O’Malley’s mate walks into a bar... No, it’s not a joke, his mate is right here in front of him and she needs his help.
Why does Hannah come to O’Malley for help? Because her brother, Karl, told her they were best friends in the army. Only they weren’t friends. The two men could hardly stand each other. That doesn’t stop O’Malley from agreeing to go with Hannah even though his new bar is about to open. When the heart, or his mate, calls a shifter must answer, no matter the personal cost. After all, nothing is more precious than love.
Hannah’s brother is lost in the mountains. When she goes to O’Malley for help, the last thing she expects to find is the love of her life. However, she quickly realizes that is exactly what she’s found. A man who would risk everything for her. Even his heart.
As they track Karl over the mountains, they discover he took the pilgrim’s trail, a route taken by those who are seeking a path toward a new future while leaving their past life behind. As they begin to unravel the mystery surrounding his disappearance it becomes clear Karl might not have survived the pilgrim’s trail.
Can O’Malley and Hannah work together to bring her brother home?
Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
This is a cute shifter romance, with a likable couple, but it suffered from a lack of character development. I wanted more background on both O'Malley and Hannah. It gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded down to 3 stars.
I liked how O'Malley's friends automatically accepted Hannah, and treated her like family. I also liked how they volunteered to help in the search for her brother.
I liked both O'Malley and Hannah, and thought they were good together. I liked how O'Malley automatically accepted Hannah's family as his own.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
I am enjoying this latest Bear Creek series Shifter Seasons. We always meet such interesting characters who have different issues and adventures. O'Malley is just putting the finishing touches on his new bar, opening in one week. He is feeling lonely, since all his friends in the area have found their mates. Then his mate walks in and asks for his help, so everything else is put on hold while he goes to help her find her brother. There are many surprises in store on the way to the happy ending.
The pace is fast, the tone is uncertain yet hopeful and the storyline is character oriented with some steamy scenes. The characters are vibrant and engaging. Read at least this series in order. If you want to get the full effect, read Bear Creek and Bear Bluff box set, then Return to Bear Bluff box set and the many books in the Return to Bear Creek series including many box sets and individual titles. There are also lots of side series set in this area. So you will have plenty to keep your interest, if you like shifter romances with complex characters and lots of twists and turns. Enjoy!
I love the new characters along with spotlights of previous main characters appearances. I was kinda disappointed in this book. It didn’t seem to flow like the previous books in the series. It kinda felt like parts were cut out and the storyline was choppy, unlike the previous books in the series. It didn’t flow smoothly and it didn’t grab you and pull you in like the previous books did. I gave it a slightly higher rating than I should have since it is part of the series and as a whole series I absolutely adored every minute I spent reading them. This one felt like it took forever to get through but worth reading just to keep up with the characters in case if there are more books in this series to come along in the future. I hope you enjoy the series as a whole as I have! The whole series is worth reading since it brings pure joy and lots of laughs with a few tears too.
I don't understand the people who give Harmony Raines' books such high ratings. I find them enjoyable, I always know what I'm going to get, and they're uncomplicated. They're cheap and cheerful and my mother-in-law used to say.
This book, however, had one of my least favorite plot devices for the inevitable problem at the end. The heroine goes home and for some reason doesn't call the hero while she's gone and now he's miserable. She was only gone for three days, but if they're in love wouldn't she want to call him every day, even if just to hear his voice? I think having one character not call the other character while they're apart is unrealistic, particularly in the 21st century. I think it's a standard off the shelf end of book trope and so it seems kind of lazy to use it.
This book is great! It is all about finding out who you really are and what you really want out of life. Hannah comes to O'Malley's hoping to find her brother's best friend and someone who will help her search for her lost brother. She discovers that her brother wasn't exactly truthful about their relationship. O'Malley sees Hannah and knows she is his mate. He is willing to do anything for her. Even if it means going to the Himalayas and search for a man that he hardly knew and who may not even be alive. My only question now is...Who will the next book be about??
O'Malley was almost sure that he would never find his mate , but hope is a hard thing to let go of, especially since all of his friends were finding their mates. However, when a woman walked into his bar and requested his help to go with her to find her brother who had gotten lost in the mountains. She said that her brother had spoken of him often and what a good friend he was. O'Reilly remembered it quite differently, but was not about to contradict anything this lady said, because the answer to all his hope had just walked into the bar and her name is Hannah. Great Read!!
Enjoyable and a grand adventure is had but I felt O’Malley was more invested in this relationship. As a shifter male he obviously was but I felt that Hannah was only giving lip service to being in love and being O’Malleys mate. She didn’t commit to their future and seemed more concerned about her father. All works out well. Glad Karl had found his peace and life’s path. I wonder if Axel will be next. I was kindly offered this book for an honest review but chose to read it through Kindle Unlimited.
Loved it, now all is well in Cougar Ridge and Bear Creek. I just love how things came around for everyone, especially for Hannah and her brother. That's a bond that can't be broken no matter what, especially when you are so close. O'malley now can be at ease because Hannah ain't going nowhere without her man..loved it. Now what's next Harmony, are we still staying around for more shifter finding their mates, or are we moving on. I would love to know..big fan as always Winzie19☺💞.

Together, they will search high and low in hopes of finding Karl. However, what if he has been injured or worse? Will O’Malley be enough for her if they don’t find her brother? This is yet another fun read in this incredible series! Check it out today.
I love all these stores and am on my fourth r mead through for the whole series. Just a couple points, ones that probably been pointed out before. 1. In this story, Jake is referred to as the owner of the sawmill. That should be Mac. Jake if the oldest brother in the Three Silverback Bears and a Baby. 2 in the last story, Joey… Martha was referred to as a non shifter, when in fact she was a Cougar shifter and Hex’s mate. Also it said she gave birth to a boy, when she actually gave birth to a girl named Evangeline. But like a said, totally love this series.
It was good O'Malley finally found his mate. Showing his willingness to help his mate find her brother even though they were not exactly friends truly shows the heart of our nation warriors. I really appreciate the character that Ms. Raines writes into her characters and that so many have served this country. I would recommend this story to any adult reader that enjoys sexy shifter romances.
I absolutely loved this book! O'Mally was a cool cougar shifter who wad opening a new bar in his new favorite town. He watched his friends find their mates, but he never found his ow.n mate. Until in walked the sister of a fellow army recruit. They never were friends, but somehow he left the impression that he would be a good contact if Hanna needed help. She came to him... and found out he was her mate. Great book and great characters!
O'Malley is opening a new bar in Cougar Ridge. All he wants is to find his mate, so he is shocked when she walks into his bar! Hannah is looking for O'Malley to help her find her missing brother. Will they find Karl, themselves, and love? I love this book and series!!!
A well developed storyline and I loved O’Malley’s character. My only complaint is about Hannah...she seemed to want to cry - A LOT! She also seems to continually dwell on her mother’s death which obviously happened many years earlier. All in all, a very enjoyable read!
I enjoyed ripping through this series! I love the continuity of the stories as they build on each other but could easily be read out of order. I skip over the intimate scenes as its a bit graphic for me but they are very descriptive and I am sure well loved. The stories are well plotted with characters easy to like!
Another wonderful story written with Harmony's special touch! Plenty of intriguing twists and different scenery... with a long trip to a different mountain range!
O'Malley is pretty much the last single guy among his friends. He thinks he is going to be alone forever. Until his mate walks into his bar. Hannah needed help to find her brother. He always talked about O'Malley so that's who she goes to. Great story.
This has been a great adventure, action and romance Series I have loved every minute of it !O'Malley: Summer : Shifter Seasons Book 7 By Harmony Raines . I recommend 18 and up .
It was hard for him since everyone found their mates but finally he got his very own. But it was as unexpected cause of her relation 2 her bro. But they went 2 find answers and there r a few surprises in stored 4 them. But it would b a wild ride.
O'Malley is about to embark a new business, a bar in Cougar Ridge, and in walks a surprise. A new adventure involving a search and rescue. Warm characters, community as family, a rich story with determination, love and perseverance. Bravo!! I love to follow the shifters of Harmony Raines.
This is about O'Malley who is a cougar shifter and meets Hannah a human who comes to him for help finding her other Karl. They go through a lot to find him and a long the way these two who are mates get to know one another. Very happy ending.
Another great story line absolutely outstanding - nice to see O'Malley find his mate being he was the last one of the group n that her brother was found - looking forward to Book 8
This is definitely a Hall-Mark romance. O’Malley, not a professional, has to lead his new mate to find her wayward brother. It’s a tiny bit, much. It’s very romantic & sexy. I think this one went a little far for me.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading Han ah & O'Malley's story very much. I love reading a happy ever after story it makes my day. Thank you for writing this story.
