But their first job is more complicated than they expected.

When they break fey magic that seals an old tomb, they find it contains more than they bargained for. Now they’re hunting for a rogue spirit, but he always seems one step ahead.

The fight leads them in a direction they never expected.

Gabe could leave his past behind, or he could delve into the darkest secrets of mankind. Shadow has no intention of being left out.

I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.

I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.

Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.

In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.

✳️✳️ONE INTENSE ADVENTURE✳️✳️
Blazing blizzards! Green unleashes one helluva rollercoaster ride, blasting through like a wrecking ball, kicking ass and laying waste, divying out some horrifying facts, reckless decisions and ruthless drive, keeping you riveted and frozen to your seat, launching this jewel to a whole new level. Continence and dynamics in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this web so profoundly until everything else ceases to exist, putting our characters through their paces, merging this gem together flawlessly. Chicanery and misfortune descend in a vortex of nerve racking encounters and brutal tactics, observing the blurred lines, broken barriers and crushed perimeters, limitations are amplified and enforced, knocking down walls and bringing the heat, exposing the devious quirks and defying bents, reaching deep for every ounce of strength in a fierce surge of preservation and determination, exploding this bad boy to life brilliantly. The characters, banter, dialogue, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow adding depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and graphic descriptions creating an elaborate backdrop that feels as though you were transported to ground zero with them. Fantastic job Green, thanks for sharing this amazing thrill with us.

I love going back to the White Haven setting and I really enjoyed the story of the hunters Gabe the Nephilim and Shadow the Fae and the rest of the housemates on the farm. However, this story is much darker than any of the white haven witches stories have ever been so be prepared for a really thrilling read as Gabe and Shadow go to London to meet up with the Orphic Guild representatives to sell off Shadow's Empusa sword, little realising the adventure this deal was going to send them on. The client loved the sword but was interested in meeting with them personally and Chadwick had a quest for them, he wanted them to embark on some grave robbing but mainly needed shadow to lift the veil hiding the real tomb through magic. His research into things related to death had led him to discover the very well hidden tomb of the druid known as Kian and what happens once the tomb is opened is more than any of them had bargained for. This book is one long thrilling ride, which nearly cost Shadow her life and for better or worse, exposure of who they really are to the Orphic Guild! I think that the Hunters of White Haven stories are going to be something to really look forward to reading as I really love dark magic fantasy!

A spin off to White Haven Witches series, I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this as much, but I was wrong. Hooked right from the start.
It was actually enjoyable following the adventure of Shadow, Gabe and the other Nephilims.
I enjoyed this. The story was fast packed never dull, and introduced some interesting new characters, as well as the witches, which I was pleased that they popped up, it was nice to have them in it.
I wasn't sure about Shadow, until Crossroads Magic, when she really developed into an interesting character. And this book just bought her to life even more.
It was also nice to learn more about Gabe and the Nephilims who were always just minor characters in the White Haven Witches.
Can't wait for more books in this exciting her series.

This spin off of The White Haven Witches is just as good. There is a lot more about the Nephillim and Shadow, the fey.

Gabe is the head of a security firm and as an aside he has set up a hunter's team together with his fellow Nephillim and Shadow. Their goal is to find rare artifacts, mainly related to the occult. Their first assignment is to find and open an ancient tomb. It sounds easy and straightforward! What they find is more than they bargained for. They find themselves fighting and chasing an evil who is set on Shadow. The reason why is unexpected. Will the band of hunters escape his evil claws?

It's good to have an insight on the way of life of the Nephillim and Shadow. They are present in The White Haven Witches, but there's not much on how they have settled in their new lives. Their camaraderie brings light to this somewhat dark and interesting storyline. Gabe and the other Nephillim have a dry sense of humour, but Shadow doesn't always get it. That on its on makes for a fun read.

A typical TJ Green novel

As the title suggests, this is a typical exciting and brilliantly written novel by Tracey!!
Whether you're new to any of Tracey's books or like myself, well versed in the White Haven novels, you cannot deny the fantastic, up and down and twisted around excellence of her novels!! I love how you never know or perceive exactly what's going to happen next!!
Regardless the only downside to this particular book, is that I would have liked more when it came down to the face off and I do believe more could have been written regarding the antagonist of this story line!! More to do with the end battle!! I was left feeling a little let down by that but, beyond that the story is very well written and enjoyable and short enough to read in just a couple of hours.
So if you want to read an enjoyable tale and the brewing chemistry between Shadow and Gabe, then grab this one and enjoy!!

This first volume of the White Haven Hunters series is an expansion of the White Haven Witches universe, with a shifter series coming soon. The hunters are introduced in the original series. They are comprised of seven male Nephilim and a fey woman. The Nepheilim of mythology are beings born to human mothers and fathered by fallen angels. The fey girl, Shadow, is essentially a fairy from the “other world” which is home to Celtic gods and mythic creatures. All have supernatural powers, which the use primarily to search for mystic historical objects and magical items. They also protect their witch friends and each other, as well as the entire unsuspecting human community. They are fun stories set in England. I look forward to reading everything else Ms. Green creates in this literary universe.

fascinating start to a series!

I have not read the series before which spawned this series: the White Haven Witches, and have out on some of the back story. Regardless, this book stood on its own and I found so interesting I’ve stayed up late to finish the book and write this review. The Nephilium are a fascinating group of seven men, each with their own distinct personalities. Shadow, a fey caught in our mortal world is feisty, head strong, and young for a fey, which means too impetuous.
I don’t like to say much about the actual story in a review so all I will say is I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more of the series. The characters are wonderful, even the brash policewoman. The author has a solid grasp on characterization which makes for a delightful, action packed, read.

If you loved the White Haven Witches you are going to love this spin off!

I normally hate when books have a spin off series but this was flawlessly written! It focused more on Shadow and the Nephilim’s. We still see a bit of our favorite witches, but the main focus is in Shadow.

This book really gives us some background on Shadow. She is more of a mystery in the White Haven books, but here we really get to know her. We see her personality come out, and we see her vulnerability. Shadow was thrown into a world where she didn’t want to live, and she finds a way to adapt to her new world a living situations.

Nephilim have moved to Haven along with a Fae warrior by the name of Shadow. When the great flood occurred, the Nephilim were abandoned by their fathers to die. Waiting in the darkness that was neither heaven nor hell a gate opened, seven escaped. Befriended by the Witches of Haven they start acclimating to the modern world. As they earn money by acquiring ancient relics an evil Fae druid’s spirit is released. Guess what? He wants his body back, alive! Jumping from one living human to another he hopes to sacrifice Shadow the warrior as the final step. It’s up to the Witches of Haven and the Nephilim to make sure that does not happen.

There I was, devouring all the White Haven Witch books as I got my hands on them, when I suddenly became aware that the White Haven Hunters books fit in between some of the Witch series books, and the characters overlap. Oh my!

The reading order is here.

The books are well written and consistent with the characters and both series. The Hunters books are fast paced and gripping. Hard to put down. The audiobooks are well read. Highly recommended.

What if the Nephilim were living among us?
I love how the author enmeshes her stories with one another. The characters flow together seamlessly. The storylines, although each one is complex on it's own, adds depth and dimension to one another. Having the timelines come together, with centuries and even millenia apart from one another, takes great skill to not forget important details in each one. Mad skills for an author and that's what sets Ms. Green apart from many!

I truly enjoyed this book. It will make you smile and laugh. Gabe and Sassy are a great characters in this book. Shadow is sassy, high spirited, spit fire. She has you reading to see what is going to happen next. Her relationship with the White Haven witches is honest and really enjoyable.

I could not put this book down until I was done. I can't wait to see what develops for the characters in the next book. I recommend reading this book, you will enjoy it from start to finish

This was a fun Indiana Jones-style fantasy adventure with characters drawn from several mythologies. The dialog was good with enjoyable banter and there was plenty of action. I liked the characters and I also appreciated the slow burn romance. There was some strong language but it was isolated to certain characters for the most part and not pervasive. The ending was a little convenient but still satisfying.

Quick……

A fast read. Everything seems to happen at breakneck spread. Yet it didn’t feel rushed. I didn’t feel like something was missing. Here and there a little more explanation would have been great, guess I should have started with the White Haven Witches for that. You don’t have to read that series first but I think it would be helpful.
I will probably read the rest of this series and then read White Haven Witches

I originally did not read these books as I don't really love Shadow in the White Haven Witches books, even though I do like Gabe and the guys and wished they were in that series a little more. But there are so many references in other books to events in these that I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. While Shadow is still not a character I connect with that much, I did like her better in these books. She was fleshed out more and less shallow, and I loved the banter with Gabe's crew, and the interactions with the witches still. I will continue the series to catch up with where I am in the timeline of Green's other books and look forward to seeing these relationships develop more.

Having read the White Haven series so far I was curious to learn more about the Nephilm and where they fit in and how they adapt to life here. Good storyline and you learn more about Gabe and his brothers. Nasty villain and not sure I like the Guild but looking forward to the next one already. Loving this and would recommend.

First book in TJ Greens new spin off series and I really enjoyed it. It’s been great to start to understand and get to know the personalities of the Nephilim and Shadow. I look forward to the rest of the books to find out more of there backgrounds and to also see if anything happens between Gabe and Shadow 😉😉

I wasn't sure how I'd get along with a story featuring the strapping Nephilim guys and the fierce fey hunter, but it was very engaging. Taking the action outside Cornwall, while still keeping White Haven at the heart of things, added an extra dimension. The introduction of the mysterious Orphic Guild again demonstrates the author's skill at managing a large cast of distinctive characters.

All of this authors books keep me on the edge of my seat. She is amazing! I can’t wait for the next book to be released, coming to the UK on 26th of May. Hunters Dawn.
These are a ‘must read’ for anyone with an interest in Pagan Pathway, biblical stuff, Druidism, It’s all there. Oh of course and the most gorgeous 7 brothers, the Nephalim. Don’t know what they are? Read & find out!!!!! X

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the second. The characters were interesting and the pace was good. I like the main characters and think they could grow in sequels. The basis of the story is interesting but needs to be expanded to stop it becoming similar to a lot of others in this genre. Overall I really enjoyed the story and hope the second book is as entertaining.

So I was really hesitant to read this as I am usually disappointed in spin-offs but my girl T J sucks you in and does not let you go. You have to know how things will end. In addition, she is slow going with the loving so you have to keep reading to see if your favorites will end up figuring things out. She is defiantly on of my favorite authors and this series is the next one I will finish.

White Haven Hunters Book.

This book rivals the White Haven witches.
Well written, keeps you on the edge of your seat. Love the fact that you have some of the same characters in this series and that you bring in some of the main characters from White Haven Witches.
TJ Green is an excellent writer.
