I've come across chef RV from Facebook with his easy to follow recipes with a dash of encouragements in life. Tried his Baked Cheesecake, it was awesome! I discovered he has this recipe books and the bookworm inside me wants it. hehe.
The recipe included in this book are mostly doable in the Philippines but some have a very hard to find ingredients like with the poppy seeds, apricot recipes. There are some typo I found in the recipes and I'm kind of a little disapointed considering the copy I have is already 11th printing. They could correct it before reprinting. There is a recipe that skipped an ingredient. I mean it is included in the list but didn't mention it on the procedure. For a no experience learning baker it may spark confusion and frustration. There are recipes in the cake section that din't mention what kind of pan (round or square) is needed just the size. Yes the shape matters as the volume with the same size will be different.
Hoping the 2nd book have improvements and will continue to inspire more home bakers.
