Deliciously creepy. A little confusing but never boring. I couldn't put it down and it definitely left me wanting more which any good prequel should do.

Hushed is the prequel for The Hushed Horror Series. It is a creepy story that begins with a horrible rape. Somehow that incident blends into an evil form that brings rot and stench with it as it takes revenge on those it despises.

This story has equal parts of evil, the unknown, and horror in it. I love a good horror story and I believe this series meets my standards in a very unusual way. I’ve been known to be the only one in the theater for horror films and I love it! I am anxious to continue this series and have my questions about this repulsive form answered! Do not read before going to sleep!

Difficult to follow. Jumps around a lot, but definitely a must read for the horror fan. Moving on to the " The Still".

I signed up for the author's newsletter, and got this for free. I went into it totally blind, not even reading the blurb. I was confused at times. It starts out 20 years earlier, and something evil happens, but I didn't get a clear picture as to how the evil attached to someone. Then, years later, something bad happens, and a creature appears seeking revenge. The story unravels bit by bit, giving us hints as to whats happening. It's what I would call a perfect prequel because it leaves you wanting more and curious as to the events in the next books
