Standing over six feet tall, USA Today bestselling author Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair of a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.
He has written the DEMONSOULED series of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write THE GHOSTS sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the COMPUTER BEGINNER'S GUIDE series of computer books, and numerous other works. His books have sold over one million copies worldwide.
As the battle against the so called "Heralds of Ruins rages on between Andomhaim and the Frankish Empire the warden does all that he can by sending add to help the Heralds who've got control over Cintarra. But High king Accolon has also received aid from 10,000 dwarves and as many orcs. Also a knight in service to Ridmark and his little band of those that escaped from Cintarra are trying to make their way to the King; not knowing if there is still a king. But as in all things I guess time will tell. Depending on how all this plays out it could be either the destruction of both the realm of Andomhaim and that of the Frankish empire. Great reading that keeps you wanting more.

As with all these books there is a format of large battles and switching from one characters adventure to another character and their adventure. All of these are well written and flow together easily. Definitely worth reading.
Andomhaim: Moriah and Niall must escape from Cintarra with young Prince Tywall and others. Unfortunately this involves traveling through the deadly Deeps where all kinds of horrors lurk. Their goal is to rejoin the High King.
Ridmark, Calliande and Morigna continue the battle the Dragon Cult and Heptarchy alongside High King Accolon. At one point they return to Tarlion to defend the city and harbor.
Frankish Empire/Owyllain: Third and Rilmael return after helping Ridmark defeat Theophract.
Tyrcamber and Ruari use their abilities as Dragontiarna Knights to do battle for the Emperor. Her mother and his brother cause quite a stir. Rogotha infiltrates the Owyllain camp.
Theuduric/Herald of Ruin; Warlord Agravhask/Shieldruin, Merovech/Stormruin, Aeliana/Ruinheart and Ricatus/Ghostruin - wielders of dark soulblades. They are awaiting the arrival of a fifth herald.
The war is coming together in both worlds. Where will the finale battle take place is anyone's guess. A Damn fine read!!!!! Well done sir really like the back a forth between the Empire and Andomhaim. I really like reading about the Empire an the characters are outstanding.
Remarks and his wife and companions continue their battle against the heralds of ruin and the Warden as the war continues for Andohaim. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next book as the story continues and the last Herald prepares to come to Andohaim
Goodness, this series is actually playing for keeps now and I'm not sure my heart can take it. The action picked up from the first page and while some of the plot twists kept me guessing, others were obvious. However, that didn't detract from the climax, which was drawn out and delicious. The resolution only really set up the next in the series, which I can't wait to read
This books was a fun read and had a few errors. The characters and plot have developed well, but could have been less back and forth with information. This book seemed rushed, but was exciting. It was left unfinished and had some filler aspect too.
Wow, what a series. It gripped me from the first book. Sword and sorcery with goblins , orcs and many others. Main characters to keep the story flowing on the straight and wide lol😁😁
Loved this book. A lot of story lines to follow, and I loved how they kept moving from one to the other without you losing where each one was. Starting the next book in the series, Visionary, and I am so looking forward to reading more.
The plot thickens. All kindred of the known worlds have come together to oppose the Heptarchy. New loves emerge between battles. Treachery between relatives and lovers and new bonds between old foes. Will Andomhaim survive?

This series just gets better and better. With multiple storylines there's always something happening. Great action scenes and plenty of twists and turns. Make this a tremendous read. Definitely recommend
The story switches between the two worlds and continues at a fast pace with lots of twists, the characters are well crafted, it's building towards the end!
