I first heard about this author when she was a guest on a podcast I listen to. Since then I have been checking out her blog, and recently found that her book was available through my local library.
I was excited by the concept of using art history to inspire children’s art projects, since I studied art history and early childhood education. This book exceeded my expectations! The quick art history lessons, the step by step instructions, and even alternatives for younger ages on some projects…it was all beautifully put together and has so many wonderful ideas to guide you through making art that honors a diverse range of creators. Loved it!
