Black cats and witches and ghosts — oh my!It's all kinds of spooky, Shenanigans style. Kitty Sweet’s been a cat for a while now. Long enough to have forgotten what her real name is and even what her real form is. Perhaps a cat is all she’s ever been and all she’ll ever be. That would be a shame, though, because she just met the man of her dreams.Logan’s given up on ever finding a mate. He’s resigned himself to a lonely life and takes comfort in knowing his sister, at least, has found happiness. Then he meets Kitty Sweet. So she’s not exactly the companion he’s been hoping for (she’s a cat after all), but at least she keeps the loneliness at bay.The witches have a plan though, if only they can keep room thirteen under wraps and that darn poltergeist from stirring the cauldron.
Sadly, Pepper was not born a shifter. She dreams of being adopted (or mated) by one, but until such a glorious day arrives, she consoles herself by writing about shifters instead.
Either that, or she really IS a shifter and is just pretending NOT to be a shifter, to protect her people.
Whether the former or the latter is anyone's guess, but either way, she's living her absolute best possible shifter-life.
Kitty Sweet has been a cat so long she's forgotten her other form and her name. She wouldn't mind staying a cat if she hadn't just found the man of her dreams. Logan is a fairy who has given up on finding a mate. When he meets Kitty Sweet, he's entranced and doesn't care that she's just a cat because she stems his loneliness. But the witches have a plan for Kitty. However, they also have to deal with room 13 and a pesky poltergeist.
This has been an awesome series and this book is no exception. This lighthearted paranormal romance was well-written with well-rounded characters. This book also has humor and some intrigue to go along with the romance. I was drawn in and kept hooked on this quick, fun read. I'm really looking forward to the next book.
I like Logan and Katie, however I am liking Lily less with every story she shows up in. Her idea of a prank is completely unacceptable because she doesn’t know when to stop. She crosses the line and her recklessness endangers everyone. Also Harry continues to be too stupid to live because he keeps provoking Lily even though he knows she will do terrible things when she’s angry with him. Basically when these two show up it ruins the story.
