A lover of animals, it’s no surprise that Cheri has what some would call, a zoo of animals. This story is the perfect addition to this amazing series. Owen and Camryn had their whole lives planned out together, until tragedy strikes, and Camryn’s sister goes missing, which send her on a mission to find out what happened. 8-years later fate bring these two back together again, with neither knowing that the other is in law enforcement. Owen is now a cop and Camryn FBI, and they are both working on the missing girl. This is a well written story which had me on tenterhooks throughout, and is fast paced, heartbreaking, emotional, and filled with secrets, suspense, twists, intrigue, and is a poignant 2nd chance love story. I look forward to reading more from this talented duo whose work I highly recommend for all.

This one has got to be one of the fastest paced story i have ever read. Period.

When you take into consideration the storyline and amount of stuff this author crammed in that short of a story.... i'm equally impressed and well... not impressed at all.

This could actually have been a great story. The idea behind it was really good. But things were moving so fast, there was no time for emotional built-up. No suspense, no tense romantic feelings, no nothing, really. It was just go go go go... Let's make this as fast as we can.

In the end - it just didn't work out.

That is one heck of a nice cover though. Hah!

Oh the twists and turns!! Cheri Marie and Alexis Craig have written a page turning suspenseful second chance romance and I’m here for it!

Camryn has dedicated her life to one thing, finding her sister who went missing eight years prior. Nothing was going to distract her, especially not her first and forever love Owen. What she’s not prepared for is the rabbit hole her life falls down in her pursuit.

This story is going to suck you in and refuse to let you go, and just when you think it’s going one way the switch is flipped and you are going another!

This is a great addition to the KB World! Do not miss out on it!

Is their love still alive? What will they do to solve their cases? At what expense? There are surprises and revelations. Is her sister still alive? Characters to love, an intriguing storyline, and romance with plenty of problems.

Another good book in the Everyday Heroes World. A world we should all appreciate.

The angst in this had me on edge. It was intense and I felt for Camryn and her determination for her sister. It's not an easy second chance for her and Owen and the story is told so well that I had a hard time putting this down. There is suspense, danger, secrets, and white-hot passion.

I am huge fan of all the books in the Everyday Heroes World of books that have come out and this book is at the top of the list. If you are looking for a book that has heartbreak, love, suspense, secrets and a determination of a sister to find out what really happened then this book is for you. We have Owen and Camryn who seem to have the perfect life until tragedy hits. Camryn knows that her sister is alive and do what ever it will take even if it has her heart breaking. She is a girl on a mission and nothing will stop her from finding out what happened all those years ago. Then you have Owen who never has stopped looking for or loving Camryn. When fate brings them together all his old feelings come back full force but he has secrets of his own that threaten him and Camryn's happily ever after. This book is full of intrigue and kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. I couldn't put it down because I had to no what happened. Cheri I loved this book. You did Kristy and the Everyday Heroes World proud.

OMG I absolutely loved this story. I love Cam and Owen. They are amazing. This is a roller coaster of a ride and it is fast paced. Them both having the same career in law enforcement was hot as well. This is one of those must read books that you will love. So go on out and one click this bad boy!

There were two EPIC projects created in the past year that I love for, and one of them is The Everyday Heroes World (the other being the Cocky Hero Club) because I've discovered so many new authors that I may or may not have found on my own, and while I'm a fan of Cheri Marie, Alexis R. Craig is new to me. I was intrigued when I read the blurb for Scarred but I got so much more as romantic suspense is my jam but throw in the whole second chance kicker, yeah, I was a goner for real. Camryn was building a future with Owen when her sister disappeared, and rather than stick to the plans, she left Owen behind so she could try to find her younger sister. It took her down a rabbit hole that she didn't see coming, but luckily for her, fate brought her & Owen face to face again, and both are now in law enforcement. So we have them navigating those old feelings but more importantly, the heart pounding suspense begins. The twists & turns were coming in hot, and everytime I thought I was catching up, BAM! These two threw me for a loop. I LOVED this story HARD, so I hope to hell that y'all hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY

This is the first book I have read by the authors and it is an intriguing story taking place in the wonderful world of Everyday Heroes originated by K. Bromberg. Camryn and Owen thought they had it all figured out when they were together in high school but sometimes what one plans takes a turn when Camryn’s sister disappeared. Fast forward a few years and Camryn is an agent for the FBI and is tracking her sister. Unbeknownst to Owen, he is working the same case as a police officer. What will happen when the truth comes out? How far will Camryn and Owen go to solve this mystery? Will these two get their happily ever after? Filled with drama, suspense, and secrets this is another engaging book to the series that will keep readers invested in this second chance romance.

If you're looking for an action packed read, look no further. In Cheri Marie's Scarred you get it all.
Camryn is forced to grow up quickly after her sister disappears. Those events shape her into becoming a federal agent. She left everything in the past, including her love, Owen.

Years later, we meet them both as the journey continues to find her missing sister.

This book was so difficult to put down. It was emotional and exciting and just what I needed after hundreds of romance novels.

A must read!

I was absolutely drawn in from the first page. The way Cheri and Alexis co-write is seamless. This story starts out sweet and the takes you on a roller coaster of suspense but ends happily.
I know if anything were to happen to my sister I’d do exactly the same thing Camryn had.

Camryn and Owen had a love story like no other. They both had dreams to fulfil, but new they could do it together until her sister went missing. Camryn's only focus is finding her sister no matter what and years later she feels she's closer than ever. Becoming an FBI agent has helped her get closer and now she will do whatever it takes to find out what happened. What she didn't expect is to run into Own again and him being a cop. Now these two will have to fight each other again and their love and attraction. Now they are both in deep with an organization that can get them hurt. But will she finally find her sister? Or find out at least what happen to her? And the shock of the truth will come out and can Camryn handle it?

I want to give this 4.5 stars but I can't. From the dialog between Link n Owen, there is literally NO WAY Link could be MacKenzie. I thought it the whole time until they actually talked. Obviously it was to throw readers off but it made the reveal too unrealistic. They both talked like Link didn't know Camryn at all.
