Read in one sitting, so good if you're looking for a And Then There Were None style murder mystery

One of the worst books I have ever read and yes it does somewhat compare to And then there were none because it's as ridiculous and as pointless with the way things unfold, no proper reasoning to be invested in anyone and omg the format the format just drobw me nuts.

The who is listening to what song and I could not skip that shit in audiobook was my curse.

First of all weird that the only version of this book I can find on here is the “ebook sampler” and not the actual book but whatever. 3 stars for being an easy mystery read. I figured out who did it about 2/3 of the way through and was fine with it because I did not like that character very much.

I read this a while ago but I tell everyone this is my favorite book it was quite the page turner. Different perspectives, a classic “whodunnit”, I love Ruth Ware and the way she writes her stories and how fulfilling their endings are!

This was a good book to read over a hot long weekend as it takes place in a snowed in ski chalet. As usual, Ruth Ware delivers her mystery and murder in fine fashion. What I like about her books is that the ultimate reveal makes sense. Some authors serve up a solution so convoluted that even the most astute reader-sleuth would never see it coming. Not so with Ms. Ware. The murderer was obvious enough but the journey to the reveal and the outcome are classic murder mystery. This has a well earned place on anyone's beach read list.

I can’t remember the last time I read such an awful book. Incredibly boring and a struggle to finish.

Slow burn. When it gets going it gets better. Be prepared to get to page 90ish and not a lot has happened. I’m glad I finished it though. It’s not Ruth Wares best work.

Well let's just say I sacrificed my sleep schedule to finish this book. It's fast paced and very well made with regards to this kind of book: a load of characters, but only a few get introduced, which made it easier to suspect. The one flaw was maybe the transition from Liz being small and innocent to the actual fucking killer. I felt it was too sudden and not well made, even if her alibi was good.

But i couldn't put it down, and that's exactly what I wanted.

For me, this was a read in one sitting book. It’s been a read in one sitting book multiple times! When the weather gets cooler and I’m looking for an escape, this is the book I pick up. The characters pull you in and the scenery and setting are beautiful. The plot twists and turns just like a fast and daunting run down a ski mountain, cold and brutal but exhilarating. A must read, probably Ruth’s best!

This is the best book I have read so far this year. I enjoyed the story line, the setting and the characters. It is easy to read and kept the pages turning into the early hours. This is the 1st book I have read by this author and will be reading more

A good read for sure but not Ware's best...
However, after downloading a whole slew of books from my library and finding no satisfaction in any of them I am grateful for this one.

I'm giving this 3 stars not because it's a great story but because Ruth Ware's characters are well developed and her descriptions are vivid and engaging. The mystery was just not very good.
