After their invasion of the Academy and Sig's betrayal, Zundy and his crew head off toward Cointown, where they are supposed to meet a contact of the crime boss, Big Fish.
Things in the Giantlands are never as they seem, and their careful plans are soon derailed. With a new crew member in tow, Zundy and company set out on a harrowing journey to clear the first section of their Great Journey toward the Green Sea.
Massive Guardians stand in their way, however, the first major test for any crew. Does Zundy have what it takes to lead his crew to victory? Or, will he, like so many others, fail to make the cut, and prematurely end his quest for the Viridian Core?
Warning: This book contains GameLit elements, such as stat sheets, a form of leveling, and experience gain.
First, my review: “This was a fun book. I am glad that I read it. You should try it too.”
Second, I am not a bot...at least I don’t think I am. Yes this is copy pasta (just learned that term, so fun!) simply because I feel like any book I read deserves acknowledgement but at the same time my feelings on reviews conflict with the normal review process.
I enjoyed this book, so my goal is to promote it and help the author. If you are a potential reader, just stop reading now and take the above as all you need to know. I am not going to share my reasoning, thoughts on the book, or any opinions that would influence your decision to read it. It is my opinion that Art needs to be experienced at an individual level. You are the only one that can determine what you like and don’t like. Don’t let others make that decision for you. You should definitely read the book and completely ignore all of the reviews. Or not if you don’t think this book is for you. That choice is all yours and the beauty of art appreciation. You are a much better judge of what you will like than anyone here.
If you are a member of the IAK Guild (thanks, Jason) or part of the review police, feel free to criticize me and challenge my philosophy on reviewing art. I think we all love a good debate. The forums are open and I welcome your comments. I was wrong in my previous request to get you to stop. Your blatant disregard for that request has led to some fun discussions. Growth is important for us all.
i like the series and you were able to keep it interesting and while it was slightly predictable it still had me on the edge of my seat most of the time. i can’t wait to find out who else might join, what other races i’ll find out about, and all the new skills the people will unlock. can’t wait for more
I enjoyed myself a lot, can't wait for more. The ending felt tacked on there and made little sense and you miss spelled sub-races when talking about angels, unless you ment rub-races. Thanks for the story man.
Good mix of One Piece and other anime and LitRPG elements, this was a very entertaining read. This showed the struggle the crew would need to undertake to actually grow strong, and the Navigator is a welcome addition to the crew. Looking forward to the next book.
I like the stroy but love the characters the most. I wish there was a few gains in skills or even a new skill for each member. I love that the world and characters are being flushed out and built up more. I do have to say that I enjoy the quips from Zunndy's memories.
More hijinks in Giantland as our MC grows and gains a new crew member. Fantastic world building. Of course it may remind you of something but this still feels like it’s own story. Now to patiently wait for more.
Another amazing book in this series! I really love this one and I cannot wait to see how the heroes progress in the next book. Hopefully it won’t be too long before the book comes out.
i thought it was a great book and i couldn’t put it down i wish the book was a little longer but i really enjoyed the read can’t wait for the next book
Nice sequel. I like the growing crew and that we get to know them a bit better in this book. The action and adventure is pretty non stop and there is a good amount of leveling up.
