This book is about death. Death and other things. Death and what happens after that. Still, they are not simply stories of hauntings. They are stories of subtleties of the human psyche. The living shadow of Nilmoni falls in love with the house of the Ghosal, with woman. He therefore wants to live again after death. And life only brings death. And what about Pulok Banerjee? His excessive anger caused his death. Now his wife is employed in his place. She is in love with a boy from the office. And one day they together enter into the home Pulok has left after his death. They are entwined with this life from the shadowy topography of death. What are they wishing for? Female body? Or material pleasures, for things? One of them alive? Or both of them dead? This two stories are about the deepest labyrinths of men and women.
