The Rock Biopic



- i like that the book is called Who is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson because ill never say his name without the nickname in the middle. It sounds wrong to me

- “his powerful, muscular body smashes into the glass wall as his mighty hands grip the window ledge.” IM SORRY is this a dwayne “the rock” johnson wattpad story or what??? This is literally the first page

- apparently his eyebrow raise is called “The People’s Eyebrow” and is, and i quote, “a crowd-pleasing facial expression”

- apparently he’s mentioned running for president?

- his nickname came from his father, whose name was Rocky

- it mentions that he’s hoping to produce a movie called “black adam”. Hope it gets off the ground 🙏

- my life has definitely been improved by reading this

A great introduction for fans of this big movie star. Easy and fast read. I didn't know that he had very humble beginnings and his tattoos have meanings in the Samoan culture. Apparently he's very down to earth and philanthropic.

Includes a timeline at the end of his life and major world events that occurred at the same time as his milestones.

I always love learning something new . Dwayne has an interesting background but what will really stick with me is his appreciation of his culture and love for family and charity work.

As a Reading teacher, I think my students would enjoy reading this book. The vocabulary for the book is pretty manageable for struggling readers. The life story in short about Dwayne Johnson and his dreams is one students could relate to. A simple book for students to comprehend and possibly peak their interest.

This is a very fun and easy book to read. This book goes through his life as a actor and his rejection. Also as a football player and wrestler and his rejection. This is a book about his life. As a girl who as to take non-fiction test. 5 of them per quarter! It is hard to find quick books to read but let me tell you, this one is easy. It is only 50 pages. I love this book for any ages!

Interesting and short I just didn’t care for parts of the wrestling moments. I would have loved to learn more about his experience with being in the acting world and such a popular celebrity.
