the other person needs. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!!

Felix wants a true Daddy

Felix was in a bad relationship with Martin Fulbrook. Warwick noticed on numerous occasions at the club and cafe that Felix did not look happy and was worried about him,but did not feel like it was his place to interfere. However when it looks like things are getting worse he manages to slip Felix his contact info during a night at the club.
It was wonderful to read about them and watch how everything evolves. There are some sensitive issues covered (abuse) but they are done in a very kind and sensitive way without graphic details given. All in all a very sweet Daddy/Boy romance with a bit of kink.

Loved the short of Felix and Warwick.
Felix running away from an abusive relationship end up on Warwick's door step remembering that he said 'anything anytime '. Warwick has been waiting for Felix to come to him wondering where he had gone.
The relationship grows between the two men . Felix getting stronger with the love of a daddy.
This extended version opens the story out . Looking forward to Jamie's story and what happens to Martin .

Who was Malik?!

I adored the story. Warwick and Felix were a sweet, sweet couple and I absolutely adored them. The daddy/little play was super sweet and so much fun to read.

The only thing that irked me was this: Warwick mentions his ex-boy Malik so many times, hinting at some big story or reason why he isn't here anymore, but we never find out what happened to him.

I always find author JJ Harper and absolute delight in her storytelling.
This book was no different. I absolutely loved this amazing, sometimes angsty and sad, sometimes cute and humorous story.
I am so drawn to the age-play dynamic, and JJ does it so well.

I did not read the freebie short prior to this extended version, so, for me this book was just perfect in length, backstory, and character development.
I felt the author did an excellent job of setting the stage for the impending relationship between her two MCs.
I found the trauma/drama to be written with great sensitivity in that the reader gets the full story of Felix's past without the details being cumbersome and graphic.

I loved that the 'bad guys' finally got what they deserved and that made this a beautifully rounded tale.
All in all, I award these five stars for a superbly written book and a beautiful story of love and happily ever afters.
Well done, JJ.
Highly recommend!

(my only [tiny] issue, being that we are never told the age of Warwick. This would have made the story even better as it goes a long way to helping the reader relate to the character in question.)

° Standalone
° Dual POV first person present tense
° Heat 3-4 🔥
° Age play (ABDL)
° I received an advance copy of this book directly from the author with no obligation to review. My copy was gifted at my request and this review is voluntary.

A win for me

Oh, I just adored Felix and Daddy Warwick. I only wish the book were longer.

Right from page one, you feel terrible for Felix. He is clearly in a bad situation and it kills Warwick to leave him there. Once Felix is away from Martin, I wish he had gone straight to Warwick, though I understand why he didn’t. The time that Felix had on his own, while sad, helped him to understand and process the things that happened to him. It helped him regain a certain sense of self that I don’t think he could have depended on once he was with Warwick.

Even though this was a fairly short book, I felt like the bond between Felix and Warwick was well developed and genuine. It didn’t feel rushed at all. I loved how Warwick was written as a patient and caring Daddy who knew when to back off and let Felix make his own decisions and when to push and make them for him. This was such a story of healing for Felix. I wish we had learned a little more about Malik and Warwick’s past, but didn’t feel cheated out of the story. I absolutely loved this Daddy and his Boy. A definite hit for JJ Harper.

Well, I don't know what to say here, I love this author, always great stories, but I went in half blind with this book, I guess I didn't read the blurb fully. I thought it was a Daddy/Boy story, which it did seem to be at first, but then it turned into a Daddy/Little situation and I don't like that, It's just not a comfortable read for me. I'm not going to low rate this as it is the authors usual excellence, it's just not my thing. Warwick fascinated me greatly, that is what made me keep reading after the 45 percent mark when things went wrong for me. I was truly squirming as I read the description of Warwick putting a diaper on Felix, I just can't. To each his own and and more power to you if that's your lifestyle, I mean no disrespect. But that aside this was a touching but sad tale, the torture of young men is certainly hard to read, thank goodness for the HEA.

4 1/2 out of 5 stars

I enjoyed this book. I was intrigued especially by the fact that I don't remember an author ever using the title so early in the book, but it was perfect!!

Felix and Warrick were a great couple. They loved each other fiercely and Warrick stepping in and really taking care of Felix warmed my heart a great deal. This is the first time I have read about them, but I can only say that everyone should read this!!!!

Even though it was almost insta-love, it felt so real. The connection between the characters was so strong and I could feel it through the pages! I am so glad to have read this and hope that many, many more will enjoy it, too.

Felix was in an abusive relationship and it hurt Warwick to see it. One day Warwick gave Felix a card and told him “Anything, Anytime”. It gave Felix the courage to escape! Felix ends up on Warwick’s door stoop a few months later. It about broke my heart how Felix hurt. But Warwick had tremendous patience and kindness with Felix. I loved the Daddy/little aspect of the story. The story was well written and just plain fantastic!! I am voluntarily leaving a review from an advanced copy that I was gifted from the author. Thank you so much for letting me read your art. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

I was excited to open up this story and read it, but very quickly it made itself apparent that this book was going to have very little character development and zero individual voices. I felt like these men jumped into their relationship far too quickly and that instead of developing them in their roles with each other the author just had each man state out loud how things would work or happen. I never FELT or event got that they understood how they were moving forward together. Also, the writing left much to be desired as there was nothing distinguishable about either man. This makes me sad and I almost never do this, but I definitely DNF'ed this one.

This first book in the Always series, follows the story of Warner and Felix. Warner notices that there's something not right in the relationship between Felix and his master. And wants to fix it. Meanwhile, after one too many beatings, Felix decides to get away from his abusive master.
He has Warner's card and number, and a promise of "Anything, any time"; but it's by accident that he finds himself holed up one Warner's porch one rainy night.
Warner takes him in and the two develop a sweet daddy/boy relationship. There's an age gap and some angsty moments, but the characters love story shines true. Wish there were more than 2 books in this series. Very well written And fun.

I read this first as the short version after reading the Heavyload! series and finding I love this author. I was very excited to find that the author had expanded on the story of Daddy Warwick and baby boy Felix (love those names) and gives us more steam and even better some closure. Though I was pleased with the ending before where justice is served I like this full version where we see this couple continue in their relationship and help another heal. The men in this couple are drawn to each other instantly but do take their time to move forward since there is some (no small amount of) abuse that must be worked through and Daddy Warrick is there to help his baby boy heal and learn to trust. What draws me to these kinds of stories is the trust and acceptance and gooey sweetness these types of relationships exemplify (at least in writing) and Anything, Anytime doesn't disappoint.

Warwick was always intrigued with Felix but was unable to approach him.
When circumstances changes and Felix happens to come into Warwick’s life, maybe life has given Warwick the chance to be Daddy that Felix so desperately needs.

This quick read will pull you into its storyline with its fascinating characters, sweet plot which has some scenes which can be triggers for some and its lovely HEA.
We do get to meet some new characters whom I’m hoping get to have their story told at some point as well.
A lovely Daddy/boy book to engage yourself in.

Just As Good As First Time I Read Book

I absolutely love hurt/comfort books and this one ticked all the boxes with a big strong daddy and a cute full fledged little with an age gap. I loved the unique name choices for the mc's. I'm sure these are English names as the author lives there and uses several English sayings throughout the book. This was an expansion of the original book was another bonus plus the epilogue and I'm one happy reader. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves ABDL with age gap and all the feels.
