With the Beltane Festival approaching, the preparations in White Haven are in full swing, but when emotions soar out of control, the witches suspect more than just high spirits.
As part of the celebrations, a local theatre group is rehearsing Tristan and Isolde, but it seems Beltane magic is affecting the cast, and all sorts of old myths are brought to the surface.
The May Queen brings desire, fertility, and the promise of renewal, but love can also be dark and dangerous.
Avery finds that her emotions are vulnerable to the primal magic that courses through the town, as are the other witches, and suddenly relationships are under pressure as they have never been before.
When the Beltane fires burn, will White Haven burn with it?
I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.
I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.
Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.
In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.
White Haven was about to celebrate Belthane and festivals were celebrated in full in this town, however no one was prepared for the feelings and high emotions which were effecting everyone in the run up to the day itself. The play of Tristan and Iseult was being held at the theatre, however the actors seemed to be thinking they were the characters they were playing, and as the play had a tragic ending this became very scary and needed to be stopped. Who else but our famous coven of White Haven witches were best charged to see to this problem? Avery, Alex, Briar, El, Reuben and Hunter tackled this problem head on, intent on stopping murder from taking place. However, they were not prepared for their own emotions running amok as they tried to get to the bottom of who was behind the love spell and the enchantment induced on the audience at the theatre and on such a large scale effecting the whole town. What they discover takes them down a dark path having to dig up graves in the cemetery and so much more. The Green man and the Goddess were also not helping at all. I really enjoyed this 7th book in one of my very favourite witchy series and love the dark turn this one took and the lore behind the festival of Belthane which the book is steeped in! The witches are as usual their very likeable selves, full of humour and enthusiasm and love towards each other. I do so enjoy this lovely, easy to read series!
Loved this book like all the others in the series - but especially the goings on at Beltane - oooh! Wonderful plot intertwined with the story of Tristan and Iseult was genius. I love the way we get to know a little more about the witches with each book and this was no exception. I almost read it in one sitting as I couldn't wait to see what happened on the day and if our heroes saved the people of Witchhaven (sorry White Haven). I want to live there but I can picture it in my mind so I guess that will have to do for now. Please carry on writing as I want to see how Avery and the gang grow going forward.
Another spectacular story. We learn a little more each time about the witches. Strange goings on while they celebrate Belthane. During the play of Tristan and Isolde, the actors appear different. Extremely enjoyable.
Another great story by Tracey, I love the fact not only is she keeping up with the whitehaven witches but doing a few spin offs aswell, she knows what we like and she keeps delivering. Awesome book thanks
A compelling pagan story about the power of sexual love – and its less congenial consorts, jealousy and obsession. There is a local festival, a cursed play, a haunted theatre, a magic melee in a cemetery and a Beltane celebration in the faery woods. The members of the White Haven coven being mostly small business owners as well as from local families are positively part of the community and take their responsibilities seriously. The magic is impressive and well-founded in traditional lore.
Notes: The nature of the story means there is a lot of lustiness, but it is handled discreetly and it didn't get uncomfortably steamy for me (and I like it very cool). There is a fair amount of casual swearing.
✳️✳️ONE WICKEDLY BEWITCHING RIDE✳️✳️ Skimming scooters scooby! Green leaves me agog once more with this incredibly tumultuous rock-her-world smackdown, divvying out some knee-slappers, heavy-hitters and git-r-duns around for the taking, propelling this jewel to staggering heights. Temperament and ingenuity in each thread you unravel with every page, your lured into this intricate web so securely and precise, until nothing else exists, allies are forged and battle lines are drawn, exposing the soaring ups and agonizing downs, wrapping this jewel up sleek, shiny and tight. Escapades and shenanigans descend in a flurry of clever deductions and calculated tactics, frayed boundaries and sketchy barriers solidify as limitations are amplified and tested, attentive to the dramatic twists and wicked turns unfolding, blasting this baby to life brilliantly. Sparks ignite with this action packed, hard hitting, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, block busting dynamo, revving up the exuberance and vigor, allies are forged and battle lines are drawn, melding this gem together seamlessly. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance and blend, with amazing depth and diversity, adding enough spice for an extra punch. Throw in 100% on point realism, painting graphic scenarios so colorfully descriptive with vivid detail its like you're living it with them instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Remarkable job Green, thanks for sharing this awesome little gem with us.
White Haven is a magical place with witches, Fey, nephilim and mayhem. Due to the magic surrounding the town and the witches that live there, magical mischief is always lurking around and waiting for an opportunity to strike. Beltane is a time of rebirth and renewal and as always the coven are thrown into the next sinister plot from which they must not on survive but also protect the town. Each new book explores the magic of the witches and reveals their familial history whether it be light or dark magic at play. Their understanding of each other and acceptance has made them stronger together than apart and as a team they face the challenges together no matter what may come. I wish Shadow could find her way home as it sad that she longs for her homeland and is stranded in a world that is so foreign to her own which is full of magic.
There is no dull moments in this series. Once again it's magic mayhem in the White Haven Coven.
Everyone is looking forward for the Beltane festivities, but the community is experiencing some anomilies. Peaceful people are behaving out of character. There is a tendency towards violence, lust and jealousy all around. Something malevolent is lurking around. The coven steps in and when they uncover the source of these problems, it's as complicated as it's surprising. Alex and Avery with the rest of the gang proceed to remove this trouble maker. It's a difficult task. Will they succeed in this endeavour?
It's well paced and the characters are well portrayed. The magic is fascinating. A great addition to the series.
This 7th novel in the fun White Haven Witches series set in contemporary England as as entertaining as it’s predecessors. The little coven of friends and couples must unravel mysterious events relating to the upcoming Beltane celebration. On top of that, the local theatre and production of the ancient play “Triston and Iseult” seems to be bewitched. Another evil ancestor of one of the gang is also reeking havoc, and all of the village seems to be experiencing random jealousy or lust. You’ll have to read to see how the witches are affected by the sexual impulses caused by this super-charged Beltane season.
Another great story to lose yourself within. Once again the young White Haven Witches coven raises their game to take on a new evil (or rather a returned evil ancestor of Alex). Whilst you don't get to choose your family, at least in this case you can banish the worst of them to wander the in between worlds. TJ Green continues her series with another threat that they need to overcome with the time counting down rapidly I received my book as an arc from the author and willingly leave my honest review
I was looking forward to this next chapter in the White Haven witches’ story, and I wasn’t disappointed! The characters are now old friends to me. The story is enjoyable from the start, and is, for me, a lovely escape into a world that has danger, magic and intrigue all existing alongside a world that is actually very normal. It gives that lovely feeling of escapism; it might all be true and happening near you!
Yet another amazing installment in the White Haven series. Our friends face unusual challenges and new foes which will test their abilities and relationships. Loved how the story just flows and the suspense keeps on building up with a grand finale showdown between good and evil. Really enjoyed this writing style and cannot wait until the next book! If you enjoy the supernatural world of witches in our day and age you will not be disappointed with this series.
Great series and another fantastic book from T.J. Green. Beltane is coming and there is a lot sexual energy going on , really love all the sexiness and the funny innuendos from the characters. I love all the characters and their relationships, they are like a little family and their interactions are so funny , I especially love Briar new "wild" vibe . Recommended to all people who love magic, romance , witchcraft and mystery.
Full of love, lust and magic! The 7th book in the White Haven witches series does not disappoint! Back in Cornwall in the run up to Beltane, the witches find themselves dealing with some strange goings on in White Haven and neighbouring towns. They search for the source and a way to return things to normal...for White Haven anyway! But not before they all get caught up in the Beltane energies! If magic, fantasy and mystery is your thing, definitely give the whole series a go!
In this book, Avery Hamilton and her coven are preparing to celebrate Beltane (May Day) with a maypole ceremony. Some kind of love spell has been put on the White Haven community, so both love and jealousy are causing havoc. A theater group has been enchanted so the actors believe they are really the characters in the play. Finding out the source of the spells is paramount for the health of the village.
The White Haven Coven, and supporting characters, never disappoint.
After finishing the 7th in this series, I simply cannot wait to start the 8th! The characters dance across the pages as they continue to keep White Haven safe, and manage to get into mischief along the way. It was definitely fitting to read this at the beginning of Beltane. I will always remember this volume as May Day heralds spring.
I have read this book over two nights, I absolutely loved it. As always the book has twists and turns and keeps you guessing. I won’t tell you the plot as I don’t like spoilers but what I will say is if you like something different and have not tried this series of books give them a go. Perfect read when your in lockdown as impossible to put down. I highly recommend this book!
Beltane Magic I have been waiting in anticipation for this next book in the White Haven series and enjoyed the book so much that I have started reading it again straight away which I almost never have done before. Set at Beltane that magic flows affecting all of Cornwall but especially White Haven as the witches try to stop history repeating itself.
Magical Mystery Adventure! Magic is playing havoc with emotions in this wonderful, easy to read, Beltane celebration story. Our friends, The White Have Witches, have a mystery on their hands. What is going on besides Beltane? Wonderful characters come together in this unpredictable story. Can't get enough of this series!
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great drama and romance with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
I was given this book to review by the author. The 7th book in the white haven witches series sees the white haven witches dealing with beltane magic gone wild, or is it something more sinister? Another great story although it was a little slow to start I felt, but when it got going it doesn't disappoint.
Beltane is only a few weeks away. Cornwall and White Haven are preparing for the festivities. Quite a few unusual events are happening. Things seem to get out of hand when a vengeful spirit grandfather's spell takes over the events. The White Haven coven has their hands full this time around. I received this enjoyable book as an ARC
I have enjoyed all of the white Haven witches books. The characters in this book really pull you in. The story kept me hooked. There was a few good giggles in this book Favourite one "Shall I piss on his grave". Read this book. I have recommended these books to all my friends.
I love how the characters are written, it makes you just want to keep reading. The story involves a major pagan festival and is written in a very positive manner. I can't wait to read more of how the coven further develop their magic. Definitely a major fan xx
A truly mesmerising series so far, not my favourite story, but as a collection, I can't put them down! The series follows Every and the other White Haven covers as they learn their elemental powers, fall in love, and save their Cornish seaside town. Can't wait to read the next one, as well as the Shadow and Gabe books!
oh my gosh.. if you haven't yet you need to read. from the first word to the last you will find yourself in another world needing to see what happens next. betcha can't put the book down before you've finished it!
A non stop magical read White Haven hits the spot again in Book 7. Beltane festivities and unusual happenings and so very much more. A non stop magical read in both senses of the word. I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review
Eagerly anticipated, I love this series. The White Haven coven rise to the challenge when the theatre puts on a cursed play and the town is taken over by weird happenings. Lust is in the air, and jealousies and violence ensue.
