Black Sheep by Mr. Brant Menswar is a self help guide to transform  your  life,  thoughts  and  beliefs. It is a book that I felt takes this up through a unique approach . ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It is to activate the most important core values within you— what  the author   calls our “Black  Sheep  Values”—and  use  them  to  choose and fulfill our purpose.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
What I understood is 'Black Sheeps' are the non negotiable values of ours , the original traits we have as an unadulterated person that cannot be manipulated. The things that we cannot live without and to consider our raw emotions , values and feelings while taking a decision towards purpose of life . In course of life we get smeared with many colours and we forget who we are, our needs , goals which actually paves a path to unhappy life. But a black sheep cannot be coloured. The basic thing is to figure out your originality. From there your decision power , motivation , getting a clear vision starts . ⁣⁣
Author tells us to figure out why we have  to start  with  what. Our  what  is our  core values, which dictate our  why  (our  purpose), which governs our how (our mission, or the actions we take to live out that purpose). ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Concepts and points are put into highlighted paragraphs and tables to make it more comprehensive. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Finding our black sheeps help us not get swayed away by temporary feelings and thus remain in our main path. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
People who are looking for an applicable self help guide which is brief , to the point may pick this book up . ⁣⁣

“A black sheep’s wool cannot be dyed. It is 100% authentically original.”

As someone who has been described, and not always flatteringly, as a black sheep I was looking forward to this book as being some kind of mutual admiration society for those who stand out. Kind of a, ‘it's awesome that you are different and the fact that people don’t get you is on them not you’. That is what I was expecting and what I was hoping for. That is not what I got.

Brant Menswar, musician, speaker, and author of Black Sheep - Unleash the Extraordinary, Awe Inspiring, Undiscovered You, wrote a book about values, principals, self awareness and self discovery and dressed it all up in a sublime black wool.

“Your purpose fuels your commitment to action.”

Told with purpose and passion, Black Sheep is a book that goes straight for the heart. And at the heart of you is your ‘what’, not your why. It is Menswar’s belief that finding our why hinges on knowing our what. What we believe, what we stand for, and what we stick too.

Written with pace and vivid clarity, Black Sheep will help you to discover the power of your principles. How leaning on and into them will help you make life's hard and complex decisions with greater self assurance, consistency and direction. That by knowing what your Black Sheep values are you are better able to know where you stand and how you will hold that space when things get tough.

“Finding and encouraging your black sheep is a key to better decisions, a better life and a better world.”

Often raw and revealing, Black Sheep is a book that stays with you long after you have closed the cover. In its simplicity lies its strength. In its efficiency comes its effectiveness and with its honestly comes forth its mission. To help you discover and embrace the power of the unique set of values that make up your own individual character. That by knowing who you are, you are better able to know what to do when faced with the challenges we encounter.

This might not be the book you are expecting when you pick it up, but by the time it is done, you will be glad that you did.

Overall Score: 4.0 / 5.0

In a Sentence: It is in your undiscovered core values where your black sheep lives and you thrive.

Clever, insightful, and honest! I was unprepared for the hard look at finding the core values in life. It's eye-opening with constructive processes anyone can follow to be successful in finding what matters the most, what's important, and how to put that information to work in your life. Read it. Do it. You won't be sorry.

It's time to wake up.....

Black Sheep by the author Brant Menswar is a Self Help book. In this book author has given analogies of a black sheep to motivate and empower us. We all have the power to activate core values or black sheep values and we can use these values to achieve our goals in life.

We only have to determine our core values and our purpose. Once we determine this, we can move closer to our mission.

We all have something extraordinary in us and we can make our unique contribution to the world. This book has motivated me to start working towards my purpose. The book is written well. Writing style of the author is amazing. Cover page of the book is decent and eye catchy. It may make you wonder what the black sheep is. But one could actually understood the title after reading this book.

This book will help in transforming your life, thoughts and beliefs. Give a try to this book and thank me later for recommending.

Black Sheep Review 🗣️

It's an amazing book written by Brant Menswar & Published By Page Two Books, Inc. It has about 160 Pages.

It's an amazing book about discovering yourself. How you can find your purpose in life. It reminds me of Ikigai.

It includes many stories, personal incidents of author, and many example. So once you start reading there is no way you're gonna put it down easily.

Author has really narrated this concept and his personal experience very nicely and the writing story is also very good and error free.

The cover of the book is also good and looks very amazing.

Overall it's an amazing book and I highly recommend this book to all the readers.

I didn't thought this book will going to be this good. It was , as you might expect , valuable , a total different piece of work of non-fiction from every aspect.
It sets a very high bar for whatever he does that comes next.

Have you ever felt that the line "What's your why?" just wasn't a good fit to finding your ideal purpose? This author contends that it's not your "WHY" but your "WHAT" that really matters.

At first I thought it was just another line, but after reading the book I see it, and it's true. We define what our life's purpose is based on a lot of things, but if we don't know what are truly non-negotiable values in our life, those core values that MUST be true no matter what, we may not be able to truly define our particular flavor of being. When we know what those core values are we start making conscious choices based on those values, and owning those core beliefs (truths) sets us free.

I appreciated the flow of the book and walking us through to the conclusion of making our consciously driven life a reality!

Kind of a basic book, this was gifted to me as a Christmas present. Very easy to read, but I did not find any of the writing or discoveries to be ground breaking. One positive takeaway I have from this book is that one must find their core values in life or your non-negotiables. Good decisions arent based on the outcome. We can not control the outcome of any action. Good decisions are based on our intention of the action. Wether we have chosen to follow our non-negotiables or not.

This is an easy read, which I loved. I really enjoyed the quotes and loved sharing them. I felt like it was well written and in a good order. Each chapter ends with tips and/or questions to reflect on.

First part was good but not fond a foul language in a book. Got one good lesson out of it so I’ll consider it a half win
