BETWEEN HEAVEN AND HELL

Between heaven and hell…is earth.

For He shall give His angels charge over you…

By his sacrifice…her memories of him removed and her twin, Cash, now restored and awake, Aurek has done what he could to ensure Jane’s safety.

…to keep you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 NKJV

But dark forces are moving again, that old war is still being waged, and powerful dominions are rising. When Aurek’s protections are shattered and Jane regains her lost memories, she finds herself once more in danger. Now she’ll have to look deep within herself to find the strength to face her fears and to trust her new companions as she travels to the mouth of hell itself to bring Aurek back.

Read the exciting conclusion to the story begun in Between Earth and Eden, now.

5 “Truth is the Key” Stars⭐
A Heart-racing Conclusion to This Thrillingly beautiful & EPIC Series(/Duet)!
Fantasy at its Finest With A Deadly Fulfilling Journey, Magic, Twists, Turns, Action, Answers to Our Questions, Soulful Love AND HEA❤.

I loved Everyone already..Now even more! DEVOURED this story in 8hrs.

NOTE: You MUST read the previous book before reading this one.
>>We get 1 main Janet(Our Heroine)'s [1st Person] PoV & Multiple 3rd Person POVs Namely of: Allie (J's Roomie/Friend/Angelic Watcher), Cash (J's Twin), Aurek (Our Hero/J's Guardian), Theron (J's Ex-Boyfriend/Hunter) and some others.

The Prologue shows Cash's Efforts as A kid which inevitably led to his Coma-like-State..All to Protect Janet from Demons *Swoon*. Allie kept him company throughout the years and They fell in love..
~The story starts from the Previous book's Cliffhanger. Aurek had accepted a lifetime of Pain for Janet's Safety (His Love for her is so...Pure, Swoony, Admirable!) and Allie [Part of Aurek's team] took J's memories so she won't Hurt. Also, Cash just woke up & The twins are Reunited!

Cash & Aurek's Cadre/team know Everything but Janet remembers nothing of the supernatural.
As months pass, Cash moves in with Her & Allie, They form a Routine.
Jane should be safe, Right? BUT With Ravens & Nightmares, it seems the Demons aren't Abiding by their Deal with Aurek.
Truth Sets you Free.
They all Tell/Show Janet the truth, EVERYTHING.
What about Aurek?
Only Janet can help Set him free. For her love, She'll go to Agonia (A Prison in Purgatory, Eden).

As Aurek's team train her, Cash a soothing Presence, We find more about Eden. I'm so proud of Janet! Her character & strength grows immensely❤.
Soon She starts The Deadly Journey with her Armor & Sword.
Through Camp, Supernatural Gate Keeper, Purim, Aine (Fox) The Guide, Friends' Distraction, Cliffs-Plateau-Dessert, Dangers, Stone circle, Meeting the maker *Omg!*, Aine's Sacrifice, Fights..
~All the while Aurek was being Tortured but with Theron's unlikely help (Why?), Jane saves Aurek❤*Yay!* & Their friends at Earth knew it with thunder.

Now Before going back Aurek Shows Eden to Jane: Myths, Various Keepers, Unicorn *Wow*..
But we can't go back without a fight, huh? Demons, Choices, the Baddest one... AND home!
(The heat had increased *wink*)
~Reunion with ALL Friends *Happy Tears*, Resting & talks, Theron & Truths *Oh shit, OMG!*, Marriage Proposal *Swoon* (Well, both Aurek & Jane are virgins. He's Old-School, nothing will happen before Marriage 😉)

But An angel & Human's Relationship is Forbidden & there's nothing God/The King of Eden doesn't know & He wants a Sacrifice from Jane.•
Dark Star, Hope, Sacrifice (good in a way *whew*), Marriage *Yes!!* and Forgiveness *Sweet*.
❤Cue HEA with all the gang together, having Fun *Snicker* and Aurek & Jane going to their Honeymoon *Yay!*
--I'm So happy for Aurek & Janet, These two've gone through so so Much, They deserve all The Happiness in the World💙💙.--

~I knew there was a reason Janet's been in so much danger, We find+Fight it here!
I loved the growth of Cash+Allie's relationship throughout the story. Aurek+Janet can be together, with sacrifice, so Cash+Allie can hopefully too! *I'm Glad*
Aurek's team & Aine's awesome!
I hated Theron in previous book, but wow, he's Redeemed here, I Hope we get his Book!
>>So Hopeful+Excited For more in this Story's World😍.

This is an honest review for an arc received.

“Truth is the Key.”

E. L. Irwin has added to her fantastical world in this epic conclusion to Jane and Aurek’s love story. All of our characters, plus some new ones, will bring you on an epic journey. This story embraces the battle between good versus evil, love over hate and your ultimate belief in the King himself.

“I hope you are prepared, young Jane. There are great challenges and sacrifices ahead of you.”

Jane is desperately searching for her Guardian. She will stop at nothing to have him safely returned to her. She will need to find her physical strength as well as her ultimate strength…her faith. Although something truly amazing has happened in her family life, her thoughts are always on Aurek. Jane will move Heaven and Earth to find him and free him from his self-imposed prison.

“A sacrifice is not true without a cost,” The King said gently. “Fear not child. I am your shield now; I go with you and before you, and will bring you to a great reward.”

Aurek has been suffering his own personal hell. But that was his sacrifice to save his love. Even though he could free himself from his prison, he is bound by his honor. Thoroughly and maliciously tormented his love for Jane is what sees him through his darkest times. He knows who still lurks in the darkness, and he will stop at nothing to continue to protect Jane. After a series of unexpected events, Jane and Aurek will face their biggest challenge.

“It is I who am unworthy of you. It is I who am in awe of you. It is I who is incapable of functioning without you.”

Would you give up everything to be with the one person who completes you body and soul? What would your ultimate sacrifice be? Can everyone be redeemed?

“It is you…Who has utterly enthralled and captivated me, you who is my everything.”

5 heavenly stars!!!! I was lucky enough to receive this arc after reading and reviewing the first book. E. L. Irwin, the magical world you created was so detailed it was like I was walking and fighting right beside Jane. These characters (all of them) are beautifully developed and you can’t help but fall in love with them. You will cheer them on, you will feel all of the emotions, you will believe that as long as you have faith you can accomplish anything. Thank you E. L. Irwin for such a magical, heart felt story. The ultimate sacrifice gutted me, but Jane’s perspective was awe-inspiring. Her faith never waivered.

This sequel to the "Between Earth and Eden", brings the storyline to a satisfactory finale, complete with a delicious twist. Continuing from the previous book, Janet's twin, Cash, is finally awake from his long coma, and finally, the backstory of his accident is divulged. But, the demon has gone back on his promise to the Guardian, Aurek. Now, only Janet could rescue Aurek from his plight; but first, she has to get her memories back.

Between Heaven and Hell sends Janet on a journey where she discovers her own true strength. Considered the naive, secluded character she displayed through most of the first book, in this sequel she grows into the heroine of the story, with the support of Cash, and a group of angels.

Between Heaven and Hell make a light, and relaxing holiday read, recommended for anyone who read Between Earth and Eden, and those who enjoy fantasy unfolding in a modern setting..

The second book in this duology had valleys and peaks for me. There was a lot of repetitiveness in the beginning to mid- however the ending of the book left me with a wow.

I’m not a religious person, but it left me with a sense of peace and comfort and awe. You can tell the love the author has for her religion and god. This duology is a beautiful love letter to her faith and you could feel it as a writer.

So while the pacing and editing may need some minor adjustments- the feelings that were provoked makes this a five star series for me. I highly encourage even if this is not your faith, to read it with an open mind as you would for any other faith.

Janet as a main character really found her footing in this book and became so much more likeable (not that she was unlikeable in the first book). There are a couple of fallen characters who are able to reach redemption- which I love. Honestly the hunter is my favorite character in this book- which is a much different story from book 1 as well. I just enjoyed his story arch and how he has flaws. I’d say all the characters are much more developed and robust this time around and make for a story a step above a normal fantasy romance. This book felt like an early Jennifer L. A. Book (which to me is a compliment).

I highly encourage the author to continue to write fantasy romance around her faith and writing characters who have flaws and archs as well as romance. She has all the makings for a future huge hit!

I'm lost for words. The story is a continuation of the first that takes us through Janet's journey to rescue Aurek from the hands of Theron. I must say that the story is quite heartwarming and an imagination booster. I have really enjoyed it and i was deeply impressed with the twists and cleverly planted parts.
I thought it was brilliant.
And of course I'd recommend it 💯

This was an anticipated read I couldn't wait to start. I really enjoyed both books in the duet and really hope there is more from this group about other people. This one was a intense and very surprising. I really didn't see that end coming. Jane definitely grew into such a strong person. It was a pleasure to have been given a copy of this book to give an honest review.

This book was even better than the first and I absolutely loved the first book! This book amped up the action and romance. I appreciated the Christian spiritual connections. I am buying copies of both books for Christmas gifts this year!

**UPDATE/10-27-21**
Hello readers, just wanted to give you a heads up. Currently, BHAH, is not available for purchase from retailers. It is however, available as a signed paperback directly from me. I have recently signed with a literary agent and hope to have re-release information available soon. Also, I have begun work on another novel in this series, entitled, Between Blood and Stone. Keep a lookout for that one as well.

**Some TEASERS for your reading pleasure**

“She’s mine. I’m going to take my time as I destroy your sister, boy. You can’t save her… And the sounds she’ll make, as I tear her apart… exquisite.” – Demon

Aurek… thought of the flame that was her soul. Of each and every moment spent with her. The sound of her voice. The warmth in her touch. The taste of her lips. The scent of her skin. He remembered it all.

Desolation. Looking around, as far as I could see into the distance, there was nothing but ash and soot. Every indication of life was simply gone, destroyed. Nothing left but the ashes of the memory. – Jane

“There are things I want, Janet,” he whispered against my shoulder. Teeth nipping gently, pointedly. “Things… things I’ve never experienced before, but that I want to experience with you.” – Aurek

A truly thrilling and exciting conclusion to what has been a thoroughly enjoyable duet, i have loved every minute of being immersed in this enchanting world of magic and mystery as the fight between good and evil continues.

"I'll show you how legends and myths are made"

After the ending of between earth and eden I was eagerly awaiting the concluding part to the story ,so to say I was excited to start is an understatement and wow what a story.

I cried, I laughed and spent most of the book on the edge of my seat and oh how my heart did break in parts..

"Was it possible for my heart to shatter and yet still beat"

But by the end i had a very happy heart ❤ such a perfect ending to a fantastic duet!

I'm so extremely grateful I was given the chance to read these books , I'd never read anything from this author before so was a little apprehensive before I started, because so many times I've started to read what I thought would be a brilliantly written PNR for it to just fall somewhat flat ......but not this duet oh no , this is everything and more and has now definitely become one of my favourites, im just hoping this isn't the last we see of Eden.....

An epitome of pure love.
“You will cry, smile, get goosebumps and fall in love with all the characters.”
Janet Tanner, a 22-year-old girl, lost her twin brother to a coma in her high school. Her journey continues in the second book–“Between Heaven and Earth. “
In the first book, she lost her guardian in the battle against the demon. The second book starts with flashes and the POV of Janet’s brother Cash, who has been in a coma. Briefing readers on what exactly happened on that day she lost her brother to a coma.
Janet has lost her memories of Aurek (her guardian) and Theron (her demon). All was going good until Theron started interfering along with other demons in Janet’s life again. Finally, when she gained her memory, she started her venture to bring and save her guardian, her love back from Purgatory. Her journey was full of will and determination one faces along their journey to achieve something close to their hearts. She was also ready to sacrifice to be with her guardian till death came to her.
E.L. Irwin did a great job while describing Eden. She beautifully weaves all the myths and folklore in this story. She gave us the stories behind walking and talking trees and their protector, stone circles, the Ents and took me to Lewis and Tolkien world. I also love the idea where both demon and guardian were helping and navigating Janet towards a beautiful path.
She depicts our daily fights against our demons when we fall for depression, self-harm and how guardians, the beautiful side of ourselves, help us bring back to life.
This story has given me tears, goosebumps and smiles and put me in awe while reading.

After reading the outstanding book, “Between Earth and Eden”, I absolutely couldn’t wait to read the conclusion of this duet. These books are about the realm humans may only vaguely be aware of and most don’t realize. This book concludes the fight of good vs evil and the fate of Janet and her brother, Cash, who has been in a coma along with Aurek the guardian Janet can’t live without. I don’t want to give anything away but I will say this duet is quite the journey! The second half of this story is packed with a lot of adventure and imagery that leads to a satisfying conclusion. At times I felt like too much was packed into the second half that I got a little confused as to why it was being brought to the reader’s attention. However, the conclusion will leave with a warm feeling that you will be glad you read the books! I received an ARC for my honest review.

After Aurek’s sacrifice at the end of book one, Janet Caroline Tanner remembers nothing of the world of Eden, or demons, or her Guardian. At the orders of Aurek, her memory has been wiped, and with Cash awake, she has other things on her mind.

But Theron, the demon who holds Aurek captive, is not adhering to his part of the deal. Still he stalks Jane, which causes her taken memories to start coming back to the surface. Once Jane has her memories back, and realizes what is happening to Aurek, she is willing to do anything to get him back - even going into Purgatory.

“Between Heaven and Hell” is the stunning conclusion to the Guardian duology. A series full of humor, adventure, plot twists, and clean romance, it is definitely something you don’t want to miss!

After finishing the first book Between Earth and Eden, I could not wait for Between Heaven and Hell. I needed more of Aurek and Jane! I really enjoyed reading and getting to know Cash and Allie and seeing how their relationship developed as well and hope they get their own story.
***
I love Aurek, but Theron ended up stealing my heart. He needs his own happy ending.
***
E.L Irwin did an amazing job writing this book, I felt like I was there with the characters through it all. The characters are perfectly written and I loved the relationship between everyone. Jane is role model material, so fierce and brave and willing to do anything for love. The ending was super sweet, but I need more!! Hopefully there is more of Eden for me to read😀.

This book gives so much feels. Jane grew so much in this book and the story is well written. I loved how each character was integrated in the story. But what I loved most was Theron's story and redemption arc. It captivated me the most too. I never expected such plot twist.

🌟Between Heaven and Hell is the second book in "The Guardian Series". This book will take you to the thrilling conclusion to the epic journey of romance and suspense that was shown in Part 1- "Between Earth and Eden". I was curious to read this second book because I wanted to know, what is the ending to the suspense in Jane's life story.

🌟E.L. Irwin created a fantastical world that I totally got lost in. The second part is more interesting to read and your excitement to know what is going to happen next will keep you interested in this story till the end, you will anxiously await to see where this story goes and the conclusion of this story. In this story, there is a lot to know about jane, her twin and Aurek.

🌟This magical world created in this story is wonderful. All the characters are beautifully developed and you can't help but fall in love with them. The best thing is you will feel all of the emotions very well. A truly exciting conclusion will blow your mind. I got lost in this world of magic and mystery as the fight between good and evil continues. I am fully impressed with the writing and imagination skills of the author. She is good with creating stories that can attract people and I am glad to say that both the books are worth reading.

Between Heaven And Earth, the second book and conclusion of the Guardian Series by E.L. Irwin was absolutely perfect. I found it to be a great romantic fantasy. I was sorry to see that it may be the end of the Guardian Series. I would read a dozen more by Irwin. The variety and depth of the characters is fascinating. It shows so much imagination. Yes, there was romance and, yes,, there was fantasy, but there was so much more. The story was intriguing and complex and there were many heart-stopping twists. I could easily see the Guardian series going several more books. It is a series, I would recommend reading book one, Between Earth And Eden, first there is so much that the prolog could not contain that adds to the story, I wouldn’t have missed. So good. I highly recommend both books for the fantasy and the romance reader.
