"Let's Make a Memory" is a book full of ideas for families. While a bit dated (printed in the 1980s), many ideas are still interesting and worthwhile. There is a Christian theme throughout the entire book. One author came from a idealic family background, the other came from a divorced home of an abusive adult. It is interesting to see how both of these grown women have created family time as a adults with their own children.
Many of the ideas can obviously still be used today, howver, many can be modernized to fit the 21st century to keep the interest of some children not interested in 1970s craft or family activities! :)
This is absolutely one of my favourite books. There are anecdotes, great ideas for crafts, and family fun. The book is divided into sections with crafts and activities for the seasons, many holidays, things to do on vacation or when you move to a new home; there's even a section entitled "Ordinary Days". Almost everything in this book is geared toward the entire family, though there are some things just for husbands and wives, certain activities younger children may enjoy more, and things to do for people in one's extended family and in the community. A few things may be considered dated, but nevertheless I highly recommend this book.

Easy read because it's just full of ideas for creating traditions in your family. We've started a couple of the traditions already. It's nicely organized, but the version I read was a little outdated. I borrowed it from the library, but it seems like a book that I may want to own so I can refer back to it on various occasions.
I love this book written by two Christian women. I appreciate the wholesome, value-centered ideas that are meant to bring the family closer together by focussing on the simple joys of life and on each other. It doesn't cost a penny to let your family members know that they are special to you.
SIMPLE and GREAT ways to ENJOY your time with family. Get off your cell phones, moms and dads! Spend time with your children-invest in your future and find some joy in life!
