GAAAH This book! It grabs you so hard and drags you into the world that Laine has created. It is deep, intense and raw. There is such passion that it will make you sizzle. The wit and the banter will have you laughing and swooning. The push and pull that Lizzy and Striker/Connor have is so intense that you get completely engrossed into their story. It was heartbreaking, it was passionate and so much more. As the story plays out and the rabbit hole that they both tumble even further down, it leaves them both vulnerable and when things come to a head and implode, my heart aches. Not just for Lizzy. She had been through so much and for things to get twisted up for her made my heart ache. But also for Connor. The way he feels for her is so heartbreaking because he is just that stubborn.
Overall, this book is high passion, intense moments and so much more that will keep you on your toes and have you devouring the book from start to finish! It has everything you need to keep you wrapped up in their world and leave you begging for more! As it is a duet and with the way it ended, I need the second book stat! I need answers!

Oh dear if you think Kalen and Bailey's story was amazing Connor and Lizzy will blow you out of the water.

Once again I'm trying to write a review for a book I love when all I really want to say is....READ THIS BOOK NOW! Terri E. Laine is an awesome writer that draws you into her books and makes you love her characters. She tells you this incredibly tale of lust, lies, secrets and love. Connor is this hot sexy bad boy you just can't wait to get your hands on and Lizzy is this fiesty girl you want to be. So when the two meet - sparks definitely fly. But with every mysterious meeting there are secrets that come out and no one's heart will be safe.

Love this book and I can’t wait for part 2.❤

Kingdom Come is one of my most anticipated books of the year. After reading about Striker/ Connor in The Kingmaker series, I knew he would be hot as hell, bad boy with a story. Terri E. Lance has a way with her writing that draws you in, gives you a fast, action-packed, sexy tale, and keeps you wanting more. Her alpha men are complex with a soft, sweet side that falls hard.

Striker/Conner is a half brother to Kalen King, the Hot scot billionaire. Elizabeth/ Lizzy Monroe is Bailey’s best friend, who is dating Kalen. Kingdom Come is a stand-alone. However, I recommend reading King Maker series’s first to understand all the Characters and Events.

When Striker first sees Lizzy, he thought she was a spoiled, high-maintenance princess. Lizzy is instantly attracted to him. She is sick of rich guys and is looking for a good time. Stryker is used to a Dom/ Sub relationship. I have to say. Lizzy is my kind of girl, knows what she wants, sassy and fierce. Striker is hot, little on the dark side, Carrying many different faces and secrets.

With a series of events, they reconnect and man what a ride, lust, secrets, lies, drama, and steam. Both want to control, and they don't want to give it up. Lizzy and Striker thought they could walk away from each other. In one long run, their relationship was more than what they both anticipated—what a cliffhanger at the end. Now I have to do a countdown for book two.

Kingdom Come is an utterly addictive, sexy and unputdownable story. It's the first book in a duet with a jaw-dropping huge cliffhanger at the end. I've devoured it within just a few hours. This book has consumed my every waking thought and now I'm obsessed with this fantastic story and totally besotted with these charming and multi-layered protagonists. Author Terri E. Laine's captivating storytelling is on point and will knock your socks off. Her exceptional talent for writing unique stories and creating compelling characters that go under your skin and leave a permanent mark on your heart is something I've always admired.

I'm a hardcore fan of the King Maker series which was hands down one of my top favorite ones of 2019! I've adored Bailey Glicks and Kalen King and have always hoped that Lizzy - Bailey's best friend - and Connor - Kalen's half brother - will get their own love story one day. Imagine how hard I've squeeled after Terri announced that there is going to be not one but two books about them. I've been counting the days to get my grabby little hands on this epic masterpiece and I'm happy to report that Terri has delivered on her promise to give us another power couple to swoon about.

Lizzy Monroe and Striker/Connor King had such combustible chemistry that made me want to jump into ice cold water in order to cool down. I highly enjoyed their verbal sparring as much as their scorching hot bedroom encounters. What I found absolutely entertaining was, that they both had some preconceived notions in regard to each other. Connor thought that Lizzy is a spoiled and high maintenance princess who's not worth the effort while Lizzy on the other hand thought that Striker is a motorcycle gang member and an arrogant jerk who needs to be brought to his knees. It's true that Lizzy was well off and raised to be a nice, proper lady but deep down she's always been a rebel. She wanted Striker to show her a good time and to take her on an adventure. Connor loved that she challanged him constantly and didn't take any crap from him. She was funny and smart and intrigued him more than any other woman ever did. Lizzy didn't expect that there is so much more to the sexy and mysterious Striker than meets the eye. His tastes may be dark and forbidden but they also make her want to test her own boundaries. Despite his brooding nature he made her feel safe and cherished. They thought that they could easily walk away from each other but they were very wrong. What was supposed to be a challenge in the beginning will soon become more than they could have ever bargained for...

Now I'm sitting here biting my nails off because I simply need to know how this story continues! My head is still spinning from all the twists and turns I didn't see coming. I'm curious to find out where Terri is going to take this story and for her to reveal the remaining few layers of Mr. Connor King's complex personality. I recommend this book from the bottom of my heart and strongly encourage you to give it a try! Trust me, you won't regret it. 5+ stars for this top must-read of 2020!

Oh wow, my mind is officially blown once again!!! I thought nothing could come close to the epicness of the King Maker series but Kingdom Come absolutely did. Terri E Laine delivered another fast paced, sexy, intriguing and highly entertaining story. I'm seriously in awe of this author's talent! She has a way with words and knows exactly how to catch her reader's attention and make them fall in love with her protagonists. I've read several of her stories, but the King Maker books and Kingdom Come are by far her hottest. And I mean so hot you're going to need a cold shower and a cigarette later!

Elisabeth (Lizzy) Monroe is a beautiful and smart gallery owner from NY who's looking for fun and adventure. Being bored by nice guys and arrogant suits, she's always pined for the guys who screamed danger. Someone like Striker, the dark, mysterious and sexy biker who ticks off all her boxes. Too bad she's not his type at all.

Striker has many public faces, but only a few have ever seen the real him. He's a man with a lot of obligations and dark, special desires a proper, rich princess like Lizzy could never fullfil. Or can she? Against all reason he agrees on one night with her with no strings attached. But once he gets a taste of the sassy, confident blonde, everything changes...

I loved Striker/Connor and Lizzy beyond words.  The sexual tension between them was palpable on every page. They had crazy chemistry and were dynamite together. I loved their banter as much as their ability to surprise and make each other laugh. Connor never felt intrigued by someone else the way he was by Lizzy. He was a man who needed control and expected full submission in the bedroom from his partner. Too bad she was an independent and confident woman who knew what she wanted and wasn't always following his rules. It's funny how sometimes the person we were never looking for, turns out to be exactly the one we always needed.

If you read the King Maker books, than you certainly know that Striker/Connor King is the half-brother of the Scottish Billionaire Kalen. The one who fell in love with Bailey, Lizzy's best friend. Though you can enjoy Kingdom Come without having read the other series previously, I strongly recommend you to grab them all. It will give you a full picture and make it easier to connect some parts.

Thank you dear Terri for another mind blowing book full of heat, passion and suspense that goes straight to my top favorite reads shelf of 2020. Now I'm sitting on needles and waiting with bated breath to see how Lizzy's and Connor's story continues after that huge, jaw dropping cliffhanger. I'm seriously obsessed with this couple and need them to get their HEA. Book #2 can't come soon enough! 5+ stars

Duets. The bane of my existence. The waiting game for the next book is always a killer. Yet, they are always the best stories. They’ve all got that spark, that addictive quality, the tension, the not knowing, the having to wait. Kingdom Come has all that and more. I loved it. Rich princess Elizabeth (Lizzy) Monroe is determined to make it on her own, without her family’s money, doing what she loves, selling art. She knows what she wants, and when she meets sexy biker Striker in her local bar, a bit of no strings, sexy action might be something else’s she wants, just what the doctor ordered. Striker however, has no interest, or so it seems. In fact, nothing is as it seems. Something’s afoot, and I’m going to have to wait to find out what. Patience is not my strong suit. A fab story, loved all the main characters, not sure about some of the supporting cast, I’m not sure who I trust, I get a feeling someone is going to disappoint me, and hence, put a spanner in Lizzy and Striker’s HEA, if there’s any chance they might get one. There’s going to be a few twists and turns as the story progresses I’m sure. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

'Kingdom Come' is the first part of a duet and ends in a cliffhanger. Told in dual Perspectives , this book was one wild ride for me!!

This is a new to me author book and I am surprised to say that I enjoyed it a lot! The ending was a literal punch to me and I really can't wait for the next book which will have the conclusion of Connor and Lizzy's story.

Lizzy is a good girl who has always been a rebel from the inside. When he meets Connor , she dubs him as the arrogant biker who really needs to be bright on his knees. Connor's opinion of her wasn't that good either. For him , she was a spoilt princess who was a time waste for him. But boy , did their opinions change when they knew each other more!! Connor found a woman with whom he could share his darkest secrets and Lizzy found a man whom could see herself falling in love with.

The banter these two had , had me laughing so hard and the steamy scenes were off the charts hot!! I loved every second of this book and would definitely recommend it to all the contemporary romance lovers out there!

This was my first taste of the All the King’s Sons world and to say I’m addicted is an understatement.

I was hooked on Lizzy and Striker/Connor from the prologue they were both clearly people who got what they wanted and so after how their first meeting went I assumed that these 2 would become quite explosive and oh my, did they ever.

I loved Lizzy, she was a ball of fire and sass and the complete opposite of what Connor had thought was his type because as it turns out this fiery blonde full of sugar and spice and tons of sass was everything he didn’t know he needed. Connor was a hot as sin alphahole that wasn’t used to a woman like Lizzy but what started as physical was abundantly clear that the chemistry between he and Lizzy was much more than either of them bargained for.

Lizzy and Connor had ice around their hearts but the fiery chemistry between them thawed the wall of ice that kept their emotions out and without their consent each had wormed their way into the others feels.

This book consumed me from the prologue the perfect mix of witty banter, a bit of mystery, heart pounding edge of your seat action, intensely hot steamy parts, happy butterflies in your stomach feels, a knife to the heart feels and moments you feel like someone hit you so hard it takes your ability to breathe.

The story of Lizzy and Connor "Striker" King is a strong story, without filters: as soon as they meet, after a few pages of the beginning, they have an unfiltered verbal exchange, where Connor rejects her and calls her “a girl like her only wants to brag her friends about slumming” (not surprisingly he will call her princess several times in the novel).
Theirs is a character clash above all, where both not only want to excel on the other, but also defend themselves from the very strong physical attraction they feel.
Lizzy is a determined, independent woman who is trying to build a career as a gallery owner all by herself and who is not afraid to admit what she wants, including a "well-endowed" man.
She immediately senses a different side of Connor and when she sees only a small part of it, she shares it with him because she trusts him, she feels he will protect her.
Looking deep inside the cover of the book, you can sense that Connor is a dominator and not only: he owns an exclusive and successful sex club, which he created himself and where he is very active, but is also the son of a multimillionaire.
Furthermore there are secrets of his past that in this first volume of the series are not revealed to us, but we understand are also fundamental to his estrangement from the family.
The story is therefore compelling, with alternating POVs, and with Lane's emotional and particular style.
The part about BSDM is more about people and their choices than about the practices themselves, why places like this are frequented and how Connor feels about being such an active part of it.
Finally, the novel is strong as Megan March’s books, which takes us all in one breath.
From the reading we also see parts of the previous King trilogy: we only have to hope that they will all arrive soon in Italy.

«Volevo l’avventura, e dannazione se Striker non era uomo che poteva darmela. Il suo spettacolo di possessività era stato un pò sexy, ma non avrei mai permesso ad un uomo di comandarmi.»

Percepisce subito un lato diverso di Connor e quando ne vede solo una piccola parte, lo condivide con lui perché si fida di lui, sa che la proteggerà.
Guardando moooooooltoooooo bene la cover del libro, si intuisce che Connor è un dominatore e non solo: possiede un sex club di livello esclusivo e di successo, che ha creato da sé e dove lui è molto attivo, ma è anche il figlio di un multimilionario.
A questo si aggiungo segreti del suo passato che in questo primo volume della serie non ci vengono svelati, ma che capiamo essere fondamentali anche per il suo allontanamento dalla famiglia.
La storia è quindi avvincente, con POV alternati, e con lo stile emotivo e particolare della Lane.
La parte sul BSDM è più sulle persone e le loro scelte che sulle pratiche in sé, sul perché si frequentino posti del genere e sul cosa prova Connor a esserne una parte cosi attiva.
Insomma un romanzo forte come quelli di Megan March, che ci prende tutto d’un fiato.
Dalla lettura intuiamo anche parti della trilogia King precedente: non ci resta quindi che sperare arrivino tutti presto in Italia.

Connor (aka Striker) and Lizzy’s story is fast-paced, twisted, suspenseful, intriguing, enthralling, passionate and everything in between. Even though the storyline seems a bit choppy at times and some scenes I would have liked to have been a bit more polished were a bit cut short, I loved the characters and the plot because they are captivating from the first to the last page. This book is a worthy continuation of the King Brothers universe that started with Kalen's story in Money Maker, and a real page-turner, and I can't wait to read the sequel to Connor's story.

I loved that the very first glimpse we get of Lizzy, we see how confident and determined she is in life. She knows what she wants and she goes after it, even if she's not 100% sure.

Striker/Connor also knows what he wants, but he's being pulled apart in so many aspects in his life. He has a lot of obligations many of which are not things he's passionate about.

These two characters are so similar, it's inevitable that they bump heads with each other. Neither of them know how to give up control, so seeing them struggle with each other is very amusing.

I'm very much invested in this story now and in need of the next book ASAP! So glad I discovered this series and author and I'm definitely intrigued for more!

Kingdom Come was my first Terri E Laine novel and I absolutely loved it. Intriguing, steamy and with a little suspense I was hooked from beginning to end, as the story was angsty and had lots of lies, secrets, lust and surprises.
The author will make you fall in love with these characters, and you will soon be consumed with their story. The chemistry between Striker and Lizzy was downright combustible. I enjoyed their back and forth banter as well as their steamy scenes but what I loved most of all was that they could not get enough of each other.
This fast-paced, highly entertaining page turner ends in a cliff hanger and I can't wait for the next book to see how it all ends. I would highly recommend this novel to all romance lovers.

Good grief, this story was intense!!!

From the outset, Kingdom Come had me feeling like Striker and Lizzy were going to be one volcanic couple, full of exploding emotions and fiery, hot and sassy comments. Boy, was I right, these two were an explosive and exciting combination.
This story is filled with tons of chemistry, wicked banter from a couple who love to hate on one another and a touch of drama that adds just an edge of suspense that will keep you reading until the end. Now I need part two. ASAP!!!!

I loved every single thing about this book . . . well except the cliffy at the end but that was to be expected since this is the first book in a duet. But holy heck was this one good. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I couldn’t stop myself from devouring this one if I wanted to. Connor aka Striker and Lizzy are everything and so far, their journey has me captivated. Between the suspense, intrigue, chemistry and steam I could not get enough of these two. I cannot wait to see where the conclusion of their story takes us . . . Kingdom Fall can’t come soon enough.

I actually Beta read this story a while back now I needed to see the final product of this amazing 5 star story.

This is a suspenseful and intriguing story. The chemistry between Stricker and Lizzy is so hot. This is a page turner that will have hooked from the first page read to the last one. This is part of a duet so it does end with a cliffhanger. Rest assured the rest is coming soon enough.

Part 1 of a duet told in a dual POV. I highly recommend this story.

The story is therefore compelling, with alternating POVs, and with Lane's emotional and particular style.
The part about BSDM is more about people and their choices than about the practices themselves, why places like this are frequented and how Connor feels about being such an active part of it.

Finally, the novel is strong as Megan March’s books, which takes us all in one breath.
From the reading we also see parts of the previous King trilogy: we only have to hope that they will all arrive soon in Italy.

I'm pretty new to the Terri E. Laine world but I have to say, Kingdom Come kicked a** & took names as I was in awe of her talent in all of its glory that sucked me in from the jump. We have our wealthy girl Lizzy, who's bored with those good guys, so she wants to take a walk on the wild side with a dangerous bad boy, and Connor, aka Striker, is just that person. He's different as his tastes fall on the darker side, and he has to have absolute control. Now they have some serious chemistry that led to a super HOT HOT HOT night that basically ruined the both so next up is the push & pull of the program. I'm telling you, make sure you have your fan nearby. Then there's the witty banter that lightened up their world, and mine which added so much more to this amazing story. Finally, there's a suspense factor that put me straight into my happy place of dropping f-bombs leading up to a cliffy that seriously tried to kill me dead. The conclusion CANNOT come quickly enough, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Full disclosure, I was so excited to read Kingdom Come. Like buzzing with excitement and then I read the first chapter and I wasn’t fully sure I would like it after all. BUT I know how much I’ve love Terri’s writing in the past, and I will admit I was suffering from a bit of book hangover so I kept reading and by the end of chapter 2 I was HOOKED! I think that I just needed to find my groove with Lizzy and Striker. Lizzy’s headstrong attitude hints at the softer side within that needs a protector and Striker’s tough on the outside I think is a cover for a heart of gold. At least when it comes to Lizzy. These two have off the chart’s chemistry, there is no denying the heat that pours off of them. There is a lot that was hinted at both of their pasts, but I think that part one of this duet is only scratching the surface of what this pair could be. Lizzy and Striker are a match made perfectly for me, this is a quick, hot, and sexy read with a dash of mystery and danger that I can’t wait to see play out fully!

Wholly fudge ducks.... yeah I said fudge ducks. You are going to be in for a check of a journey with this book. There's so much to say but Damon I can't form the words. We got introduce to these two in money man where you got big brothers story, but this is about little brother Conner. You get to see his gruff side as he falls for her and it twist him up. But as he's twisting up so is lizzy.. she does t want the attachment but it came to her till one thing broke them apart.

You thought I was going to spill but guess what I'm not you have to read this book. I couldn't put it down now I'm having book hangover till the next part of Conner and lizzys stories are reviled.

Kingdom Come by Terri E Laine was an highly addictive story I just couldn't put down. After reading the King Maker series I was so excited to see that Lizzie and Striker/Connor would get their own books.

Lizzie and Striker had such an amazing chemistry. Lizzie is this beautiful, smart and independent young women and Striker has a bit of a dark side. He's pegged Lizzie as a princess who wouldn't be able to handle his world if only he knew how wrong he was.

What an ending to this book I'm sat here trying very patiently to wait for book 2 but in all honesty it can't come soon enough.

When I read the King Maker series, I fell in love with all of the characters and was hoping we would get Lizzy story. And it was worth the wait.
What happens when Controlling and Broken meet...
Lizzy is a strong sexual woman. Always wanting control. When she is put in danger with Bailey, she meets Striker.
Striker is all Alpha and control. Not wanting to be like is father, he has created his own identity.
Trouble stirs when the two blur.
This book is a cliff hanger but well worth the read.

AMAZING!!

Terri, you did it again!! Connor and Lizzy’s story is great so far!! I love their chemistry, and the push/pull of their relationship is so great!! I couldn’t put it down once I started reading!! This is definitely a must read along with the Money Man series if you have not read any of them yet!! I would give it 10 ⭐️ if I could!!
