Great modern perspectives on witchy living in the 21st century. Loved the short essays from the variety of authors, and the easy-to-reference 16-month calendar with lunar info for spellwork and rituals in the back!

This is another excellent compilation of articles by fabulous authors. I enjoy reading this each year I get one. Always insightful and offers some fresh ideas as well as ones I needed to remember to do more of again. Great read!

Just finished this year's Witches' Companion. I usually always read it (still have 2021 on the shelf tho, will get to it!) and I always love it. It's full of interesting articles, some of them I skip because it's not my area of interest (one example of this edition was the Marijuana article, not really my cup of te) and others I will annotate and put post its on them to remember them. Overall it's a great Companion and a must in our communities :)

Wonderful companion book on "contemporary living." Each article was enlightening, many of which resonated with me more personally while others I took a general interest in, understanding that it will most likely be needed later on in life. It's a fantastic start to 2022 and I can't wait to come back to these articles and use their knowledge!

tbh I read 40% of this, the practical essays whose techniques I could use right away. But I was moved enough to borrow a book written by one contributor, and have slated for later in the month a project based on the topic of another essay. Change the inner world, the outer world will change as well.

Very nicely written and insightful essays on modern witchcraft. This was easy to understand and offered guidance to those like myself beginning their journey into a spiritual realm I’ve felt drawn to for a long time.

I really really enjoyed this.
The articles were interesting, diverse and well-written. I especially enjoyed the articles about sunflowers, and kitchen witchery. So good. Can't wait for next years!

I don't want to rate too low because I personally like a lot of the authors in this book. Unfortunately, I feel as if this book is no better quality than a series of blog posts that I could have found online for free.

I spent all of my birthday money on Llewellyn's almanacs to test for myself which I though were the most useful (because nothing online helped me figure out which one out of many almanacs would be the ONE to get).

Every review I read made it seem like the Witchs' Companion is must read material year after year, but I don't feel like I gained any new knowledge. Also, if the articles had been done as blog posts instead of a one big book, they would potentially be more timely.
