A Simple Explanation of Absolutely Everything: A Simple Fractal Model of the Conscious Universe

Rate this book
This ten-year edition of “A Simple Explanation of Absolutely Everything” contains new material not included in the previous editions, including expanded sections on evolutionary theory, reincarnation, and meme theory. Every concept in the book is explained thoroughly, using non-academic language for the lay reader. Each page features diagrams and illustrations to make every idea easy to understand and accessible. Plus, this kindle ebook edition contains color illustrations, while the paperback is in black and white. Using only four basic ideas, explained over and over, you will come to see the universe as consciousness itself. If this sort of discussion interests you, you will not find a more engaging and approachable theory of everything. The Simple Explanation of Absolutely Everything brings together science, philosophy, ethics, and religion seamlessly. The Simple Explanation states that every thing comes into our universe as forces produced by the universal algorithm with working instructions that govern its behavior. From particles on up, every piece of material in our universe "knows" how to do its job because it is a local knot of forces and patterns produced by the universal unit of consciousness, and the Universal Unit of Consciousness knows all there is to know about creation because it created it and holds all the formulae. Before any of this came to be, the basic matrix was and is consciousness, known throughout the ages as the One or the Father. Consciousness produced a thought--that thought being a Unit of Consciousness. Our material universe is formed through the will of the Universal Unit of Consciousness and the information and order it provides. In the case of an atom, its particular knot reaches out to other atoms with patterned forces that bond to form molecules. Likewise, molecules reach out to form elements. Life-forms follow the same pattern of reaching out and organelles know how to bond to form cells. Cells know how to bond to form organs. Organs bond to form creatures. Each living Unit of Consciousness is self-aware and knows how to do its own job, whereas the material of which they are made instantiates its knots through the patterned forces directed by the Universal UC. According to the Simple Explanation, our space-time universe rests inside a fractal border that can never be breached. Pure consciousness and the vastness of eternity lie just outside. Each unit of consciousness passes one by one through the portal of here and now, from infinity into space and from eternity into time. We are essentially units of consciousness, each with our own personal time manifesting along with our physical bodies. Time is subjective because each unit of consciousness is a subject with its own point of view. I influence and am influenced by the karmic record generated by my choices and the choices that others have made. I am also influenced by the bundle of memes I and others choose to hold onto, as well as the forces affecting my material body. Although I am influenced by many factors, I always retain my ability to freely choose which decision I will make here and now. That's it in a nutshell. Too much to digest in one gulp. Go ahead and read the book; I promise to explain everything.

A Simple Explanation of the Gnostic Gospel is a clear and eye-opening guide to understanding Gnostic wisdom and the Tripartite Tractate. I really appreciated how the author took something that could easily feel complicated and made it deeply approachable, laying it out from the very beginning of creation through to the ultimate purpose of our lives. Reading this gave me a fresh sense of peace and a deeper connection to spiritual truths that somehow already felt familiar, and I enjoyed the way it encouraged me to reflect on my own place in the bigger cosmic story.

A great addition to the perennial philosophy, with interesting inclusions of Tibetan Buddhism and Jung. The author does well to explain this cosmology, frequently going over progress made. Practically speaking, the suggested practice seems to be one of belief in salvation from the Christ, leading to greater peace of mind, and a commitment to the simple golden rule: working with other beings for the good of the whole in order to glorify God.

✨ If your soul’s been feeling a little homesick, this book is basically its GPS back to where it belongs! I picked up A Simple Explanation of the Gnostic Gospel thinking it might be heavy, but wow—it’s like talking to a super wise friend who’s just explaining what’s always been sitting quietly inside you. 🤯💬 It’s deep, it’s cozy, and it totally blew my mind (in the best way). If you’ve ever wondered if you’re meant for more (spoiler: you ARE), you seriously need to read this. 🕊️📖
