If you are intuitive and have a dangerous level of white guilt you'll probably love this book. If, however, you don't suffer from white guilt you'll hate this book.
I don't suffer from white guilt, so this book was a painful listen and made me reassess whether I think women like Natalie actually should be allowed to vote. She's a victim of the femtarded propaganda that she's an oppressed minority and she's part of the new uprising who will smash the patriarchy and free the oppressed POCs. Joe Biden probably has dementia, but he's still smarter than this deluded woman. When Joe Biden told Charlemagne "you aint black if you don't vote for me" and then a couple of days later the George Floyd scandal blew up a truly intuitive Natalie would have sensed something was amiss. But Natalie is just a silly woman so she missed it.
Just like she probably missed the MeToo scandal of MeToo refusing to listen to Joe's accuser. Just like she probably missed the stats on how many black people died before St George and how many are dying now.
I don't feel the slightest bit of guilt over slavery. When Britain traded in slaves the country was great. Britain also saw the error in its ways and fought to end slavery. So guilt over slavery, I just don't have any. But I do feel guilt that the disgusting recent governments of the UK and US have waged stupid, pointless wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. And I am enraged how the present governments of the UK and US turn a blind eye on just where interracial violence is directed and instead focus on the outliers like Stephen Lawrence and George Floyd.
The death of George Floyd could have resulted in something positive. Instead, we got months of riots and over 30 "mostly peaceful" deaths. We now have the leader of the free world struggling to complete a sentence and thousands of Ukrainians being killed in a stupid war to weaken Russia. Maybe Hunter Biden becoming a billionaire and still refusing to pay for the daughter he had with the stripper will wake Natalie up, but I doubt it.

I think this book definitely had value as part of my journey, but I felt there wasn't as much of practical usefulness as I'd hoped. I guess I'd hoped to nail things down in a practical way a little more. I thought it was funny that the introduction talked about people being put off discussing intuition because it seemed "woo" but then the book went on to be pretty deep in woo town itself, with talk of Spirit Teams, connecting with ancestors, protecting yourself from energetic attack, etc. I am pretty woo myself so this is fine with me but it would be silly to pretend it's not woo. I did feel the book felt at times a little self consciously woke, something about being preached to about cultural appropriation add indigeneity by an overly humble fellow white lady was a bit grating for me.
There is always value in spending time on books like this that celebrate and solidify connection with Spirit/Self (I did like the use of the infinity symbol for this ephemeral concept). Somehow I was just wanting a little more about HOW to practically connect with intuition, beyond "just listen and trust".
I love this book so much. A practical guide to reclaiming your intuition. Meditations and practices for increased listening, observation, and awareness. I will reference this in the future as well!
Natalie makes approaching spirituality so simple and explains things in a way that anyone can resonate with. She is not overly “woo woo” and allows the reader to use their own language and interpretation on how they relate to the spiritual side of life. I especially appreciate her views on being consciously intuitive and educating us on how to buy ethically, and handle our spiritual practices in a way that doesn’t culturally appropriate. She even gives tips on how to call on the strength of certain crystals without having to actually buy them. Which is great, as not everyone is privileged enough to be able to afford such expensive tools. In short, she makes reactivating your intuitive gifts something that anyone can feel comfortable and able to do.
This book crossed my path in the beginning of 2022, and it was exactly what I needed to read at that moment in time. It invited me to trust my intuition in a way that is unique to my being. Natalie’s words brought deep nurture and revelation to my soul.
