Impactful service? More meaningful relationships? You can have anything that you want in life when you discover the secret contained in Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. Originally published in 1937, Think and Grow Rich helped end the Great Depression with its 13 steps to amass riches. It holds the keys to financial independence, harmonious relationships, power, happiness, fulfillment, and peace of mind. All forms of wealth can be yours if you are willing to pay the price…and that is, to THINK—to enlarge your mind, take control of your thoughts, and leverage the power of the vast mental resources available to you in order to translate your greatest desires into their material equivalent. As Hill said, “There is no point in having such a great potential for achievement unless you do something to convert it into an actuality.” Think and Grow Rich in Ten Minutes a Day extracts the key principles, instructions, and stories from Hill’s original, unedited masterpiece and provides updated, relevant examples—in modernized, easily accessible language—so that all readers, regardless of how busy they are, can benefit from the timeless wisdom found in Hill’s book. Action items added to the original text will help readers expertly apply each chapter’s lessons. Your master-key to success is already in your hands! Let this book show you how to use it efficiently and effectively to unlock the storehouses of riches that are within your reach. Harness the power of thought to distinguish yourself like you never imagined possible…for “anything the mind can believe, it can achieve!”

Oliver Napoleon Hill was an American self-help author and conman. He is best known for his book Think and Grow Rich (1937), which is among the best-selling self-help books of all time. Hill's works insisted that fervid expectations are essential to improving one's life. Most of his books were promoted as expounding principles to achieve "success".
Hill is a controversial figure. Accused of fraud, modern historians also doubt many of his claims, such as that he met Andrew Carnegie and that he was an attorney.

There was a bit too much pseudoscience and pseudo-spirituality for me, but I still think it has a powerful message. Our ability to achieve what we want is based on first knowing what we actually want, visualizing it, making a definite plan of action, being persistent in that plan, and getting help from others. I also think there’s a lot of truth in the concept of being open and receptive to opportunities that come your way, and being able to recognize them as such. This book helped me clarify my vision and goals for my business, and begin to put a concrete plan in place (basically revising my existing plans and thinking more concretely about what it would actually entail to grow to the level I’m aiming for).

Great “Summary”

I hate to use the word “summary” because this book is by no means a watered-down brief. While not as long or in-depth as the original (which I also have), it misses nothing with the basic lessons and principles in the original TAGR. The language is updated along with the mention of more current leaders, but it stays true to its purpose. I purchased it because it’s an official publication from the Napoleon Hill Foundation and it did not disappoint. This will be the edition to which I shall regularly return.

This condensed version of think grow rich serves as a daily reminder and accountability tool for using the key principles to achieve your goals.

I didn’t think I would need it or particularly like it but I’m pleasantly surprised how much I do.

I took my time reading this book with a group of ppl and we were all in a “class” with a mentor who helped break things down. It’s very inspirational. It has helped me along my goals and push me to get started on a lot of projects.
