The book has a promising story. I feel like a lot need to be expanded on to create a whole story and to cut down on tbe confusion from bouncing around so much. The writing definitely needs to be cleaned and edited, and there are a lot of terms and references that require more information for the everyday reader.

This book really needs a pass with an editor. Just someone who can make sure people’s names are spelled correctly and consistently, fix odd spacing and punctuation, etc. As a person who reads a lot, these things made it very difficult for me to read. Which is a shame because the story is a fun story. As a person who also works in the entertainment industry, I could feel the nuance and expertise the author brings to her work. I love a good NY story and the authors love of the city radiates off the page. I’m really glad I got a chance to read the first of I’m sure many books to come from her. This was a goodreads giveaway.

Sexy and riveting

I am typically not a fan of romance novels, but this one really caught my attention. I look forward to more of this authors work.
