This may be a shorter book, but it's packed with action and events. I like how there's been a scene in each book so far where the detectives are conferring with one another or talking to their forensics lab tech. It was cool how some findings coincided with one of their visits to Becca's neighborhood just as she'd called them. There were some nasty people doing some even nastier things to Becca's home and business as well as the homes of some of her neighbors to the point of one of them being killed. I liked that the mystery was solved, but at the end it leads into the next book with just a little teaser.

In book 2, Becca is under the gun again. A big development wants to purchase her house and several others along the beach. She refuses to sell and things start going wrong. A big catering event is totally ruined, supplies at her business are ruined, her house is broken into and her cat is kidnapped. As she is getting more and more freaked out, she needs to not only find who is doing this but she gets a lot of people involved in driving the big developer out of town.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

A Neighbor Perpetrator
Just when you think you’ve hit your groove,Someone swoops in to knock you off track.Clambake caterer, Becca Rogers, is hopping mad when it seems as though someone is trying to sabotage her business and home.
The culprit was a neighbor who was greedy. He killed his own neighbor woman who was totally innocent. I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book.

Becca’s clambake catering is being sabotage and she is angry. As the season becomes busy, she has no time for evil antics that will hurt her business.

Things take a nasty turn when someone dies and she’ll have to find the killer before they strike again which includes her.

Enjoy this beachy cozy read which will have you yearning for summer clambake season.

The setting for this series is perfect. New England has a reputation for seafood, the two go hand in hand. The characters are interesting and the mystery was well plotted.

A major developer wants to buy the properties in Beccas neighborhood but she and others don't want to sell. Then a vandalism starts to occur and even the business is threatened. Can Becca hold out against the onslaught?

Nice series...

..good stories and good characters - I especially like Becca & Katie’s friendship and the possibility of a romance between Becca and Detective Reynolds. Hope the series continues.
