Feather Dan, a small orange cat, had no idea that he would have his greatest adventure after he died. After all, the land of the Rainbow Bridge was perfect. It was peaceful and filled with love where pets waited on humans to join them so they could travel together to the Beyond. Having been a celebrity on Earth, Dan frequently found himself helping other cats make their journey across the Rainbow Bridge. Such was the case on the day that everything went wrong.As Dan greets Remy and shows him around he makes an alarming discovery. Siamese twins have run off with a Native American headdress. Unaware of the artifacts powers the twins have inadvertently summoned living Earth Cats who must be returned home. Tragedy strikes when the twins summon a viscous Earth panther named Tremor. Terrible and cruel, Tremor sets out to seize control of the Rainbow Bridge and stop all in the realm from reuniting with their humans.The fate of Rainbow Bridge now at stake, Feather Dan, together with Remy and a close group of companions, embark on a daring journey into the clouds in hopes of recovering the headdress and setting things right. Never before looked to as a leader, Dan doubts his ability to do what's needed. He must find a way to face his darkest fears as he leads this unlikely group of warriors to defeat the panther. Will he have the courage to do what's needed, even if it means sacrificing everything he knows?
