Alphas Luke is the second book in Pandora Snow's Alpha series. This story takes place before book one which opened with Luke's bachelor party. So going in I knew this story would have a happily ever after
Luke is a sympathetic hero. His entire world has been destroyed. His enlistment is completed, his parents were killed in a car accident while he was out at sea and his longtime sweetheart broke up with him. Needless to say Luke is emotionally fragile. He can't quite deal with his parents death.
Hunter lives next door to Luke. They grew up together. She shattered his heart and hers when she broke up with him. She made a terrible mistake and now is pregnant with another man's baby.
Luke and Hunter are such a cute couple. They are perfect for each other. They have incredible chemistry and are so supportive of each other. My heart ached for Luke with reminders of his parents all around him. He kept his grief pushed down but it still would leak to the surface. This rings so true to life.

How much can you forgive to get what you want?
Luke has been knocked down - while serving in the Navy his parents die and his girlfriend ends their relationship.
His service is now over and he is finally back on shore, with A LOT to deal with. He is going home to his parents' house without them and his ex is living right next door.
The spark is still alive between Luke and Hunter. What can you forgive? How do you move on?
I loved the relationship between Hunter, Luke and Archer. Their relationships are deep and they work to support each other- desperately trying to do what they think is best for the others.
This is book 2, but a prequel to Axel's story, so not necessary to have read book one before reading this one.
I am looking forward to reading Archer's story. He deserves his own happy ending.

This was a very good book. Pandora does it again with book 2 of this series. Forgiveness is a life changing act for someone like Hunter. She made a colossal mistake in her time of grief and missing Luke and he is able to forgive her. They belong together and despite his emotional state he wants to be there for her and her babies that are on the way. Their love will likely withstand the normal trials and tribulations a relationship encounters. Can’t wait to read how things are going in future books of this series.

I am crying as I write this! That is how sweet and wonderful this book is. You feel their every thought and emotion. You hold your breath as you root for their love and try to guess what will happen next! Lots of surprises, warmth, love, grief, hope, and forgiveness are wrapped up in this heartwarming love story! Dealing with so much grief would be impossible without his two BFFs. The ending is so beautiful you may cry too! Loved it!

Luke is a sweet sweet man who's in love with his high school sweetheart who broke up with him while he was on a 2 year assignment at sea. When he returns, she is pregnant with another man's baby.
He has suffered a few life altering blows while deployed and all he wants is to reconnect with her. But he"s not emotionally available.
This is a heart warming story of friendship, love and hope.

The author has given us characters we can care about. We are pulled into the lives of Luke and Hunter and that is exactly where we want to be. Hunter had made decisions that she thinks are right, but does not take into consideration how much pain will come with those decisions, for both Luke and herself.

A story of forgiveness and fortitude. Luke and Hunter were childhood sweethearts. Unfortunately in a moment of weakness Hunter was taken advantage of by the office cad. When Luke returned home from active duty they had to put aside these issues to find their happily ever after.

In the second installment of the Alphas Series we meet Luke who was mentioned in Alphas Axel Book 1. A sweet second chance romance about compasionate love and forgiveness that leaves the reader grabbibg for the tissues! Luke returns from being at sea for a mission in the Atlantic for two years. Six months ago his parents were killed in a car accident and he couldn't attend the memorial service, weeks later his compassionate, loving girlfriend Hunter broke up with him.. He is shocked to discover Hunter pregnant resulting from an indiscretion but still the love and compassion he felt for her never subsided. Hunter wonders if Luke will accept her pregnancy and would want to start over. Luke cannot commit to Hunter untill he makes peace with his parents death and himself. Will Luke accept his parents death and forgive himself to start a family with Hunter? I received an ARC for an honest review.

H rating: 4/5 - Luke. Really liked this hero, honestly his flaw was being so forgiving.
h rating: 2.5/5 - Hunter. NOT A FAN! Her "weakness" was such a lame excuse, I just don't believe it was a weak moment, especially after something so tragic happens to her family I don't understand that. Then on top, expecting a marriage proposal?! SERIOUSLY!?
Drama: 3/5 -All due to Hunter..
Thoughts: Not a fan of this book only due to the heroine and yeah I guess a little bit because he was so forgiving.
