I loved this book!!! I found myself cracking up multiple times while reading it because I did not know what was going to happen next. This book is another great book for Kids imagination!! This book shows kids that it is alright to have some competition if only it is friendly competition in the end!! I love that message for kids. I would also recommend that kids read this book by themselves so that way they can look at the wonderful pictures and the monkey and the duck as the story progresses!!

A young girl on her bike races a monkey to their house. The last one home "is a green pig." This is the first book I ever read by myself. I read it over, and over, and over, and over. That being said, I grew to hate it. The story itself is very cute and I'm sure I wouldn't have minded it so much if I weren't constantly being asked to read it aloud. As a middle-aged adult, I still remember sitting on our couch reading aloud and wishing I could start a different story.

Fun little book. I read it the other day. My favorite part was when the monkey was on the horse and they are trying to catch the duck on a bus. The horse says to the monkey "I can't run that fast. Here take a taxi" and a taxi pulls up out of nowhere. lol! The pictures are great. Lots of cool racing too. Now I can understand my wife a little bit more. Green pig, green pig!
