This storyline is heating up and fast... Secrets are coming out and people are finding out really quickly that the people they thought they knew would betray them with the quickness...
Aunjunae is doing the best that she can for her son... She is trying to make the right decisions and keep him safe... It just seems harder and harder to do... Just when they started to get a little comfortable... Things quickly take a turn and they are off again... Only this time things do not go as planned... Now she is stuck with an even harder decision...
Prez is a good man... He just happens to surround himself with untrustworthy people... Then when things go left he places the blame on the one person that has been trying to protect him... I feel like his heart is in the right place... But his feeling are hurt and he needs someone to lash out and put the blame on... I think he is a man that does not know how to deal with his emotions and rejection... Now that all this has presented itself to his doorstep... He needs to buckle up and handle business or he could lose everything and everyone he loves...
I love Echo and his crazy self... He has a hard exterior but he is super soft inside... What he went out of his way to do for Dia's daughter said a lot... He is a good man and just wants to find love... It has been hard for him but with Dia, I think he finally found his match... He is also a good friend ro Prez... When Prez is going off of emotions... Echo is right there trying to bring him back to reality and help him make the right decision...
Mitch is all in his emotions because Prez and Echo want better for themselves and want out of the game... All because Mitch is not smart with his money and did not invest as he should have... He has turned on them... But now look at what he has gotten himself... And all because of his greed and jealousy...
What can I say about Deja... She is no good and just wants to keep putting the blame on everyone else... Then got the nerve to get mad because Prez cut her off financially... She is a grown woman and Prez is not her man... If she would have been taking care of her son J the way she should have... She would be in a better position then she is now... But now she is left with a decision that may cost her everything...
Now onto part 3 to see how this will all play out...

Engaging
So many different plot lines to keep you engaged. Aunjanae was the damsel in distress that all she knew was to run. Indirectly she placed everyone around her in danger. I'm a big fan of words and wordplay. So there was something about the way Paco was the ultimate, most sinister villain just by the way he phrased his words, was almost chilling!!! Mitch and Deja were the dumbest extortionist duo ever!!! Now the clock is ticking for everyone involved!!! Will Aunjanae survive to make it back to Prez' safe arms? Oh yeah what is Dia's bum, loser baby daddy on? I can't wait for part 3!!!!

The women in this booked worked my nerves like no other. However I still like the flow and the character development. In my opinion it’s still a 5 star book. I actually couldn’t guess what would happen next. Dia...I don’t understand giving second chances when it comes to kids. Kendrick, Deja, Mitch and Paco...I hope they get what they deserve. Prez and Echo has the patience of Job. I’m starting part 3 now.

Picked up right where the last installment left off. Aunjunae, is getting on my last nerves, even though, I understand she should've listened to Prez. Hopefully, things will work out. Mitch and Deja getting exactly what their scandalous behinds deserve. I can't believe the book stopped at 85%....that could've been more of the story.

GREAT SERIES!!!
This part was just as good as part 1. I'm loving each book. They are getting better and better..Mitch got exactly what he deserved and I can't wait for Deja to get what's coming to her. I hope who I think it is on that phone. I was expecting that at the funeral home..I can't wait to read part 3. N'dia you have done it again..

Augne has had the worst dealt hand ever. I feel she should have stayed
Running has caused more bad than good. Poor lil hero he doesn't have a clue about why they keep leaving. Ms. Ernestine was a mean ole lady but still bless her heart. Mitch got exactly what he deserved and Deja you're next.

Why oh why must you add excerpts from other books to replaces pages...seriously...the book ends at 85 percent. The book is short as hell as is....stop short changing readers. Some may not care abt excerpts from other books. If I like the author, I'll go down the line reading all their books.
Now, as far as the story...I like it. Keep it up and stop short changing books.

Good Stuff
The writer throws us right back into the action and doesn't let off the gas. We get the second installment to what is shaping up to be a good series. There are going to be a few surprises that are going to shake you up . This was overall a good story and a really good installment to the series.
