Author Avery North is a romance author who is very passionate about writing and prides herself in giving her readers what they want. She writes short, steamy and sweet romance stories which includes alpha males and super vivacious women.
This is the sixth book in the Darlington Brothers Series and might be the best one yet. I loved Joey and Sasha's story. It was intense and passionate at times. Their chemistry was electric and they were so made for each other. Lots of tension and drama from his business partner Carey who was determined to keep Joey for herself. Until Sasha, Joey has been content with friends with benefits. Secrets and self-doubts add to the suspense and drama. A good book that I know you will enjoy. The book is well-written and keeps you guessing. The characters are multi-layered and interesting. I read a free book via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Avery North has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Sasha and Joey. Joey is the youngest of the Darlington brothers and he has just opened his Interior Design Business. He hired his friend Carey. She has always had a thing for Joey and one day she comes in and tells him that they can have a friend with benefits relationship with no strings. At first, Joey is unsure about this but he ends up doing it. He has decided he needed an assistant and he looks at all the resumes and settles on the one from Sasha Brightly. He calls her and asks her to come in for an interview. She tells him she doesn't have the money for a round trip flight just for an interview. Joey tells her that he will send the Darlington jet for her and put her up in a hotel. After they meet, Joey offers her the job. Sasha tells him that she just lost her parents and that she is getting ready to sell her family home. Joey tells her that he will make a call and he can have Darlington realty sell it for her if she wanted. After they work together for a while, things heat up between them and they end up together. This makes Carey mad, she thinks of Joey as hers and she is not going to let Sasha have him. Sasha doesn't know that Carey and Joey have slept together until Carey tells her. This hurts Sasha and she walks away from Joey and his company. She doesn't have anything to do with Joey and she puts her house up for sale with another realty company and leaves the area cutting all ties with the Darlington's. Joey sees Sasha again when Carey enters them in a contrast. When she sees him she is not happy. Carey ends up telling her that Joey was hurt when she left and that once he started seeing her that he stopped seeing Carey. Sasha and Joey end up talking and said they would take things slow. Joey lets Sasha wear his jacket one night and forgot to get it and when she takes it back to him, Carey answers the room door in a robe. Sasha lost it and told Joey to forget that he ever knew her and walks away from him and checks out of the hotel and leaves. Things are not what Sasha thinks between Carey and Joey but she won't listen. Carey knows that what she had with Joey will not lead to anything more so she needs to do something to get them back together. Can Joey get Sasha to hear him out over the mixup with the room with Carey? Will Sasha give Joey a second chance? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Joey Darlington is the last unmarried brother of the six. He has always been interested in playing the field and not settling down with one women, until now. After watching all of his brothers find women they love and start families, Joey wants something more.
Carey Williams is an old friend who comes to work for Joey's new company, Designs By Joey. She mutually agrees to be friends with benefits. It definitely doesn't hurt that after growing up poor Joey is a way to get the money and status she desires.
Joey loved the benefits until he met Sasha Brightly. She, a recent graduate with a degree in Interior Design, is looking for a job and is hired by Joey. Pulled in by his eyes, she thinks he is beautiful. He too is captivated by her. It will be very difficult to keep it professional.
Joey spends as much time with her as he can making up excuses to be with her. He is falling hard and fast for Sasha. She is letting Joey into her heart after swearing off all men. Carey is jealous and needs to find a way to get rid of Sasha. She decides to tell Sasha about her "benefits" with Joey.
Book 6 of the Darlington Brothers series shows that love doesn't run smoothly. Joey and his brothers all share a great relationship and they provide him with support and guidance. After a rough patch when he doesn't know where to find her, Joey and Sasha are thrown together by fate and have to work together. Will something else tear them apart?
Joey learned romance well from his brothers and he does a great job sweeping Sasha off her feet. After being hurt, Sasha's reactions to Joey are predictable but you can cut her a break because she is young. Joey is a story about finding and taking a chance on love again to find their happily ever after. This fun read is the end of the series and the Darlington's go out in style.
Joey Darlington was everything and more all she Sasha ever wanted to do is to work for him he inspired her and he was hiring for a new assistant as well as being very, very handsome. She was shocked when he called her and ask if she could come for an interview and when he found out why she couldn't come just for an interview when she lived in Idaho, he made concessions for that reason and the fact that her parents died a month before her graduation from college she was thinking of selling her parents house and finding an apartment in town but after her interview and discussing it with Joey she let Darlington handle the sale of the house for her. After talking to Sasha he was sure that she designed in the way that he did and that alone excited him and then when he meets her after he sends the Darlington Jet for her. They are both taken with each other and he hires her. She is so taken with him that she gets scared and lets him know that she doesn't want a relationship that might go bad with her boss but he knows that she is a very special woman he wanted to see where it would go and she seemed willing to give it a try. But Joey never forgot that he needed to tell Sasha about Carey his sales rep and their agreement. Carey didn't really want Sasha there because Joey was spending all his time with her even Carey knew that she and Joey were only friends. Joey is looking for love and knows he has found it when disaster strikes and confessions are made, Sasha disappears. But things are not always as they seem. An interesting book of romance, suspense and design. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Avery, Avery, Avery why do you do this to us? You write these books and we get so into them we lose track of our surroundings. Husband, "Honey, the house is on fire!" Me, "Just give me ten more minutes and i'll get it." I mean really? But besides that little drawback, oh and the house, this is another fantastic installment in the Darlington Brother's saga. Now in this one Joey is starting an interior design business and he is working closely with his very good friend, I mean very very closely. He "benefits" a lot from her. So when this absolutely gorgeous woman, Sasha walks in, Joey is totally struck. He has to get to know her. He likes everything about Sasha. But...the afore mentioned, very, very beneficial good friend, yeah, she's not happy for Joey. Nope, in fact she's more toward the "Oh hell no" stage. So, now she has to figure a way to make Joey's little Miss Sasha see the sign, the one that says EXIT. Yep, you definitely need to read this book. Besides being incredibly well written and extremely entertaining, it's part of an awesome series. So, that being said, you need to start with book one so you can get all the juicy details on the other brothers. But if you don't want to, you'll still really enjoy this book. But, think of it this way, why get a taste of your favorite dessert when you can have a full serving. Okay, so last but not least, remember, if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first.
💣💣 ONE EXPLOSIVE WILD RIDE💣💣 Blazing blizzard! Avery brought out the heavy artillery, delivering this electrifying rollercoaster ride with all the traps, snags and devious intents, keeping you riveted and frozen to your seat, blasting this jewel to a whole new level. Sparks ignite as sizzling drama, captivating intrigue, burning jealousy, damning secrets, scorching suspense and thrilling situations, along with a boatload of revelations, blasting this baby to life brilliantly. A tumultuous vortex chocked-full of intimidating struggles and challenging triumphs, noting the dramatic twists and intricate turns, exposing the adorable quirks and defying bents, melding this gem together flawlessly. The attraction and chemistry collides with such force, baring explosive emotions and undeniable affections, binding them together flawlessly. The characters, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits add depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels you were transported to ground zero with them. Remarkable job Avery, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
The baby Darlington finally grows from a boy into a man
Joey is the sixth and last book in the Darlington Brothers series. This is the story of Sasha Brightly and Joey Darlington. This novella is a wonderfully written and very entertaining story. The story-line was nicely developed and the characters were all interesting, even when you wanted to butt kick one in particular. Joey is adorable even if he is having fun playing the field and using the infamous Darlington good looks to do so. Sasha's story will break your heart and bring more than a few tears to your eyes. But when they meet and things spark between them you just hope that Joey will not play her also. So when some things start to kick-off, as there is a love triangle in the making, it makes you want to just grab Sasha and give her a big hug while boxing Joey's ears. But the baby boy of the family finally grows up and becomes a man with Sasha. This story is a charmer, just like all the Darlington brothers. There is some drama, romance, family, emotion and a lot of sizzling chemistry. I enjoyed this book and am sorry this is the last of the series.

Wonderful love story. I was looking forward to Joey's story & wasn't disappointed. Following her parents death & graduating Sascha was making a fresh start in a new city doing her dream job at Joey's designs. Joey was still single began a friends with benifits agreement with his friend Carey but when it became clear to Carey that Joey had feelings for Sascha jealousy saw her determined to ruin this & get rid of Sascha. Carey told her about the arrangement she had with Joey knowing he hadn't told Sascha she got what she wanted when Sascha left both her house, job & city only it backfired when Joey told her it was over & they would only ever be friends. He loved Sascha & tried to get her back but he couldn't find her she had disappeared from his life but as if it was fate they were brought together at a design competition then just it seemed she might give him a second chance another secret involving Carey saw her leaving him again. I really thought they were never going to be together & couldn't stop reading the rest of the book dedperate to know what happened to them.

Joey is the last in the Darlington Brothers Series and he is also the last single brother. When he hires newly graduated Sasha as his assistant, it is love at first sight for this Darlington and he now realizes how his brothers must have felt when they me "the one". Sasha is recovering from the recent death of her parents and then soon after, she is dumped by her boyfriend so she is reluctant to begin a "new" relationship with the charming and handsome Joey Darlington even though there is something about him she finds she can't resist. There are ups and downs in their relationship and Ms. North throws in the perfect antagonist to their relationship with Carey, the sales associate who works along with Joey. Great writing and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all about the Darlington Brothers and sad this is the last book. Knowing Avery North I hope I won't have to wait too long for her next delicious book or series!
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
Joey is the last in the series. I have read half of the books so far and plan on getting the whole set. This story has love, romance, drama, heartache. Joey doesn't see himself as a man with one woman and hires Carey who ends up being friends with benefits. This is a great setup for Joey until he realizes he wants what his brothers have. Family. Joey hires Sasha as she is a graduate for interior design and as they work together Joey starts to develop feelings for Sasha. Sasha returns these feelings towards Joey and Carey isn't about to have all that. She tells Sasha about her and Joey's friends with benefits in order to keep Joey for herself. Carey wants what she can get from Joey. Sasha is hurt by this so she breaks things off with Joey and bolts. If you want to see what happens I suggest you hurry up and get this last book in this great series.

The best one of the series, yet! Sasha just graduated from college with a degree in interior design, plus within a few weeks, she lost her parents and her boyfriend. Now she applied to Design By Joey, the youngest of the Darlington brothers. Joey is looking for an assistant with as much drive as he has and he thinks he found it in Sasha. They meet for an interview and she has the job. The characters are terrific, with intense feelings, beliefs, determination and goals. The families and friends are fiercely tight knit and great support. The stress/suspense comes from the communication end of the relationship, mainly Joey and Carey not telling about their relationship right from the start and again later. Fun times like the huge decorating contest keep it upbeat. The ending was definitely the best yet. If we are done with the brothers, are there maybe some cousins left?

Joey Darlington is the last of the brothers books. He has an eye for interior design, and although he does all the staging for Darlington realty, he has opened his own design shop separately.. shortly after opening, he hires Sasha. They hit it off immediately, finding some common ground with her loosing her parents just prior to her graduation from collage. Joey quickly finds himself falling for her, and she finds the same. But Joeys best friend with benefits is jealous.... Honesty is always the best policy and these two could have avoided a lot of hurt but eventually they find their way. The only thing I did not like abiut this book was knowing that it is the end of the series. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!!!

I have really enjoyed reading Joey: Darlington Brothers Series Book 6 by Avery North because it was a steamy and intense story about Joey and Sasha. Joey owned his own design company and Sasha was looking for a job as a designer. They meet and he offers her the job. Joey and Carey also work together and they are friends. Carey is a very jealous woman. She was mean and I really didn't like her at all. I liked that all these books intermingle the other characters from the books in the series. There was a lot of steam between Joey and Sasha. I highly recommend reading this book and the series of the Darlington Brothers. I also love the cover photo of Joey. This is how I pictured him to look like. He is definitely a heartbreaker for sure with those eyes.

Joey Darlington, Sasha Brightly, and a love story in the middle.
**Presented with an ARC from the author via BookSprout in exchange for an honest review.**
There’s a sweet predictability to this latest installment of the Darlington Brothers series. Being a shorter story, a novella, there’s a lot that takes the lace in a short time. Within the first three chapters, the set up for the main character (Joey Darlington) and his “friend with benefits” is introduced, followed in short order by the love interest, her back story, and their meet cute.
It’s a good story, mixing together steamy sex with a wholesome love affair turned marriage. It’s a page-turning quick read that keeps you coming back for more chapter after chapter.
If you like Victoria Michaels, Victoria Pinder, or Laura Burton, you are sure to enjoy this book!
Oh my, Avery North has done it again!!! The sixth book in the Darlington brothers saga is another winner. Joey the youngest Darlington son was encouraged from an early age to express himself artistically by staging houses that were for sale. That is what he loved to do, his mother was still alive and he would stage houses she was selling. She encouraged him to go to design school. When he graduated he became the official stager for Darlington Realty. Later on he launched Designs by Joey to expand his business. Sasha Brightly has recently graduated from school when she put in an application to work at Designs by Joey. She got the job. Joey and Sasha work well together and fall in love. A misunderstanding breaks them up and it does not look like they will get back together. You will have to read Joey to find out what happens. I must say I felt a sense of sadness when I finished Joey. With the prologue book the series was 7 books and Joey was the last one. I loved this series so much I hated for it to end. Avery North just grabbed you and brought each of the Darlington boys to life in her books. Well done Ms. North, this is the best series I have read from you !

Joey Darlington just started his own design company and hires his long time friend Carey who he has a friends with benefits arrangement. He also needs a new designer so he hires recent graduate Sasha who he immediately has an attraction for and before long they start a relationship and he has told Carey that their arrangement has come to a end. Carey gets jealous and tells Sasha about her full relationship with Joey so Sasha is hurt that he was not honest with her so she quits and moves which leaves Joey heartbroken until they meet again at a design competition where they have to work together. I really liked Sasha but Joey was a jerk in the way he treated both women but in the end he humbled himself with Sasha and told her how much he cared for her.
It was truly enjoyable to read about the youngest Darlington Brother. Needing another designer for his business, Joey hires newly graduated designer Sasha. Joey and Sasha have feelings for each other, making Carey jealous. Friends with Carey for years, Joey and Carey had made a pact: sex whenever one of them needs it. It works for a while until Sasha comes to work for Designs by Joey and Carey decides to get rid of her. Joey hasn't told Sasha about the arrangement between Carey and himself yet. Carey tells Sasha who takes it incorrectly and then the fun begins. Highly recommended for all lovers of the Darlington Brothers books!

He's the youngest of the Darlington brothers, and he's been playing the field. As he watches his brothers fall in love, he begins to want the same for himself. Carey is his longtime friend, now a friend with benefits, and works for him in sales. Sasha's parents died in a car accident, and the love of her life dumped her. She's trying to move on in a new location when Joey hires her. He learns one of life's most important lessons - honesty is the best policy - when he finds himself in the middle of a love triangle. This is the last book in the series, and I'm sorry to see it end. Patricia would be happy to see the way her sons' lives have turned out.

This is the final book in the Darlington Brothers series. It has been a fantastic series, and I’m very sad to see it end!! We get a final goodbye with Joey, the youngest Darlington Brother. This was a great end to this series!! I recommend this book!!
Joey, the youngest Darlington Brother, opens an interior design business. He enlists his good friend Carey to help. Carey has always had feelings for Joey, so she proposes a no strings attached arrangement, which he agrees to. While looking through resumes, for an assistant, he comes across Sasha. She gets the job. Joey and Sasha end up developing feelings for each other. This is not good news to Carey.....
This is the 6th book in the Darlington Brothers series, and what a series it has been! It seems that the Darlington brothers love of their lives is very hard to pin down. There is misunderstandings, secrets, revenge and jealously, then to top it off, their women are feisty! Having said all that, this is Joey and Sasha's story. Having a love triangle normally ends in tears for one of them and this is no different. Probably the moral of the story is to be honest! Joey meets Sasha when he hires her, instant chemistry. Carey friend with benefits also works for Joey and is not happy that Sasha is on the scene, so she sets about trying to change things. Will Joey and Sasha get their HEA?

I see Ms. North has jump back in the saddle with this baby. We get suspense, a whole lot of drama, sweet moments, instant attraction, a few stalker issues but overall a down to earth believable romance. Joey is finally getting his dream off the ground. When his friend Carey comes to work for him they;re not only friends but friends with benefits. When Sasha comes into the picture, all bets are off. Now all he sees is Sasha and Carey isn;t having that. Now comes the drama but so much more. If you;re looking for that little something extra, look no farther. You;ll love this series.

what a book to finish this series with. A real heart breaker on and off again with his girl. They make the ideal couple, but there is a snake in the grass causing trouble for her. He does make mistake by not telling the truth. Will she forgive him and will they end up together in the future. I`m sure they will.
I think this series is one of the best I have ever read, so thank you so much for this Avery. The characters worked well together in all the books and I had a wonderful connection with them all. I didn`t find any holes in the plot of any of the six books or any spelling mistakes either.
I do recommend this series for people over the age of 18+
I am going to miss the Darlingtons. Joey was the last brother and his story. For some reason men think friends with benefits relationships are good. WRONG. Joey gets caught up in one and then she turns jealous. Joey hires an assistant who just happens to be his one. How they get through all the drama makes this a great read. I am biased I love the Darlingtons. I hope Avery North brings them back. All the brothers are great characters and that they are all there for each other. The story line was great. Very sad that there are no more brothers.

Joey Darlington owns as interior design business and hires on Sasha. Things get hot between them but Carey his FWB, gets real jealous. This book was great. It certainly had heaps of drama and tension. Sasha was flighty and had a few issues to deal with, not to mention being plotted against. I enjoyed the three together facing off against each other. Then meeting again later bought a great ending to the book. It didnt have many steamy scenes, but what was there was great and progressed the story well. This story really was fantastic!

The 6th book in the Darlington Brothers series is Joey’s story. He is an interior designer and stages the properties that the Darlington Realtors sell. As the story begins, he has just opened up his own business with the help oh his friend, Carey, and is in need of another designer to work for him. Sasha is interviewed and gets the job. Joey and Sasha have an instant connection and begin a relationship. Things get interesting when a misunderstanding between Joey and Carey comes to light. This is a very good book (and series) and I really enjoyed it. This review is based on a complimentary pre-release copy from BookSprout
I've enjoyed this series very much. Joey is the last single Darlington left and Joey finally owns his own design company and Sasha, a recent graduate, is looking for a designer job. After meeting Joey offers her a job. Carey is also working with Joey and are friends. Carey isn't happy about Joey and Sasha being together. As every relationship they have their ups and downs and then you throw in a jealous friend and you get some misunderstandings. I love how Joey goes after Sasha and they work together to fix their relationship. There is plenty of steam between these two. I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Joey is the youngest brother and does the staging in the houses they sell in the real estate business. He has his own interior design business and Carey works for him. They also have a friend with benefit relationship. One day a graduate of design comes in to ask about a job and Joey takes one look at Sasha and falls instantly. The two are attracted and become closer but Carey isn’t happy. She wants him and sets out to break them up. After talking to Sasha are they over or will Joey wonder what’s happening as no one told him? Will they talk and find out that they belong together?

Dang the last of the Darlington brothers! You’ve got everything you need to buy and decorate a house with this family and they are great. Joey is in a friends with benefits and needless to say she gets jealous of another woman. Why guys always think friends with benefits is good is beyond me...someone always gets hurts. Anyway with that in mind and other things can Joey and Sasha make it or will they be broken by jealousy and other things ?
