Taboo Knowledge: What Leaders of Science, Religion, & Politics Don’t Want You to Know
If you believe without a doubt what your science teachers told you in school that matter is all there is, and that if it cannot be seen under a microscope, then it doesn’t exist, this book is not for you. As Thomas Gray wrote more than 250 years ago, “Where ignorance is bliss, ’tis folly to be wise.” So, don’t risk upsetting yourself by reading this book. You would probably remain in denial, anyway, and perhaps even write a one-star review.
On the other hand, if you believe that the universe had to come from something rather than nothing and would like to know a plausible theory concerning what that might be, then you have come upon a book that just might have the answer. Read it, but please do so with an open mind.
This book lays out a theory and backs it up with facts and scientific research findings concerning what the universe and you are at the core—the ground of being of all that is, including you. The truth is, this is not new information. A tiny number of wise men and women have known throughout the ages, but chances are you do not know because in the twenty-first century western world this knowledge is taboo. Leaders of science in particular, and many in politics and religion, do not want you to know. If you and others found out, they would lose face and power, and you would become the one empowered, along with others who know.
In plain English, the author explains clearly who and what the self is in each of us—along with much, much more, including how to make the most of it.
