This was my first time reading a book from this author. I must say she did a great job. For the first time reader I will warn you that this is a full length novel. This isn’t a novella or even a normal length paranormal romance book. This is a full length book. So prepare yourself for that. It was a long book but a good one. This book could easily be read as a stand alone. The introductions I feel are handled well and as a new reader to the author and to this world I had no issues understanding who these people were and what their powers were. They did mention shadow and her mate and I did go and look up book one and noticed that book deals with shadow meeting her mate but since the backstory was explained so well and each character had a proper introduction that wasn’t overdone I didn’t feel that I was missing anything and felt comfortable reading onward without wanting to read book one first. This book was also a little bit different because it didn’t have explicit sex scenes that you would normally find in this type of book. To be honest Audra handled it really tastefully and well. There was enough horseplay and language that really the reader knew what was going on and unless you really needed to hear about the physical act in super descriptive detail like usual it really wasn’t needed. Love, lust, want, need and desire was conveyed very well without descriptive sex scenes so I wasn’t bothered by it at all. Sexy Kitty and Minx 🤣😂 had beyond steamy hawt chemistry. I mean like 10 million scoville hawt!! They were burning up my pages! With that 🔥. The characters were all very interesting and I wanted to learn more about them. The MC were an interesting bunch. I did find it weird that we didn’t meet the Prime at all. I mean they did so much business on his lands and his top enforcer was leading the case then you had some murders and kidnappings of pack teenagers and not once we didn’t see the most powerful panther... so I found that odd. Also we’re left with a more HFN ending because the evil wasn’t dealt with but I guess that’s what books three is about. It seems they will be fighting the same evil and dealing with personal demons as the discover their mates as the series progress. So our couples are hooking up so technically we do some some happy endings but the fight continues. I do like how it seems that the previous books main characters appear at least part of the time in the next couples book. It looks like book three will be Nuna and I know we haven’t seen the last of shadow and icy along with their mates. I must admit Audra you were right.... Tara the Terror is growing on me! This was a really good book. I received this as an ARC for my honest review.

Another great offering by author Audra Hart! This is the second of her Road Witch series, which is a spin-off of the Tulsa Immortals series. There are numerous characters and (theme) content between the two series, but this is so well-written that a new reader doesn't feel "left out" or unknowing.
Midnight Dancer: Road Witch Book 2 is a fast moving, insta-love paranormal adventure that is chock full of Ms Hart's usual twists n turns, edge of the seat intrigue, detailed characters, an alpha male paired with a kick-ass female, all set in the wonderful world/realms of this author's imagination.
You'll find yourself immersed in this tale of a fallen goddess hunting a "serial" killer who also happens to find her soul mate and has her powers restored ... all in a captivatingly sweet but naughty PG-rated read.
For more R-rated reads, be sure to check out the Tulsa Immortals series!

Icy is tired, soul and bone deep tired. But when a nemesis begins killing again she knows she must move to stop him. She never expected to find her soul mate in Tulsa of all places. But is it too late for her?
I enjoyed the latest addition to this Audra Hart's Road Witch series. Icy is determined to end the deaths even if it costs her own. But Tony has something to say about that. I loved how supportive Tony is of Icy even as he gives her something to live for. I love that he appreciates the strength of his woman even as protects her vulnerabilities. I love that he will not allow Icy to go too far in her efforts to end the terror now.
This story is a well written enjoyable read and I cannot wait to see where Ms. Hart will take us next in this world she has created.

Absolutely loved it! Audra is a talented writer and knows how to weave a story. You get both points of view from the main characters with a few from supporting characters. Welcome to a world of the supernatural with witches and shifters plus many more.
Two people who are fated to be one finally find each other but there is evil keeping them apart. Will they take down the evil and finally be able to join to be bonded as fate wants or will they have to wait?
If you love supernaturals then you'll want to read this book and others by Audra who has a series based in Tulsa, dis I mention there's an MC club too.

I love these stories of the Tulsa Immortals. This one is a great addition to it. Icy is a goddess that feels the need to protect women and destroy those that would hurt them. For the past five thousand years that is what she has done. Tony is a Panther shifter who works with the Tulsa PD and with other paranormals that try to keep the world of paranormals a secret. When psychotic sorcerer from Icy’s past keeps killing and threatening the secret, the two will be brought together. And the world will never be the same for either of them.

I’ve read several of Audra Hart’s books and I love how she incorporates mythical lore with paranormal romance.
While this book ties in with a lot of the characters we’ve seen in her other books, it can still be enjoyed as a stand-alone story.
The instant connection between Icy, the newest Road Witch, and panther shifter Tony is undeniably hot and sizzling and I loved getting to see some old favorites from the Tulsa Immortals Series.

Icy is a fallen Goddess of Love and War and protector of women of 'Dubious Virtue'.  She is one of The Nine.
Anthony is a detective with an edge, he is a Panther shifter.
Together they take on a serial killer that is killing prostitutes and loose women.  But what they find is darker than what appears.
Can they get the killer before he strikes again?  Will be get his prize, Icy, first?  Can Icy and Tony keep their feelings out of the mix?
Great read and can't wait for Nuna's story.
