Saving Alan

Rate this book
Lily has been in love with Alan, her best friend’s brother since forever, and moving back to her hometown to set up her dream bakery only helps to cement those feelings, even though she knows he will probably never reciprocate. When she finds out that he is engaged to another woman, she decides it would be best to move on from him. But Melinda, Alan’s fiancée, has a sinister past she is hiding, and it takes one message for Lily to find everything out. Thinking she is helping, she tells everything to Alan just for him to hurt her feelings even more and isolate himself from her. But when he finds that she was telling the truth all along, he cannot stop himself from admitting that Lily was truly the one he loved.

Interesting read...

This one starts off a tad slow, but takes off near the middle. The storyline is really easy to anticipate; the characters are good; plot twist gets kudos; and the HEA was really sweet. A very enjoyable read.

Simple love story.

It was so simple of a story and the ex-girlfriend (fiance) was a good curve. It is a shame that there were so many errors. It was redundant that there were parts of the story I just skipped. Would not recommend this book.

This was ok

The need for the.. She told him the truth and he treated her like dirt.. Who to ask the letter he said he did? This felt rushed and unfinished

Another good story about believable and likeable characters. I have enjoyed reading her other stories and look forward to reading more.

The characters in this book were full of love and wanting to be happy
Watching Lily trying to let go. But still not wanting him to be hurt.
