They're complete opposites but in order to survive, they must work together. Prince Alistair, general of the Summer Lands, wields the powerful Sun Sword. Princess Nesrin, heir to the Winter Court, controls the dark. She annoys him. He frustrates her. When centuries of immortal peace are shattered, they only have each other. Together, both must return to the high fae realm and reclaim Nesrin's throne. The incredible obstacles they face are many, but there is one challenge above all else—they absolutely cannot fall in love, as Alistair's brother has claimed Nesrin as his bride.
Starless Knight is book one in a new fantasy romance series by author Marie Robinson, where complete opposites are forbidden from being together. Combined with running for their lives and being forced to pretend they're betrothed, the tension runs hot. The Immortal Courts is an adult fantasy series that is unsuitable for chaste readers.

I loved this new start. Great magic and plot twists with deception and betrayals that go beyond realms! Love the forced proximity and enemies to lovers troupes of romance along with epic quests. These characters were a lot of fun reading. I especially love Nesrin’s love of desserts and chocolate. Girl after my own heart. Plus the back and forth between her and Alistar was quite hilarious at times and the chemistry was hot! Definitely not fade to black here. Can’t wait for more!!
Ok, first of all: I need the next book like now!!! Now that that is out of the way, lets review! Wow, what a great beginning for a new series, I love how Nesrin is not your typical hero but a girl with strengths and flaws who loves beautiful clothes and dessert!! I also love that she is such an strategist and can really assume her reigning role. One great thing about it is how the relationship with Alistair develops, slow and strong. The twists and turns had me biting my nails, lol. Did I say I need more??? Please give me more
