Pandora Snow is off to a great start with this new military series. The story has a few twists that kept me guessing. We are introduced to a new hero, Axel. He recently returned from sea and is working for an tech security company. His buddies are getting married and he is beginning to think he will be the last bachelor of the group.
Addison, or Addy is a marketing VP for a company needing IT security. When she attends a meeting, the man running it is Axel. He thinks she looks familiar. Where has he seen her before? It hits him - she is Amethyst, a dancer from the bachelor party. He hasn't been able to get her out of his mind or dreams since the party. Can they find happiness together? Why is she dancing?
Their romance is loving until they hit stumbling blocks. She suddenly ghosts our hero. He will move heaven and earth until he finds out what's going on.
I thought that Axel acquiesced too quickly a few times but I guess I can chalk it up to him being officer and a gentleman. Addy is a strong woman, trying to help her family. She holds onto her ideals and make the best of things. She is always putting others first.
We are briefly introduced to the other five bachelors. They all enter a pool to see who will be the last bachelor standing. We get to know a few a little better in this story. These men have a bond that holds them together and I am sure these men will all have their own stories.
This romance story does end with a happily ever after but it isn't without moments where the reader is wondering if and how this will work out. I can't wait to get to know the others in the group.

It wasn't that this book was just boring. It was so filled with the characters admiring themselves in the first 10% of the book that I DNF'd it at 20%.
The grammatical mistakes should have been embarrassing for this author, since some of them were things that someone much younger would have caught. Then we have "heals" instead of "heels". Those two tell me that no editor was involved, just spell check. That was all in the first 10%. And even though this was steamy, as the characters would no doubt tell you, all the steam was because they were perfect. And despite the steam, this book was written at roughly a high school level. The author needs to step up her game and learn things like character depth and alliteration. Half the book, or maybe a little less, was made up of the characters telling themselves how great they were. And Axel? OMG what a stuck up POS. He's not Dominant, he's just an Alpha who thinks his shit doesn't stink.
I'm just glad this was on Kindle Unlimited. Read at your own risk. Try not to laugh when the characters are looking in the mirror and admiring themselves.

I was super excited to hear Pandora was working on a new series. If you liked M.E.D.I.C.S, this series also deals with men trying to find their way after their service has ended. This time they are from the Navy.
Axel and Addison suck at communicating with each other, but the spark between them is so hot they cannot keep from coming back for more. Axel is drawn to learn more about why Addison moonlight's as a dancer, and Addison is torn by merging her two identities with a relationship with Axel.
Addison is placed in an impossible position, but things do work out in the end. I loved how Phil and Houston help Addison. I cannot wait for their stories to be told - they need to find love too.
This story is told in dual perspective- alternating between Axel and Addison with heat lighting up the page when Axel and Addison cannot resist each other anymore.

Well written story that flows smoothly with likable well developed characters. Addison moonlights as Amythest, an exotic dancer to pay for her mom's cancer treatment. Her dad is a military commander and Addison is close to both her parents. When Addison meets Axel, they have an instant connection and attraction, but she does not go home with the guys she dances for. They meet again when the company she works for as the marketing VP needs some security and start a friendship/relationship. Unfortunately for Addison and admiral has seen her and wants her and will stoop to anything including blackmail to have her. She beaks off all communication with Axel, but lucky for her Axel is stubborn and knows something is wrong and set out to hunt her down. Great read, with a well deserved HEA and karma for the admiral.

i didn't like in each chapter there was a his and her section instead of the of characters talking together in one chapter. I don't like this writing style.
The story was ok. Addison did what she had to do to financial support her family. Alex was a true military man. Strong minded, and could not relate to most life style of others. He had a strong support base in his fellow seamen. Once he found his love in Addison, he had to learn to think before he spoke. He's directness came out harsh to others who did not know him. He loved hard and refused to give up. The not giving up is what saved Addison. Towards the end of the story, there was a little shocker about her father.
If you are looking for a book that does not require any suspense, this could be the book for you.

I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
Axel secretly longs for love and a meaningful relationship. When he meets Amythest he has no clue the turns life will take from that day forward... It is not easy fighting the preconceived notions society has on exotic dancers, and dating one is not easy. Especially for a jealous man.
Amythest has to endure the last few weeks of the night job she hates, because she needs the money. Having a respectful day job and pursuing a relationship with someone who doesn't accept her second job and not wanting to give up neither the job nor the guy has her rethinking every step she takes.
This is a heart warming story of love and hope.

Can true love truly concur all? A enemies to lovers military romance. This is a well written story with interesting and relatable characters. The characters have amazing chemistry.

Wow! What a fantastic, beautiful love story. Full of surprises, suspense, betrayal, blackmail, heartbreak, misunderstandings, and grief. You feel their emotions and anguish, and the true evil from the man stalking her. Sometimes situations happen that are out of your control and you are forced to make decisions and do things you never thought you would do. Meeting the man of your dreams, isn’t in your plans, as your life overflows with too many emotions and heartbreak. His jealousy and anger is out of control and you haven’t even had a date, the jerk! The characters are awesome and the surprises will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat! Loved it!

Axel and Addy. Great chemistry. Great plot. Great characters. Lots of feels. But, I am a slow reader. And I just didnt like reading everything twice. I love a dual point of view, but not where everything is repeated twice. (Wednesday morning Addy. Wednesday morning Axel) If you don't mind that, this is a wonderful story. I really enjoyed this author's M.E.D.I.C. S. series and this one looks to be every bit as good.

Axel meets "Amethyst" as a bachelor party, she's the entertainment and she also leads a double life as she shows up at Axel's company on Monday morning. Every time Axel meets Addison, he handles it wrong, but he's obsessed with figuring out what makes her tick, and why she leads the double life. With a little help from some unexpected friends, she goes after what she wants, but first they have to get through some very serious issues.

Heroes Axel: An Instalove Enemies to Lovers Small Town Military Romance is a misnomer.
This new to me author is a great read! A steamy faithful soul connection gets me every time. Axel and Amethyst meet at a bachelor party but they were never enemies. And San Diego is not a small town. Axel and Addison get a happy ending which is a requirement for me.

This was an entertaining romance story. I didn't love the way the chapters were set where the story was repeat from his and her point of view. Other than that the story line was enjoyable. The character were well written and had great chemistry.

Good read
This book was a little different for me. Didn’t have a lot of sexy scenes, but lots of build up and romantic times. Ended pretty good with more detail. Well thought out story so you didn’t notice the short length. I would definitely recommend to someone who doesn’t want to read about sex all the time.

Great story about loyalty and trust. Axel meets Addison in rather unusual circumstances. It's not all as it seems. There is a strong attraction between them and there are issues to overcome before they can be together.

This is another well written read from Pandora Snow. It's hot, emotional, and has so many twists and turns that you don't know what's coming next. I think this is the best one so far

In the first book we meet Captain Axel Parker who meets a sultry stripper Amethyst at a bachelors party for one of his crew members. The chemistry and attraction is off the charts between them! He can't get her out of his mind after a lap dance untill he walks into the conference room to meet potential clients..... Amethyst/Addison is out of her comfort zone when she meets the Director of IT development to secure the Marketing company she works for. Sparks fly at first and then friendship follows which is about to turn into love. Lots of drama ensues after a private party she dances at and later gets stalked, harrassed and blackmailed into sleeping with the client. Axel cant stop his possesive tendencies where her dancing is concerned. Will Axel forgive her? Will he rescue her in time? I received an ARC for an honest review.

h rating: 3.5/5 - Addison. Her quick to defend herself behavior was a bit extra. & her reacting with a physical hit was uncool IMO.
Drama: 3/5 - Blackmail and strippers.
Thoughts: This was a freebie and it was 1 of a few in a series so I decided to give it a go. Still interested in series, might see how it goes.
