Brodie and Gabby meet at a car show in Vegas when both are there for the same car. When Gabby wins it for her client Brodie tries to buy it from her. They end up connecting with each other over cars. Gabby offers Brodie a chance to come and help her with the rebuild of the car which he jumps at. However Brodie has been keeping a secret from Gabby and being out to her state to visit her puts him in danger. But he doesn't want to lose her so he takes the chances. Will Gabby be upset with him for his secret? Can they find a way to be together?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Finding his dream girl and the future he only ever dreamed about
Lickety Split is the fourth and final book in the Cocky Cobras series which is about the four McKinley brothers who are all cobra snake shifters. This book is about Gabby Foster and Brodie McKinley. As with all of the brothers Brodie is a car nut but his is a bit different as he has had one specific dream about his future since he was a kid. So he has put his talent for customizing cars to good use and made quite a name for himself with people bringing their cars to him from all over to restore and customize. Brodie has always wanted to work in Hollywood building and customizing cars for the movies. But he has also had one other quest in life and for the last five years he has been on the hunt for it....a 1954 Corvette from a James Bond movie he saw a a young kid. So he has come to Las Vegas for a car show as there is a rumor the car will be up for auction. Brodie has saved all his money and has 250k with him to spend on the car and a determination that he will be leaving with it. What he had not expected was to go against a young woman in a bidding war for the car.
Gabby comes from a car family in San Fransisco. Her father had started a garage which her older brother was expected to take over but when he announced he wanted to go to Hollywood do makeup and hair instead she stepped in, after all she has been a car nut since she was knee high to her father. Gabby not only runs the garage but also has a successful side business of restoring and customizing cars which is what has brought her to a car show in Las Vegas. One of her clients wants the 1954 Corvette and is going to pay her a lot of money for the project. So Gabby is determined to get the car and does win the auction from the young man who is almost feels sorry for based on the look on his face.
Thus Brodie and Gabby meet and soon discover that they have a lot more in common than they expected, plus that they know each other from a Reddit message board. Brodie still wants to buy the car from Gabby but she is not going to sell it to him. But what she does do is ask him if he wants to work on it with her, which is gladly accepts. What happens next is a slow burn romance but once it is started it burns hot and bright. But Brodie knows his time with Gabby is limited, as The Federation, which protects all shifters, only allows him to be away from Pythos for three weeks a year. He is going to have to tell Gabby eventually that he is a shifter and what that means. In the end though things transpire that will change the entire shifter community around the country and also the McKinley family.
I really loved this story as it there is so much connection between Brodie and Gabby, even right from the start when they are against each other at the auction. You just feel for Brodie when he loses the car. But in the end he gets a woman that he never even dreamed about. The ending is also really nice with the way the author has wrapped up the story-line of all the brothers and their families. This is a well written book with a story-line that is fun, sweet, romantic, flirty, sexy, has a bit of drama, tension and a lot of family and love.

This was such a wonderful but sad story at the same time. Brodie finds his Gabby who loves to work on cars more that she does. Problem is the restrictions that are placed on shifters. Things go crazy at her cousin's wedding since the Federation files were hacked. As things work out each shifter has been given the same rights as humans so they are free to travel without fear of being hunted and killed. As the brother sit down and draw up what's going to happen in their lives we find that each one has a special place they want to be and Dara is still close enough to Brodie to visit. Brodie and Gabby get their HEA. Wonderful swoon worthy series and I hate to see it end. I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Gabby is drawn to Brodie and, as they get to know each other, both of them are aware that they have more interests than simply cars. But their attraction, if he acts on it, could be dangerous, not only to Brodie but to his family as well. Will they get a HEA? Will their brothers find the freedom they have always craved?
Despite my aversion to snakes, this was a very good series that I have enjoyed. The story line was well-done and I liked the characters. Grab your copy and see if Brodie can find happiness.

This is the last book in a unique shifter series, and what an end it is. Brodie has a passion for fixing up cars, he dream is to be in LA, but with his restriction he is stuck. Gabby has taken over the family garage and is great at what she does. At a car convention she finds herself bidding with Brodie over the same car. I love that as they talk the realize they know each other from on line and their passion grows from their love of cars and music.
This story has twist and turns the leads to a beautiful ending, not only for Brodie but for all his brothers.

This is a well-written, short, shifter romance, book 4 in the Cocky Cobras Series with characters that have secrets that could put their family in danger. They are some great characters that have to deal with some drama, danger and they have lots chemistry with their mates and this is the last book of the 4 brothers. He finally finds a woman who he would be willing to break the rules for. She is drawn to him and they realize that they have a lot more in common than just cars.

I’m loving this series and this is Brodie’s and Gabby’s story. Brodie goes to a car show in Las Vegas his heart is set on buying a Corvette just like in the James Bond movie but he gets outbid by the beautiful woman behind him, Brodie is very disappointed so Gabby offers him a chance to work on it so he does. There is so much more going on in this story it’s a fantastic read and I definitely recommend this book/ series.

An enjoyable and exciting final book in the Cocky Cobras series! The story line is well written, emotionally deep, funny, engaging, and well-developed with drama, secrets, danger, twists and turns, and more. The characters are likeable and perfect together; the chemistry between them is off the charts! Sad to see the series end; it is an amazing series and I definitely recommend reading it!

Wonderful series closer!
This book really wrapped up this series wonderfully. It was nice to finally read Brodie's story, as well as get closure on the shifter issues that have developed through out each book. I don't give spoilers, so you will have to to read this series yourself to find out what I am talking about. 😉 Don't worry, it definitely worth your time. Mature eyes only due to hot 🔥 shifter loving!!!

Brodie, the last unmated cobra shifter has finally found someone to love. He turned out to be the rebel, the rule breaker in the family. All for the love of a woman. Knowing that, Gabby can’t help but fall in love with him, more deeper. Who wouldn’t, Brodie treats her as special.

I really tried to get into the story but for I just could not, I am not sure if that is because I am coming in to the end of the series. The story line had potential but it did not do it for me. The characters on the other hand were well developed and likable.

Lickety Split by Tilly Pope is a fantastic story that I have read. This is book number four in this fantastic series that I have been hooked on from the beginning of this series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about snake shifters, fantasy, small town and paranormal romance.

We get the final brother in Brodie and meeting his match in Gabby. Their connection is instant but there is danger as well. I loved seeing him find his woman like his brothers. There is a little drama but the story is short so it moves fast.

This a well written and fast paced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and action packed. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book this author writes!!!.
